A man who catches a Shikigami could win everything...but risks his very soul. In the very near future, in the city of Demon Tokyo, a powerful Shikigami Master named Jango lives amidst the bustling insanity of the city. Does anybody know how this 90s-ish drawing style of Anime/Hentai is called? Is there a real term?
As far as I know there's no term for it, the general art style just kinda changes over time. I've looked for this in the past and have only found it to be categorized by decade. Would love to know if there is a term though.

In Japan, the art-style is called Lolicon/Bishoujo (ロリコン/美少女). The Japanese definition of Lolicon is not to be confused with the mostly/completely incorrect western definition. Back in the 1980s, there was something Japanese historians call the 'ロリコンブーム' (Lolicon Boom) where this style blew up in popularity. If you want to learn about this in English, you can look up the academic works by Patrick W. Galbraith.

It hasn't been released yet, but there's going to be a book called 'Erotic Comics in Japan: An Introduction to Eromanga' out this December. Unfortunately, it has a 124 USD price tag despite the fact you can purchase Nagayama Kaoru's 'Ero Manga Studies' (エロマンガ・スタディーズ) for 946 JPY if you can read Japanese.

Mercy Rabbit (マーシー兎) did the original illustrations for this game, and he still posts on Twitter and Pixiv. You can visit his galleries if the way he draws faces and eyes is what you find appealing. However, if you meant the computer graphic style of PC98 games like this one, then that's wholly due to the work of what are known as Graphicers (グラフィッカー). Multiple companies would often hire the same Graphicers, so even if there are different original illustrators with their own styles, their styles are nevertheless converted to the styles of the Graphicers with the limitations of the computers and tools they used back in those days. You can find more of this by searching for 'エロゲ+PC98'.

In any case, there isn't any specific words to describe Mercy Rabbit's style specifically other than Bishoujo/Lolicon/Moe (美少女/ロリコン/萌え). Every artist has their own drawing style in this category, so the most you can do is base things on time periods (e.g. 1990年代 エロゲ).

WOW, a big THANK YOU for this very informative post! I didn't even remember I asked this question. It has been a while ;)
This would be a perfect fit for some sort of Anime/Manga FAQ tbh :)
