If the characters are supposed to be mostly realistic (which they are imo), I doubt that is the case. Even when in shock because it being a serious fight, she would've tried either to use her skills like she would during her lessons/exams (but most likely fail), or she would be too much in shock to be able to do anything. Someone with those two black belts would not simply jump on someone's back trying to choke him, that isn't a move learned in either judo or karate.
Mister Maya missed an opportunity for comedy gold with the fight scene.
just imagine : Aurora get's sucker punch and fell onto the ground , Mc start fighting against D.bag #1 and when Mc is beating D.bag #1 , D.bag #2 and #3 decide to join the fight by sucker punching Mc and when Mc it's on the ground Aurora stand up and showed us her black belt skill by going honey badger on D.bag #2 and #3 asses .
after getting their asses beat D.bag #2 and #3 got scare of Aurora , decide to leave behind D.bag #1 and try to escape as fast as they can just to collide with Victor , now Victor start cracking his Knuckles looking down on them and them cut to the scene where Mc is stop by Victor.
for some reason Aurora and MC relationship reminds of 1 single season of a spin off anime that i loved till this day !
