Unreal Engine - Completed - Last Hope [v1.0196] [Poolside Games]

Really, really enjoyed this game.

It's very rare to get an NSFW game made in unity of this quality. While it's no AA or AAA beast (obviously), it's still an impressive achievement nonetheless. The game doesn't meander, doesn't drag around player with too many useless tasks and instead has a clear vision and accomplishes it succinctly and successfully.

You start off with a brief intro that, if taken seriously, would make you laugh but the game never pretends to be nothing more but a sex game (yay! finally!). Shortly after the intro you are stranded in space with 3 busty ladies that are not too distinct from one another in terms of personality but distinct enough for the purposes of the game. Basically you have to cum your brains out into jars that fill tanks to progress the game. Why not, I suppose?

The game progresses naturally and rather quickly, there isn't much grinding at all. In-game menu is comfortable and easy to navigate, events are very easy to obtain and it's also easy to understand how to get new ones going.

Graphics are good, not great not terrible. In-game engine works smoothly in sex scenes although I did find camera control to be slightly awkward at times.

Sex scenes are very vanilla, so there's that.

All in all it was a joy to play this game and I commend everyone involved in the project on completing said game and that they didn't get mired in feature creep or scene creep or character creep. Complete game that is very polished that will give you several great evenings to spend gooning after a tiresome day at work.

It's a pretty slow burn. It's easy to progress through due to the in-game guide on which can be accessed, how, and when. The models look good. The animations are just a tad unpolished, but I'd say they're definitely better than average for 3D porn games.

The alien girls should have also been impregnated IMO, but still, great game.
I also think that camera controls could be improved.

To everyone saying that this game is grindy, its absolutely not. It has better checklist and mission log than most games on this website. Definitely gonna invest in the next game from this dev.

Comprehensive game with unique gameplay. The real time play is unique compared to most other games and there are a variety of scenarios/scenes. The rotating schedule combined with the "special" scenes make gameplay engaging.

Great game with innovative 3d style.
Classically silly plot, but it moves things on in an interesting enough way.

I do not know how people are getting reviews in under 200 words but I'd like to know how they've done it as it's a silly rule. I just want to rate the game and now I'm criticizing the review system.

A lot of great scenes to go through. The checklist is super helpful to make sure you get to see everything. Make sure you fly the spaceship and ask the girl to help you by taking pictures early so you don't have to grind that later on.

This game is a 2, a 3 tops and that is because it is one of those grindy AF sandbox games with all the content gated behind GRIND. You will CONSTANTLY be seeing the same scenes, the same environments, and navigating through the same rooms over and over and over and over. The dialogue isn't even changed so you will be forced to slog through the events over and over and over. Your reward for enduring the grind? More grind for more events right afterwards. Repeat this again, and again, and again, and again upwards of 10 times in order to try to unlock everything. That is all you really will be doing here because the story is non existent, it's just the minimal amount of effort to give the setting a reason to exist. The girls are good looking with exaggerated portions, but there is no variety here amongst them. The writing for them is also all over the place. In one moment they will be climbing all over you and then the next they will say I'm busy go bother somebody else. I get that people are rating this a 5 and creaming themselves over it because it's a "game" instead of like a VN ren'py game, but that doesn't make the end result good and this is not good.

I gave the game 5/5 already after like 20min playing and now after finishing the game, I can say that the game is PERFECT for me.

There is not too much grind, all the grind is a loop to get new scenes.
There are a ton of lewd scenes, you don't grind for hours to get a glimpse of a girls boobs and end the game with 6 scenes like a lot of games do.
3 main girls, you slowly corrupt them and have a lot fun with them in different places which upgrades with the time and gets you in threesomes and more.

Devs put a lot of effort to create a nice small ship atmosphere, with trivial but nice "idle" animations, like cooking workout etc.

Sex animations are outstanding, in each animation you can watch in first person as MC or fly in locked cycle around the scenes, MC can be made perfectly semi invisible, where you see the penis but barley the body, I wish each 3D game would have such an option.

After a while you unlock more options for some scenes and you can put the condom on or off accompanied with proper dialogs.
Girls bodies are very similar, all have huge boobs which is a small negative point, could have a bit more variety, but I personally don't care that much, I love big boobs and imo they are not too big in the game.
Their faces are also not very good, but are hot enough, with different hairstyles.
Another pleasant surprise were intractable dreams. Even with some small "puzzles".
And the game has even pregnancy in it, for people who might care, you can even toggle it on or off after beating the game.

Overall, the gameplay is exactly what I wished Subverse would be. Studio FOW's models and animations combined with the gameplay of Last Hope would make an awesome sex game.

I remember this game from its first versions, when the models were still pretty crude and not very attractive. Even then the potential of the game could be seen, even without the quality of life updates.
I can decisively declare this game to be the best 3d h-game that I played.
When thinking about why is that, I came to a very unsatisfying conclusion.

- I don't really like games where the MC is a fucking horny 16 yo.. It is pretty boring and cliche already due to the amount of games that go there.
- It is quite annoying that the most used screen in the game is the schedule tab and it is not the one that opened when opening the tabs menu.
- The love meter is useless. It will get maxed out in like 20% into the game so there is no real point to it.
- At some point, due to the hint system, I was just chasing the next scene and skipping throughout the game - and that became the whole game, just skipping to the next scene. Don’t get me wrong, i'm greatful for the hint system otherwise I would quit the game long ago if I had to trial and error to find all the new content.
- The story is really lame and the characters aren't special. They are pretty stereotypical. The bitchy, the horny and the innocent.
- The game has no real reason to be a 3D "exploration" game because its exploration phase ends pretty fast and you just go from point A to point B to trigger the next scene. It just gives the player a little bit of agency.
- Some old systems like the spy cameras are just useless and there is nothing interesting to see there really, just better approach and interact with the scene instead of looking at it from the camera, but i assume some people have this fetish.

Now all that aside, I still give the game 5 stars which seems absurd to me. The one thing that the game did very well in my opinion was how hot were the scenes. I never played an h-game that nailed the scenes so well and on top of that the models are pretty hot and the animations are silky smooth. All of this combined and it being an incest just made the game worth it through the end.

I have to give it 5/5, one of the best 3d games on unreal engine. It was like a fresh air in the porn games genre. Maybe it lacked a more developed story but overall I really enjoyed the setting. Sex animations were amazing as well, with nice controlls to change POV, scenes also changed depending on how close you were to the girl. Good job, Poolside Games.

Better than any Illusion game. I’m not comparing but Illusion ist just the Titan in sex games. You managed to surpass them and I am now a proud patreon supporter. I pray that this isn’t your last project as I am now a lifelong supporter of poolside games

Awesome game. One of the best I've played in a while. Kept me hooked from start to finish. My only complaint is the quality of the sex scenes isn't the best you will ever see but this game and the sex is so hot you won't care. This game is nearly perfect. Highly recommend to everyone.

This is quite possibly the greatest game on F95. It is the first truly free roam game and you can do everything you want to. It has all my favourite tags, incest, milfs and impregnation. It is also a miracle that a game like this here with this much ambition actually finished development.

This game is very good, solid 4 stars, could've been 5 with a little more polish and QOL features.
The story is interesting, the characters' personalities are good enoguh.
The renders and the scenes are pretty nice, it shows how much potential Unreal Engine games have.
I suggest increasing the brightness to 1.05, I think it's a good compromise boosting night time while also leaving daytime not too bright.
The game has a built in hint system which is well done without being too obvious, the schedule also gives important information about the scenes.
Imho the game should've implemented fast travel between key locations (disabling a location if entering it would trigger a scene, in that case you could teleport to the room next to it and interact to trigger the scene). Running around the ship so many time was probably the most annoying thing.
There are also a few errors here and there where the person talking isn't named correctly.

Overall it's a game I easily recommend.

Last Hope is a very interesting game with a lot of interactivity using unreal engine. You are the newest crew member of a science vessel stranded in space and must help with the fuel while improving the relationship with the other three crew members. Besides that plot, there is also something more insidious happening outside the scope of the protagonist that will slowly unfold and move the story. The devs provided a very complex schedule for daily activities for the girls that you may join in, slowly growing their affection towards you. There is a huge amount of scenes, each with multiple variations and even free camera options, something uncommon. All the girls have their own personality and method of progression with some light repetition mechanics that are not much needed to improve your progress with them. This game does not need grind to progress the relationship stages, they happen quite naturally as you explore new interactions. As the days goes by you will get more and more scenes with the girls, repeating certain actions that were previously locked and going further in the scene. The models are very pretty with impressive detailed textures. Except for their hair that has the typical unreal clipping problem. Every scene is animated using the Unreal Engine mechanics, and albeit it does not look spectacular they are good enough to be miles above the average game. There is even extra content in dream sequences unrelated to the girls and an array of clothing you can get to them. Last Hope does what it proposes masterfully, this is definitely a recommended game that will entertain you for a long time if you want to unlock all the content in it.

Before you play: Go into settings and make your game brighter. I only realized after i finished that i didnt have to look at dark almost blacked out faces.

Now for the review.

This game is very good. I like the story and i didnt encounter a single bug which says a lot about a game on this site.

The scenes are alright but to few in my opinion. I also didnt like the cum texture. To bright, almost cartoonish. But all in all the scenes are alright.

There are some mistakes in the dialog that annoyed me a lot. The missing punctuation marks are a strange decision but can be ignored. What was worse is that sometimes the characters names display wrong which you realize only after reading taking you out of the Scene. Stuff like the MC saying that he enjoys the feeling of dick sliding in him. That gets me to chuckle but they are still mistakes that should have been fixed in the many updates.

All in all its a great game although not perfect.

This game is exelent. I loved having to save the world with my semen. All of these babes just asking to be filled up it's just amazing. Good work you got me there. I would have loved it too much if there was some mouse control or interractivities during H Scene. I would have been amazing to be able to Hand touch the girls here and there and get reactions. Would like to tug on those clothes

TLDR Good game


I've not been a fan of Unity for adult games. Somehow this game is an exception. There are a few glitches here and there, like the bathrobe and the apron not clipping, but those are things that you can ignore.

The story is simple but you can see that there's a lot of effort put into this game. I just hope there were a bit more explanation on some of the mechanics like the drone and what it does.

Overall, this is a game that you can have a lot of fun with and even if you take away the adult content, this can still be a standalone game of its own.
