Unreal Engine - Completed - Last Hope [v1.0174] [Poolside Games]

One of the best dating games I've played. Great models, hot content, Gameplay loop isn't too grindy and keeps you fed the whole way. Would like to lean into more interesting fetish content but that's just a personal preference. No other notes, very well polished.

Game is great no problems from beginning to end the story is kinda boring besides that game is great each girl has a decent personality scenes are great you can view them in first and third person only complaint is you cant change fov my favorite part is the pregnancy can be played with pretty much every scene of the three main girls in the epilogue would definitely recommend.

The schedule showing clearly what events still contain scenes or not was greatly appreciated and helped cut down on the usual repetitive guessing game of 'talk to every npc everywhere at every time of day to find out how to get to the next scene.'

The freedom you had with your character made it actually genuinely feel like a game. Many 'Adult Games' are essentially picture books with minimal choices.

The progression was quick enough to be satisfying but believable enough to be immersive.

Really appreciate the ability to choose which scenes you participate in and consistent themes throughout the game.

By far one of my favorite Adult Games of all time.

Last Hope by Poolside Games is truly phenomenal! I am completely and utterly addicted to playing it without fail every single day after I finish my work shift. The game is just so unbelievably fantastic and captivating! I absolutely adore the challenging puzzles, the stunning graphics, and the immersive storyline. It serves as the ideal form of escapism after a tiring day, and I simply cannot seem to get my fill of it. Massive congratulations to Poolside Games for crafting such an extraordinary gaming experience that has completely captured my attention and admiration!

This game has tons of good things so I will start with the only "bad thing" there was for me, the camera. Game featureas a FP POV and an external one, in some scenes, the camera is difficult to manage and place in some angles.

Now for the good part,

Story (incredibly) 10/10 It's not very complex and a bit absurd, but for this kind of game it suits it perfectly.
Models 10/10
Gameplay 9/10 A bit grindy at the start, but you allways have something to see or do.

A good, complete, hot game with a sufficient level of content, great job! Personally, I didn’t have enough sex with aliens, scientific and technological revolution content and, in general, more diverse fetishes.
An interesting theme with rooms on an alien ship seems underdeveloped, perhaps there should be more of them and richer content, but in terms of vanilla sex, the game will satisfy everyone.
The future character customization system announced by the author looks interesting so as not to look so exaggerated.
Overall a solid, good game, bravo to the author!

One of the best games on this website. Plot is simple and silly but serviceable, gameplay loop is easy to understand. Most importantly, girls are hot and graphics are absolutely beautiful.

However, it is reasonably slow-burn. It is supposed to add realism: you don't suddenly go 0 to 100 with your own family, you need to work a bit for that. It is somewhat connected to another feature of this game, which can very well be a pro or con, depending on who we ask: grinding.

There are two types of grinding in games: one which is unnecessary hurdle designed to artificially stretch playtime, and one which improves pacing of the story, makes you appreciate result you've worked for. The distinction between them is completely subjective. For me, the amount of grinding in Last Hope is okay and it does improve overall experience.

TLR Must play.

I got an impression from this game, which is similar to that of the SummtimeSaga. Very flexible choices availble for h-gamers who sought to make own decisions without reading walkthroughs. And with very few errors which are very common in h-games.

While the game has a lot of potential, what keeps it from rising above the rest and being something truly special is its length. It's extremely short. Rooms small to explore and some frustrating and buggy camera angles in some scenes. I recommend, but don't expect anything special.

This game is very beautiful. Does anyone know if there will be an update? Because it could be even better. The characters in the game can react according to your clothes, and most of them don't even exist in the game. These cutscenes are not bad, judging by the NPCs, the development part is a bit boring (that is, the relationship-enhancing parts), the cutscenes are quite nice, I will definitely buy the game (I think it is excellent).

I can't with clear conscience give this game 3 stars, but at the same time giving it 4 feels bad too and I only do that because of how much effort was put into this game.

Models are hot, story is just a porn plot, mechanics and how the game works in general is really neat and feels pretty good, but while these things are impressive from a technical standpoint, they don't make it a good porn game.

The gameplay loop is really tedious because of how slow things are moving in this game (literally and figuratively) - walking in a 3d space and waiting on other characters is a pain, sex scenes are really, REALLY samey for the most part (at least they feel samey), constantly checking menu for what to do next is vomit inducing, even if the dev really made it almost as good of a system as it could be it still just shouldn't exist if the game flow was intuitive and many, many more small design issues that pile up to sour the experience.

My last and biggest gripe is sex scenes, in late stages of the game scenes are full, complete and pretty good, but before that point these scenes were played in parts so I've seen first half of each scene 5 times at this point and almost completely lost interest.

Ehh, after writing that last paragraph I'm pulling it down to 3 stars, it's 7/10 but there is no rating like this so it is what it is.

One of the best sex games ever (for a straight guy). The game banner/cover may not appeal so much but while the 3D models turn out decent (great naked bodies), the story, gameplay and sex content will turn you on and drain you like an industrial drainage system.

This game don't have 50 girls in it, so you don't have to go through 47 boring girls to finally get to the ones that matter, Mom, Sis and Aunt.
Don't get me wrong, even with 3 girls you'll get a lot of great sex scenes.
I had a lot of fun with this one, and many lonely nights weren't that lonely anymore.
I highly recommend this game, it's sometime a little annoying to force yourself to play the game with one hand (two hands are required for this game) but knowing what's waiting at the end, it is worth it 100%.

If this were implemented as a RenPy sandbox VN, it'd probably be sitting at around 3 stars, maybe 4. However, it being fully animated and allowing for free-roaming does boost things substantially, but make no mistake - the game is still essentially a sandbox VN in almost all of its mechanics, and this includes some predictable weaknesses:

- Girls follow standard WEG archetypes: You have your MILF, the bratty sister, and the horny aunt. There are a few other girls but they are sorta disconnected from everything else in a way that represents feature bloat.

- The plot is almost non-existent, and to the extent it does exist it is rather silly. But that's okay, I'd rather have a silly plot that I can ignore than a stupid one that wastes a lot of time.

- There is a bit of feature bloat but the core experience of the game is there and can be pursued without engaging the bloat. I mostly have in mind the money-collection minigame, which I didn't even realize was fully implemented until the postgame since it is just not relevant. There are also some random activities like setting up spycams that technically exist I guess but do not seem to have any payoff. I guess if the intention was to *not* have this come off as bloat it should've been integrated into the main game more clearly, where there are progression gates around buying items or using spycams. The same could be said of any of the activities on the "other ship" - it's technically there but if you're trying to follow the mainline progression you probably will not engage with it much.

- The game relies heavily on the sandbox VN formula of having each girl have a schedule, where you can interact with them doing certain activities in scripted ways that have a few choices (and more choices are unlocked as intimacy deepens.) I did like the mechanic that let you influence their schedules and set up the events that you want to see. Progression is simple enough to achieve, and doesn't require much grinding, but there are moments when it's unclear what specific choices you need to make to see each scene. A nice QOL feature would be is if it showed clearly what the scene is that you can achieve even before you've done it.

- The game basically has a placeholder ending. I'm not saying it needs one exactly, since long ending scenes are often annoying, and the real "ending" is being able to unlock some postgame scenes, but maybe those should be more rewarding and/or give closure to the game?

Those are some particular points but the headline point stands: Mechanically/gameplay wise, this is basically a sandbox VN. Not a great one, but a competent one that doesn't waste your time. But the fully 3d implementation is so welcome that it deserves 5 stars.

Finally after searching long and and hard I found a decent sleep sex game aside from that the the game mechanism is easy to follow the graphics are fairly good the models are not perfect but good I would’ve worked more on feet and nails a bit the game play time is good not a 30 min top game you can play hours and still have new content all in all compared to many games I played I enjoyed this a lot thank you dev

Really, really enjoyed this game.

It's very rare to get an NSFW game made in unity of this quality. While it's no AA or AAA beast (obviously), it's still an impressive achievement nonetheless. The game doesn't meander, doesn't drag around player with too many useless tasks and instead has a clear vision and accomplishes it succinctly and successfully.

You start off with a brief intro that, if taken seriously, would make you laugh but the game never pretends to be nothing more but a sex game (yay! finally!). Shortly after the intro you are stranded in space with 3 busty ladies that are not too distinct from one another in terms of personality but distinct enough for the purposes of the game. Basically you have to cum your brains out into jars that fill tanks to progress the game. Why not, I suppose?

The game progresses naturally and rather quickly, there isn't much grinding at all. In-game menu is comfortable and easy to navigate, events are very easy to obtain and it's also easy to understand how to get new ones going.

Graphics are good, not great not terrible. In-game engine works smoothly in sex scenes although I did find camera control to be slightly awkward at times.

Sex scenes are very vanilla, so there's that.

All in all it was a joy to play this game and I commend everyone involved in the project on completing said game and that they didn't get mired in feature creep or scene creep or character creep. Complete game that is very polished that will give you several great evenings to spend gooning after a tiresome day at work.

It's a pretty slow burn. It's easy to progress through due to the in-game guide on which can be accessed, how, and when. The models look good. The animations are just a tad unpolished, but I'd say they're definitely better than average for 3D porn games.

One of the best games around.
The alien girls should have also been impregnated IMO, but still, great game.
I also think that camera controls could be improved.

To everyone saying that this game is grindy, its absolutely not. It has better checklist and mission log than most games on this website. Definitely gonna invest in the next game from this dev.

Comprehensive game with unique gameplay. The real time play is unique compared to most other games and there are a variety of scenarios/scenes. The rotating schedule combined with the "special" scenes make gameplay engaging.
