Kunoichi trainer karin mushroom level stuck

Did the quest. Got back. Orochimaru sent me to find her. We hid in a tree and I screamed at her, so I lost.

Opened a previous save file, went to do the mushroom quest, and boom. This time there are no mushrooms on the map and I can't leave.
