RPGM - Completed - KunoSuba: Curse the defeated Sow Knight [v1.0.0] [SoranoKana]

A short story with much less scenes than are implied, even when doing everyone possible optional scene you are looking at less than 2 hours play time. This is both a good thing and a bad thing, good because it allows this game to cut out the endless filler that many H games have, bad because it's not really enough to adequately explore the scenario. This is particularly noticeable with the pregnancy content as Darkness goes from impregnated to fully pregnant nearly instantly and gives birth only to immediately become fully pregnant again in a single scene.

There is a lot of fetish content in this game and the art is really quite good, but the game is too short and explores most concepts exactly once. Nothing really lasts long enough to marinate and it results in it all being broadly disposable. It's a shame because pretty much all the scenes taken in isolation are excellent, but when you realize that most scenes are both short and the NPC is the only source of this specific content it loses it's luster. By the time Darkness gets pregnant the game is already mostly over and you've figured out that the optional content consists of reused CGs with new writing. The spanking goblin for example spanks day 1, spanks and creampies day 2 and does the same thing every other day to pregnant Darkness. All in all that goblin has 5 different variations of the scene which is a totally servicable amount, but the latter three have only have minor changes on how much Darkness is into it and that is only between enjoying it a lot and loving it.

Ultimately for a first game there is a lot of solid elements and it shows a clear potential. Hopefully the developer's next game is larger and more substantial, because I think some more time in the oven and this game would of been an instant classic.

KunoSuba: Curse the Defeated Sow Knight met Darkness au centre d’une aventure aussi gênante que jouissive. L’humour est omniprésent, les situations sont absurdes . Son évolution est bien menée, fidèle à son personnage . Le gameplay est quasi inexistant, mais ce n’est pas un problème tout repose sur les dialogues et les interactions . Si tu aimes Darkness et son penchant pour les situations embarrassantes, ce jeu est fait pour toi.

pregnant Darkness still had same womb image which was unfertilized and without goblin children, her own body looked a bit too mature with nipples particularly but all those things could be forgotten with nice story and creative writting, dev could still add few scenes where it mattered to make it look even better than it is but it was still pretty good

Nice story and CG. It’s rare to see a finished goblin corruption so I’ll take it.
The story could be longer and there could be more CG but what we got now isn’t too bad.
Hope the developer makes more games!

Darkness Best Waifu. Anway, this game was unexpectedly good! There are plenty of high quality scenes and kinks! The art is amazing! The gameplay is non existent, it's basically a visual novel in rpgm, but it works, and tells an actually plausible story in the lore of the source material. Also the ending was EXTREMELY unexpected. Good game.

I only gave it 4 stars because I thought it ended too quickly. The art is good, the mechanics are good. I just wish there were multiple births, especially because of the goblin theme.

Anyway, overall I really liked it, I just didn't want to finish it so quickly.

I was honestly suprised the game is basically linear.
I actually had some fun captured the character good enough.
The pregnancy mechanic is basically random magic bullshit.
Which is fair just don't expect something to fancy go in there play it yourself have some fun and you will see it is an good enough game.

Short Kinetic story with the right amount of scenes.
No backtracking or grinding , straight to the action from the start. I loved how it ended as well.
While there aren't as much CGs , I think it is enough for what is represented. The protagonist is corrupted and raped constantly until the very end.
This has some 2-3 hours of content.

2.5 actual rating

Gameplay was RPGmaker, but was essentially a Kinetic novel with some small variant/option 'scenes'. The actual quality of the scenes are pretty standard, and Childbirth happens once. Run time is ~45 minutes, and dialogue outside of the Kazuma interactions may as well have been bog-standard mind control/brainwash.

It claims 300 HCGs, but those numbers have to count a lot of very subtle differences. The playthrough is short enough that baring just seeing the HCGs alone, you are getting mostly setup and then execution dialogue.

If the art wasn't as decent as it was, or the run time was more meandering; I'd have given it a 2. Mostly unexciting. The final reveal of course should drop it by a full grade, but at least in universe it isn't as bad as it is unless you really wanted the ending.

A very linear but hot goblin corruption story! Very linear and you get a scene room after beating the game, so no need to save to see choices and such. The writing is great too, while remaining close to the original characters. Very excited to see the next work from this dev!!

GOOD. animated which is nice. translation is a bit dodgy but understandable. A captivating world, and captivating characters inside it. So much love, care, and passion went into this game and you can feel it. This is one of the few RPGMaker games that really stand out from the rest. Pregnancy is possible, a very rare kink.

This game is more in the style of Visual Novels. You can only move around. There is are no battles or choices. There is only one path you can't miss it. The sex scenes and Darkness portrait are on the right side. It is nice to see the visual change in Darkness as the story progress but it still could have been better if it was a Visual Novel. I would normally give this a 2 because while the sex scenes are hot if you like the goblin rape genre but the game is boring since you are only moving around. It would have been better to see the game in was made as a Visual Novel in Ren'Py.

BUT the surprise ending raises it to 3. It is only of the few corruption stories with a happy ending. Also I am glad to see this parody did the canon characters justice by not make Kazuma abandoned his friends and Darkness while falling to be a goblin slave still wanted to escape and save Kazuma

As a Konosuba fan I enjoyed reading through this game once for not butchering the characters and giving me a chuckle but I won't be playing it again.

Its short but its sweet the art that's there is amazing and the story is great the only annoying this is does that whole "IT WAS A DREAM ALL ALONG" meme the dev has also watched the anime at least and they do know how the characters should act its very linear but that's a plus in this games book if i'm being honest.

All in all its like less than one hour of gameplay so your not wasting much time even if you find you didn't like it and darkness finally get what she always wanted.
