RPGM - Completed - Lattice SOS! ~Happening&Panic~ [Final] [Atelier Choice]

This is a classic RPGM game in term of gameplay, you have an ATB system similar to Final Fantasy, but nothing spectacular.
The game is really easy and you really don't need to strategize to beat it. The good point is that you don't need to grind either, I dodged most of the encounters and I finished the game just fine.

The story is simple but pretty cute and light hearted. You follow two friends on their journey, Lattice and Enao. You will travel around and do some quests to advance the story. This is not a sandbox or open game, the story is linear.

Regarding H content, it's okay.
I really like the unique cute artstyle of this game, so this is a really good point for me.
Lattice get most of the scenes, since she is the protagonist. There is a lot of reused scenes with only a change in clothes.
Unfortunately, there is only 4 sex scenes for Lattice (3 of which are tied with the story) and 1 for Enao (a bad ending).
I feel like the game could benefit from letting more liberty to the player regarding H-scenes, and give more H-scenes to Enao, which is canonically still a virgin at the end of the story even if you do all her H-scenes.
Also, give clothes variations to Enao since Lattice is the only one who can change clothes outside of events.

Well, the game is OK. I would give it 3.5 since it's pretty cute and the story is still enjoyable despite being simple. It's a pretty short game, so it's good if you are bored one day and want a small friendship story.

//RPGM. Super simple and easy configuration. Very little exp required to level up.
\\Leveling up will fully restore hp/mp.
//Can select combat type in the settings, full turn-based or action mode.
\\Can skip combat animation by pressing ctrl key.
//Mobs are so weak, they are no challenge at all. (By my standards, at least.)
\\Should learn all available skills when you hit level 14-15. About level 15-20 will ensure completion of this game.


*Art/Sex Art.
\\Cute high-quality art, anime style. (Medium-quality sex art though.)
//Very expressive art. Adora-overload. (Not in sex scenes though.)
\\Permanent standing model. (Can switch modes.)
//Standing model is semi-animated.
\\No sex animation.
//Cross-sectional view in sex scenes. (Some of it is sloppily done though, or was broken by TL or dev.)
\\There are various clothes for the girls to try out. (Or modifications for their default clothes hehe.)

*Translation Quality.
Readable: 5/10
Sloppy job, and i'm probably being rather generous here. There are typos, untranslated text, and other mistakes.
Some parts of the game may have been broken during TL and then left unrepaired.
And i think i even found some trolling in the text, like calling Lattice La-Latti..
Anyway, not really dev fault so this mess will not affect stars.

*Hints.
\\F4 to full-screen. (F3 to regulate picture size further when in full-screen mode.)

\\Mouse control supported.
//Can skip text by pressing ctrl key.
\\Dash can be enabled in the settings.
//Combat speed can be regulated in the settings. (I recommend keeping it at 5 in full turn-based mode.)
\\Some spirits can block paths, but you can tell them to 'get lost' and thus be able to move forward.
//Revisit places you've been to from time to time, new events may have opened up there.
\\Talking to npc's while wearing different clothes will yield different reactions.


*Afterword.
Lighthearted, a bit silly and a bit funny.
At times can even be a little dramatic.
And yet, also sufficiently lewd for a bit of extra fun. (Not too much fun though, there aren't a ton of scenes and they're rather light.. excluding just one bad end.)
This game is rather relaxing, just the thing if you feel like perving on chill mode.
The whole game is basically an event hunting sim so challenge, deep story seekers, and hardcore content enjoyers, will likely be disappointed with the offerings here. Nevertheless, have fun~

Went into this with high expectations after reading what everyone else has been saying about it. Unfortunately, I can't give the same glowing review. It should be noted that I used a full save to explore after losing interest a couple of hours in. Translation was more or less on point as far as I could tell, so good job TL-san.

Story is nothing special. The events are cute and I appreciate the consistency in light-hearted tone, but the presentation felt off for a porn game and the comedy fell flat half the time. The scenes are also kinda meh in terms of diversity and writing, artistic and fetish-related preferences aside. Music is nice, but not enough to carry the game or be otherwise noteworthy.

The gameplay (combat) isn't actually good, it's just... different. It felt just as much of a time-waster when fighting whatever I ran into, and skipping everything but the necessary battles didn't really give me any sense of accomplishment or challenge. Battles don't suddenly become engaging or interesting because the dev decided to use ATB if the winning strategy still boils down to auto-battle.

In conclusion, the game is far from terrible or even bad, but despite the clear effort put into it, the experience as a whole barely rates above average for me.

I wasn't expecting this game to be this good.
Fight's are very well done for rpgm. They are pretty short so they don't stand in a way. I liked the "turn timer" loading and the fact that monsters can keep attacking if player does nothing.
Dialogues are well thought, other then making scenarios in which the main girls get pounded, they are believable. I really enjoyed it. They feel like characters not sprites with boobs.
Another great thing about this game is ART. It's very clean and cute. Not my number 1 but I still rate it very highly. It reminds me of INUSUKU's art.
There are about 30 scenes (not counting variant's) some of them are not very interesting (peeing just showing boobies) most of them are pretty solid and hot.

I can recommend this game to about anyone who likes character design of main girls.

Usually these kinds of rpg maker games have a half-baked combat system that they somehow love to force the player down to pad out the game length.
This game doesn't seem preoccupied with the combat but it doesn't shy away from letting you engage in it a bit too. (or avoid it should you be impatient)

I want to give this 5 stars not because it is the best you'll ever see, or it re-invents the wheel in terms of making an rpg maker game that's interesting. I just think it deserves a 5/5 rating because it kept my attention all the way through with interesting stuff and little details they didn't need to add.

The world isn't super big, but as far as rpg maker games go that don't do something like Karryn's prison this is a very short but sweet experience. Perfect in what it sets out to do and it respects your time.

Definitely worth checking.
Characters are cute and sexy. MC have some choice of clothes and NPC react differently to each one. There is no unnecessary grind.

Also Translator made great work with this game. Its feels professional, for once without usual "oaks" or "bread bread bread"
I can only wish every such good game could get proper translation.

This is the first game from this dev that i've played, and the style sure grown on me.
Character interactions are cute and light-hearted, art is great, gameplay is nothing special, but not a chore to play. Story is interesting, and I really like that everything in this game is just cute and adorable.

Surprisingly deep! I'd recommend spending a little more time on this one if you're normally the type of person to skip through dialogue. None of the discussions are particularly long, but the translation is well done and I really enjoyed the somehow-wholesome characters despite the subject.

It manages to juggle the line between 'corruption' without veering too far into the doom & gloom, and while I normally enjoy the darker ones, this one was a great change of pace. The main characters don't lose their sense of self as it goes on, with the result being a heartwarming tale of friendship interspersed with sexy funtimes.

Some of the CGs are a little more limited than I'd like, but if you enjoy the art style from the previews then you'll find a good amount of well-drawn CGs.

Definitely a hidden gem to me!

Seeing as I proofread the game this might also be a tad biased but it's a nice game. The game has alot of scenes to view which is always nice to see. If you go for all/most of the scenes it'll take you a decent amount of time to play this game so the game is by no means short.

Reviewing this game as the one who worked on translating it. So my opinion may be a bit biased. But basically this is a nice light hearted H game with an amusing story and a wide variety of H scenes. There are a decent amount of outfits, all of which affect NPC dialogue. It's average in terms of length for an H game(4 hours roughly) but there is a surprising amount of depth.
