Lack of games?

Is it me or has there been a severe lack of games in the adult community? I remember games like Bonetown (decent for 2008, graphics wise) & 7sins wayyy back in the day. But now, I feel like games are not as good.. even for Unreal Engine - we haven’t had a decent game in quite some time.

Am I the only one that feels like this? What’s happening? Cuz I feel like there’s a niche for these types of games.

Quality generally keeps going up, which means new games have a higher bar for success... and then take more time to build, because in 2022 people won't even look at content that would've been top-tier back in 2018 or such. And it's not just restricted to porn games - even indies on Steam are finding it harder to get noticed as the market gets progressively more saturated.

Blame the player base. We're all spoiled by choice, and I'll be the first one to admit it.

Maybe try sorting by user rating?
It's the button/icon that looks like a star.
Yeah, I’ve played most of the high rated ones. Not super into VN’s though, I mainly look at the unity & unreal engine categories so maybe that’s my problem lol

Why comment this? Toxic.

Because it's a nonsense question. There's a reason nobody goes "wow Bonetown, what a game, why aren't there more like that". Nobody even remembers Bonetown. It was panned and ignored even when it was new. It's straight-up a bad game.

I can only imagine you were like 14 when Bonetown came out and it was your first porn game. Am I close? And you're wondering why games today don't recapture that feeling of awe and endless possibility you had when playing Bonetown. Well let me clear that up for you: it's because you're older now.

I have this same relationship myself with Cobra Mission: Panic in Cobra City, but I don't go around asking why games aren't like that anymore. And if I did, I'd fully expect someone to reply "lol okay" to me.

From the examples you have given it sounds like you prefer 3D games over 3Dcg ones.
