VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Lancaster Boarding House [Final] [Daniels K]

2 stars for palpable LI models and some animations. Other than that, the relationships are written pretty pre-maturely. The MC's first love storyline already tells me how little thought is put into the progression aspect. I gave it a second chance to see how it would handle other characters but of course my female roommate just so happen to have a crush on me because I've help-... no, I've woo-... no... because I am a guy, I suppose? Or that she saw me standing up to a girl bully and now she's caught feelings? Hell, if only life was that simple!

good render quality and most of the girls are enjoyable to look at so it's worth a try. choices change the scenes you can get. there are some annoying two still photo "animations" and then there are some decent actual animations. there's quite a bit of dialogue but it's mostly forgettable. being forced into a relationship with the most boring girl in the game sucked.

One of the best games I've played, it was quite an experience. The storyline was engaging, with well-developed characters that added depth to the narrative. The choices were diverse enough to keep me invested in the story's progression. However, some of the supporting characters felt a bit one-dimensional at times.

Graphically, the game was pleasing, but not overly impressive. Sound effects and background music added to the overall ambiance without overpowering the narrative.

This game has come close to putting me to sleep multiple times,
there is just not much happening, and it has a boring drag on feel.

Also I think this may be the first game I've played where the MC
has a tiny penis, which is very strange, though sometimes the
women in the game comment telling him how big it is.
Then there is a scene where Jason who is a carbon
copy of MC meaning looks just like him, same skin
tone and same tiny penis and they have a threesome
with the character rose.

While the sex scenes may have some animation and even
sound, they are done in such a cheesy way that I was glad
when they were over with. This is one of the few games
I've played where I hated the sex scenes because
they were so terrible.

The characters in the game were about as fun as watching
paint dry or grass grow.

The game needed a better story line and better characters,
and definitely more attractive characters as none of them
stand out on looks.

There is also a cult story line in the game that goes nowhere,
the developer is inconsistent in his writing.

The Dialogue is pretty good and the girls are hot, but most of the story is unrealistic. the girls fall too fast for mc. this game basically forces you to cheat, not a fan personally. but still enjoyed the gameplay, had some interesting scenes.

I mean that game is pretty average .Renders are average ,story average but it is finished visual novel and it is tight little game to play .İf you like college type games you liked this one. But girls are pretty hot tho.

Should have a NTR tag even if it is only 1 event of it happening. Other than that the game is pretty dated compared to the stuff coming out today and the writing is hard to get through without good visuals and animations.

Average seems to be the standard with the games from this creator but i expect there will be a real gem from him at some point since hes games always have great LI.
Been playing alot of hes games lately and while most are worth playing there are still flaws in my eyes when it comes to stories, this one proberly has the most flaws in my eyes as i will explain below.

In this game, your forced to be with a LI from the very start which is something i personaly dont like, since if you dont like the girl your forced to cheat on her and i am not really into that when the game isent a harem, i did like Chloe in this one but also like Anna so you would have to do a playthrough where you dump Chloe to be with Anna and i hate that.

I know there has been other games with NTR stuff from this creator, but normaly it will show the tag for it to warn people, i am really not into NTR at all which is why it supprised me alot seeing it with no tag.

Rose which my MC has already had sex with in a 3-some i would consider a potential LI, she turns into a complete idiot that refuses to listen to MC and then go on to be fucked by an idiot MC dosent like or trust.
What makes that even more stupid is Jason is trying to gain the trust of MC to not reveal secrets about the weird sex cult thing, so for him to go against MC just to fuck Rose that he couldent care less about is idiotic, he would risk losing MCs trust by doing that, sadly MC is an idiot when it comes to things like this so he wont even do anything, and after she has sex you can tell her you had feelings for her making it all even more stupid since he should have said that before she fucked another guy, even though it should be pretty clear to her already why else would you have fucked her ealiere.

To me its clearly NTR and it should have the tag for it, since its most defently against MCs will and he has feelings for her and had sex with her, before she fucks Jason, this is by far the biggest mistake in the hole game which most agree with on the forums, the scene should never have been in the game but since it is it loses alot of points on this.

Virgin scenes are really poor as well, you just see MC fucking full speed stright from the start, its almost funny if it wasent so bad.

Pregnancy? not sure why it has that tag, not even your main girlfriend gets pregnant in the ending, same with Anna ending nothing, so its really weird considering pregnancy tag, i guess someone will show it? but none of those i picked so 0 points for that tag.

The hole virgin sex cult thing really dident make much sense to me, not just the fact that they want the girls to be virgins but at the same time they want them to pratice with a dildo? i guess to remove their hymen? so they would never know if she really is a virgin or not which seems to be an importen part to be in the cult, it just dosent make sense to me at all, and you never get to learn anything about the clue it just gets ignored, atleast in the endings ive played.

Girls/Lis they look good and unique no complaints about that, this creator seems to have good looking Lis in all hes games.

Animations are pretty poor and extreemly short and no dialogs when it starts it stops after a single click with the mouse, so its way below average, some if not most is just picture to picture.

Music is ok, nothing special just background music.

It's been a while since I've played this game; I'm trying to rely on my memory... Since then, there have been so many good games that unfortunately it has faded away. Yet, when I delved back into it, I thought to myself: hey, not bad!! The story flows well, and it keeps you engaged; you read everything. The girls are beautiful and keep us immersed in the game. It's well-written. So, there are few points that make it negative. Maybe it's a bit too simplistic, lacking the surprises we expect from this type of game, and the topics covered are rather common. While it may not be original, it remains captivating, and there's good work behind it; that's evident. It's interesting, but... there are worse main characters out there. The current one is mediocre; at least this one is just a normal guy, so that's a plus.

It's one of the very first good adult visual novel games I stumbled upon, and it certainly helped inform me more about this world of adult visual novels. So, thank you for the game, and looking forward to the next one

This started out as a terrific VN, but ended a disappointment.

It has great looking LIs and terrific renders. The sound effects for the lewd scenes are generally good and fit reasonably well. The music was generally good, but got repetitive. And while the story starts out with some promise, it doesn't follow through.

Animations in this VN are rudimentary, with what appears to be later added video files in some of the scenes. These files appear to be at a lower resolution than the still renders/back-and-forth animation renders (typically two positions that switch out with each other in a .gif style with that fuzzy transition thing going on as they do), and diminish the scenes when they kick in.

The VN had an interesting "sex cult" aspect that was thrown in, but not well followed-through, with no real resolution within the VN. At the end, a new LI was introduced and whirlwinded into the plot, crowding an already crowded grouping. She was one of the best looking, but her introduction didn't really make sense and didn't really do anything to advance the story. The time spent on her and her story line could have been much better spent expanding on the cult theme or one of the other LI's stories.

The VN then came to an abrupt finale, with the main LI suddenly called away and forcing MC to make choices about who he was going to be with after knowing each LI for less than a week of in-VN time.

In the mean-time, the story's nemeses become either fast friends or LIs with MC within a matter of a couple of in-VN days, again, making little sense plot wise.

I think the Dev had a vision, but then lost interest and just ended things abruptly in a rather unsatisfying way. While one did get endings for all LIs, one of the LIs that seemed most devoted to MC was done dirty at the end, with the MC somehow becoming a psychologist in less than a year, apparently marrying the LI, and then using his practice to sex-up his clients behind his wife's back. Dev also did another very sweetly portrayed LI wrong, forcing in a MMF 3-way scene that was required to get the MFF throuple ending.

The outcomes seemingly most beneficial to, or interesting for, the MC also all flow from "jerk" based choices (like the MMF and cheating on the wife). I think this was a weak attempt at trying to portray MC as some kind of uber-alpha, when all it really does is demonstrate how an overgrown child acts, not an actual man.

My guess is that there was real pushback against the Dev when he did Rose wrong with the MMF scene, and he decided to call it quits and forced the ending where it happened. If this is how he story-boarded it the whole time, then he really needs help in developing that aspect of his craft, because it wasn't very well done. Then again, having looked at Dev's other titles and knowing how at least one of them also ended, the abrupt cut-off just may be his MO.

Finally, if you do try this, do not use the Zoey Raven mod on your first play-through. It forces all choices (rather than giving you the choice to see all potential outcomes), primarily recommends the jerk path, and causes you to miss certain solo-path scenes, effectively blocking the ability to play the Chloe solo route while it's installed.

This thing had promise, but it ultimately disappointed.

So, I am going to say that I am not a fan. The story starts alright some porn logic to make it fast but sure. It is alright but cracks show up fast and after two weeks in-game it is the end of the game and that was a shock.

Tbh, there are some huge problems in the game. First of all the girlfriend part is just not needed for the story like at all. It does not add anything but oh well. The writing is alright but you don't feel part of a set place? Like the school is two hours long for one or another reason and everything is rushed to hell. The other girls are good but not great they needed more time to know them.

In the end what really broke me was I was doing several runs at the same time and I was doing the pure girlfriend path I was invited by a dude name Jason and Rose the girl with glasses has a crush on him after you can have a sex scene with her and your girlfriend and they had sex even why you try to stop them. I was like sure I respect that they can do what they want so did the Rose path and you can't stop her and that is just insane to me because it does not go anywhere.

The end is the same it feels rushed you are at camp and then your girlfriend gets a message she needs to go home you can go with and then it ends the other ending are even worse.

It had a alright start but fuck it fell flat on its face at the midway point.

Story like a real cheap porn. The dialogues insult my intelligence. If you want a porn game just to fap this one here works for you. If you're more the type of a human who wants a story like a (Adult Visual) Novel you should play another AVN. MC is dumb as nuts. The girls are one-dimensional. There isn't one moment in this game where you get a feel for the characters. You just can't relate to them as they are just plain, extremely unrealistic. One has the feeling that all students have special needs and need appropriate help and support. To be honest, sex among the mentally handicapped is not my fetish. The graphics are quite good considering the time of their creation and the possibilities at that time.

It is a vanilla romance game with school setting without big drama.

You can play the game in two ways:
1) be a nice and faithful guy
2) be a jerk and mess around with every girl

From the start you are kinda forced into a relationship with the main LI, but, since I liked Chloe, it wasn't a problem for me.
Every lewd scene (except scenes with main Li Chloe) is avoidable, that's a plus.

There was some unavoidable NTR-sh content, potential side Li was fucked right in front of MC (you can have ending with her in a game so I consider her as a potential Li), but again, since I didn't like Rose from the start, it didn't bother me at all.

I liked True Love ending with Chloe (the one where you are faithful and don't cheat on her), it was great.

And here are some Cons:

Animations were a bit annoying sometimes because you can't skip them until it is finished.
Also, I got the idea when the game doesn't show MC's head, BUT, when it cuts also LI's head as well, it sucks, especially during lewd scenes, you just see two beheaded bodies fucking, and it is weird.
Also the whole plot was a bit rushed, I mean, while being on a jerk path, MC literally can fuck the whole bunch of girls just during 1 week, at a very least 8-9 girls if I am not mistaken, including the teacher, I found it a bit unrealistic.

But in general I liked the game. It was relaxing and enjoyable.

This game is just...meh. There's not a lot of drama going on to make you really care about the characters or plot and even when it introduces the cult, that could have been interesting, it ends up not really going anywhere.

A lot of the hot scenes are annoying 2-frame loops that you either have to wait out or repeatedly spam click or tap to be able to speed up.

The ending I received just happened abruptly and wasn't satisfying at all, but I wasn't interested in any of the characters or plot enough to go back and see the other endings. Also looking at the walkthrough, it seems like the endings are stat-locked, so you really have to commit to playing a certain way, to be able to end up with the girl you want, instead of the way I play, which is just pick the choices that make the most sense to me, given the context.

For those reasons, this wasn't really an enjoyable or memorable game for me but definitely not exactly terrible either.

The cultic element is actually explained in Pine Falls' ending when you don't leave.

I've only done the route of the loyal BF and i really liked the story is was one of the best i've played story wise i would give story 5/5 stars I'm gonna hold on to this one and go back and do each route after i've kinda forgotten the story a bit. All the girls look pretty hot the graphics is pretty good i would give a 4/5 stars. but the sex scenes could have been much better with more animations so i give sex scenes a 3/5 stars. But all in all i give a 4/5 stars on the game it's worth the download. I recommend giving it a try.

There's no story in this game, scenes jump from one to another without real bonding between. Animations are meh, taking to long and can't be interrupted.
No stories behind the girls, they are just empty f*ckable shells..

The only thing that validates my 2 stars are the girls, they look good and have realistic bodies. If you're in for only the lewd scenes, then you're good.

For me game is to bland..I've deleted the game before actually finishing it.
First time ever I did this with a 4-star rating game.

I like this game, however I dislike the reptitive sex scene where it is assembled in a way that it plays by frame by frame. Story is nice although I would argue I jumped on this game because of rose and boy the ending with her is nice !

Pretty good scenes. Kinda boring overall and the motions weren't very fluid. It was probably great for something that came out multiple years ago, but the scenes were long, not skippable (if you're not into a particular character) and were prevalent for just about every character in the game.

Meh overall.

quite good game with plenty of girls and plenty of things to do and also different endings depending girl with whom decides to end up so replaying is possible.

game isn't lacking sex and graphics are quite good.

story works from start to end.

The girls are pretty. The renders are good. Some animations are as simple as just two alternating pictures, but many lewd scenes are still engaging.

The story is simple, with its main part lasting about one week, but it's masterfully packed with several relationships, a huge amount of sex and then over seven different endings. Many AVN developers could learn from that.
