I'd suggest a clarification of all the serum trait description, or at the very least add an option to toggle between the "realistic, unmeasured effect" (which is weird considering other vanilla traits have detailed stats) and the precise stat changes. For example instead of "Permanently increases (stats)", change it to "Permanently increases (stats) by X points over X turns" or "Permanently increases (stats) by X points and an additional temporary Y points for (durations)", depending on your intention because I don't know which one your serum is. Or append "This serum causes discomfort" with an accurate "- X happiness/obedient/etc over (duration)" so we know how to balance it out.

I don't even know what to say about this. Are you just copy-pasting the effects?

Like, really. Let us see the stats. Given that we can manually put single traits on individual primitive vials and monitor its effect on a test girl, but isn't that what the damn 2000 serum research is for?

hi I found a bug where the clone asks me to hire its mother even though it is a clone
pretty sure that was fixed in the develop... I'm still waiting for the next stable release to be released, but unfortunately VT 4.0+ only works on the Develop now as core features have been altered.

AttributeError: 'VTPerson' object has no attribute 'human_resource_potential'

I am downloading develop branch of the base game. Will update post if it fixes the error.


Works now. No problem at all.

Hey ,

I have just downloaded and installed the latest version from you. However, in the game it shows that it is version 31 instead of 32. See also the picture.

I also get an error message when I click on the people's information (and rview staff too) ---) "Human Resource Potential

Ah dammit, yeah it is still 4.0.31 my bad... haven't released 4.0.32 yet, still working on it.

Also according to the pic you sent... it won't work on 2024.08, as stated.. you would need the development one as core files have changed, along with a more recent renpy (which is included with the development one in a zip file) and then VT 4.0.31 will work as usual.

What should I be looking out for? Do they just show up like regular events on the map? Still haven't had a single one trigger.
No... the NPC will seek you out, or when you enter a room they appear. Employees usually when you enter lobby/CEO office, lily/jen etc usually when you head home, but yeah most times the yellow ! marker will flag the event.

Ok, I've spent like 2 hours trying to get this to work with the dev build as you said.
I've gotten to the point where the base game works, but when I put the mod files in the game folder I get this:

Ren'Py 8.1.3.23091805 <------ like I said... in the develop, you need to use the LR2R-Runtime.zip.... open the zip file and copy the files to the folder it is in.
and the develop I am referring to.. is

Thanks, I was using the renpy sdk linked in the github instructions and missed the part about the zip in the other post.

Edit: Ok, I used the link you provided, and the base game launched fine, but again when adding the mod files I got this; am I dumb, do the mod files not just go into "game"?

No, you are not stupid. A lot of people make the same mistakes, I know I did when I first started with the whole renpy thing... not realizing a mods folder could be 'mod' folder named as well XD so yeah, spelling counts... has nothing to do with stupidity, just inconsistencies, hence why I got the community to finally accept it as mods folder and now part of the core game even when there is nothing in it. But yeah, once you pop it in there, VT will do the rest.
