Yeah I remember locking on Olive in the prologue and still love her. I like pretty much everyone, Miranda climbed up the ranks, Rose and Elsa are still near the top for me, but all the girls are amazing in this game, its hard to choose.

I do hope we get a little more focus on Olive in episode 3, just so she gets a little more spotlight like other girls have in previous episodes.

I'd argue that Olive got quite a bit of focus in EP 2 for an LI that isn't the type to instantly go lewd. If anything, Selena, Danielle, and Sana need a focus in the next episode. Danielle due to her late introduction, Sana because we don't have a lot of info about her situation with Viktor, and Selena...I didn't even know she was an LI at first given how little we get.
Olive in comparison gets all the confidence lessons, her photography being needed at the party, and she even gets a wholesome chapter end sandwiched between two lewd ends if you don't want Taylor or Aurora.

Don't get me wrong, I'm down for more of any of them, but I don't feel that Olive is lacking in content yet.

Meanwhile I been replaying Episode 1 on and off for like 4 days about to start Ep 2 soon. lol getting sick slowed me down more than I thought

Hello everyone,
Last week was pretty productive, with a lot happening during the development of this third episode.
First of all, thanks to the help of someone on Discord, I've been upgrading several character skins and transitioning them from G8 to G8.1. If you're unfamiliar with these terms, it basically means I've upgraded the characters to a newer generation of 3D models, which offers better skin quality and more assets, particularly for facial expressions, where G8.1 really shines. I'm very happy with this upgrade since it's something I probably wouldn't have done myself. The difference in skin quality is like night and day. I'd love to share some pictures, but I haven't rendered them yet as my queue is currently busy.
Speaking of the queue, I'll be building the third rig tomorrow or Wednesday, as the final component is set to arrive tomorrow. It's a bit late, about a month behind schedule, but at least I'll finally have that third rig ready to work!
I'm really looking forward to getting the new rig up and running, especially since I'm going to receive new animations from the animator I work with and created a couple myself.
On the topic of animations, I'm now working on the final scene of DAY 2 in the game, which also happens to be a lewd scene. That means even more animations are on the way. I'm particularly excited about this one because I feel my creativity and skills have improved, and I have some ideas that, if I can make work, will result in an incredible scene. I've planned 11 different animations for this scene, though the total might go up to 16 or 17 depending on how many angles I decide to render for each animation. (Yeah, I know, I'm a bum dev and I'm really milking the animations.)
Now, for some numbers:
  • 642 static story images
  • 26 animations
  • 14 scenes fully written
While this might seem like a slower week in terms of output, it certainly didn't feel that way. Almost every render I've created has been complex, requiring significant time to pose. In my opinion, they turned out great. Let's say I made 105 quality renders this week. I also completed two more animations and am now working on the final scene of DAY 2, so overall, it's been a solid week. All of this has been accomplished in just five weeks, which is very encouraging. I believe I'm making good progress.
Unfortunately, DAY 4 and DAY 5 each contain a massive scene, so I'll be stuck working on those for quite a while.
On another note, I'll be away for four days next week due to unforeseen events, so I'll only be able to work on the script during that time. It's not such a bad thing since the render queue is already getting quite large, and I could use a short break from 3D work. Stepping back for a few days always helps me return refreshed and more productive.
That's all for this update! Work is going well, and I'm confident it'll keep improving.
Back to work for me! In the meantime, I wish you all a fantastic week.

6 months late reply but first time playing this and the scene in Episode 1 with Caroline is absurd for all the reasons you've mentioned. Really hope the dev tweaks the dialogue this or allows for a future option to let the protagonist tell her to piss off. I laughed when she threatens the MC and then doesn't want the library to be open because 'I know how students can be'. This is the only reaction I had after that entire exchange:

In my understanding, sort of yeah. Selfless is "generally" more the nice/light/friendly path/approaches, with the inverse being the selfish. It's not 100%, and there are also 'neutral' girls as well.

It feels more like a Paragon/Renegade situation on this game, to tell the truth. That also is more in-tune with the theme of the game, of course.

I guess we need to see more of the story and how he uses both paths to judge, for me right now I consider him either being Selfless or Assertive because even on the selfish path the protagonist seems too nice to be considered selfish.

Thats unfortunate really liked your last game but since i really only play harem games now unless its a game i had been following for some time and iv even dropped alot of those likely wont try this

Yeah, that is a fair point. It is early to tell. More of choices between: 1) I want to become the best lawyer to use my "powers" to help people; versus 2) I want to become the best lawyer in the country for myself. Kind of like all being on the Good alignment in DnD, with varying degrees of goodness.

I'll be more interested in how the LIs will do their "assessments" of the LI. And how a subtle different in language (helping others or be the best, for example) that'll affect the gating of them. That's where my biggest concern lies for the game. It seems kind of arbitrary that someone would "lock out" because you are a bit too selfish or selfless, or aren't balancing the neutral line properly.

Going on as full of a Selfless path as I was able to, I was still able to kiss Aurora, visit her dorm, go on the movie date and fool around, have the deep conversation on the train ride home, and she still stands up to stop the alcohol from coming into the party. So not sure how I see where the gating will come in, in a way that makes sense. "Oh MC, sorry, you made a few too many selfless choices, and I'm neutral, so we are locked out now." just seems like an odd conversation to have no matter how you word it.
