RPGM - Legend of Queen Opala: Origin [v3.25] [SweGabe]

Well to me it is one of the Western all time classics hentai games maybe has a bit too much fighting and rpg elements and plays slow due to its rpg maker roots but the artwork is amazing (and it has many different ones also depending on the playthrough offers different ones for differing tastes), it is very much on a bestiality rough note with some other fetisches but this is already the 3rd game so most who know the series are aware. I rated it 5s even if it probably isn't 5s towards todays standard but i saw it averaged 3,5 which just doesn't feel right for it's volume legacy and beloved characters. Never finished this one though but looking through the cg is satisfying aswell had lots of fun with the2nd .

Terrible series of games. Extremely ancient RPGM engine (can not update it to modern RPGM because RPGM has shit backwards compatibility), typical grindy walking simulator with bad combat that you have come to expect from bad RPGM games. Horrible resolution. only way to play on a modern monitor is to alt-enter to see in full screen which turns squares into rectangles. No quality of life features like text fast forward.
The game series share a universe but are not really related. You are not supposed to play them in order. For each game the other 2 games are not canon.
Here is how the games differ:

LoQO1 you play as Jake (or custom name) who goes to Egypt and fucks the trio of gabe's characters (Queen Opala, Good Princess, Evil Princess). With options on romance or dominance. You can even end up as king and the evil princess as your sex slave. The game has no art to go with the sex scenes that happen in the game.
What it does have is husky voice over by a woman who reads these porn lines to you. So wear headphones during the sex scenes.
I overall had a positive reaction to it at the time due to how small the scene was way back in the day. But it did not age well.
I finished the game but not the scavenger hunt.

The only art in that game is a stupid tedious scavenger hunt that awards you with a literal gallery of random mismatched fan art of your waifus fucking animals, getting raped, or getting gangbanged. None of it involves you in any way, as it is not actually art made for this game. It is non canon and predates the game, and you can just download it all from the appropriate sites.

LoQO2 you play as Kai (or custom name). It is a total bait and switch. They pair you up with a "lesbian best friend" who is actually a horrible friend. I expected to help each other score, but instead she is constantly cucking you. You are very clearly playing as her sidekick, you are not the main character of the story. But wait there is more, she isn't the only one. Everyone and everything else is fucking your waifus too.
Now there are 3 art styles you can choose from... Western, Eastern, and Clean. But they are not actually complete. So no matter what you choose you will have some scenes that have no illustration.

There are barely any scenes involving you. Almost all scenes are cucked. Also if you grind the affection points of your "harem" your reward are... trading cards of them getting raped, blacked, gangbanged, or fucked by horses and dogs. dev went into damage control mode and clarified that those pictures are not canon... which for some reason you are awarded with for after grinding affection with "your" harem?

LoQO3 aka "LoQO Origins". Now has a whopping 5 art styles to choose from. You can choose multiple looks for the MC, including 3 different type of furry (each with a different animal cock). 2 art styles are not available for human MC. 2 art styles are not available for furry MC.

You are "devon" or custom name. Again bait and switch. Very first scene has the MC having sex in a dominant manner. It sets the tone and makes you expect an MC focused game like LoQO1. But like in LoQO2 expect to see your girls getting raped, gangbanged, cheating on you, or being fucked by horses and dogs. There are also some false choices, like being asked if you want bestiality and if you say no then it still happens anyways.

A few hours into the game, one of your party members points out how horny your dog is, and you're given the chance to either say that sometimes you have threesomes with your dog, or to say that your dog is excitable but you don't let him into the bedroom with you.

"OK, cool," I thought, "It's good that the game is asking me if I want to enable bestiality content, even if it's being a little subtle about it."

But, no. Saying you have threesomes with your dogs predictably results in a threesome with your dog. If you say "no, actually, I prefer my sex to involve as few dogs as possible," then instead a sex scene with the MC is interrupted by a scene of your dog forcing himself on another party member while that party member is listening to you have sex. There's simply no way to say "No dog-fucking, please!" The latter scene is technically avoidable, but only if you leave that party member to get raped by half a dozen wolfmen, and the game doesn't telegraph these consequences in the slightest.

Legend of Queen Opala: Origin is a game that is wearing its fetishes on its sleeve three or four hours in, which is way longer than it should take for a game that is as enamored with bestiality as it is.

This game is in my top 3 for hentai games. Keep that in mind. I love this game even though I haven't played the previous games. This is how I feel about the game in my honest opinion after playing through it 2 times. I truly hope somehow Gabe sees this and I do not mean for this to be mean in any way. I just need to put this review out so others see this and know what they are getting into by downloading this game.

My Positives

-The art is fucking amazing. Go with the international version where the art is made my SethXZoe, and you're gonna love all the scenes with his art. It's really the selling point for playing the game and most likely the only reason you're looking to play to begin with.

-Captivating story that actually is fun to follow.

-The characters are unique, have their own unique personalities and styles and are easy to get attached to. My personal top 3 characters are Laquadia, Lynevere and Beatrix (take a guess why ).

-The little amount of voice acting in the game is great, especially Laquadia's VA, I was surprised when I heard it and I was depressed when I stopped hearing it.

-World building and setup for the future of the story is amazing, especially once you get to the issue with Lynevere and a certain promise you can make to her, I'm excited to see where that goes.

My Negatives

-Takes a long time for updates, which is one of the major turn offs for this game, as you will see in the thread. This game has almost taken a decade to make and it even runs on an old engine. If you care most about the story you will feel depressed looking at the weekly updates on Gabe's blog. If you care most about the art being upgraded IE a scene that get's drawn in SethXZoe's style, it's a little more hopeful. Fact of the matter is you will wait up to 2 months for a single update and even if you track all the weekly updates from Gabe it feels like you're gonna get a lot and you get hyped, but when the update drops you get through the content in 10 minutes.

-Beyond bland combat, won't leave an impact on you and you will try your hardest to rush through fights. This isn't even that bad considering most RPGM games are just like this. If you are a fan of RPGMs you'll be used to this.

-Grinding is hell so you're better off opening a save editor to enjoy the game more. Again, similar to most RPGM games.

-So many art styles that it seems like a waste of money commissioning them since SethXZoe is the best.

-Old engine, you need the mod in order to change basic settings

-tent/bed scenes are repetitive and are the same sprite animations, gets old after a while

-renegade and heroic decisions feel pointless

-MC doesn't get nearly as much action with the women as the monsters do

-You fuck your dog

-The questing system is horrible, we need a better way of knowing WHAT to do, WHEN to do it, and WHERE to go to do it. Currently, as of 3.14 if you don't have the guide and follow it perfectly, you will get extremely lost. I did a walkthrough and had times where I had to go back on my channel and look at where I left off and what mission I had to do next because I had no idea what was going on.

-Mirror of memories aka the scene replayer is really sloppy, it's just crystal balls scattered around and you have to guess which one is a certain character's scene.

-Side quests are boring and isn't worth the effort unless there is a scene to be gained.

My Hopes

-I hope we get more consistent updates to the story and more SethXZoe scenes, although since it has to do with money I can't say "Just get more money"

-New engine

-Cleaner Scene replay, probably like most RPGM games that have the character's sprite, then options for their scenes when you click on them possibly. At the very least I don't want to have to guess who I'm clicking on.

-More voice acting, seriously even if it's just all of Laquadia's voice lines acted that goes a long way, having an Hgame with voice acting already sets it above others.

-Let the MC fuck more than the monsters, a lot of scenes for me (especially the osira one) felt odd because a monster is included when they don't really need to be, and it feels like we finally get a scene with our MC solo fucking the woman but he's.... just there.

-Have Heroic and Renegade paths actually effect the story, if you plan on having multiple endings there needs to be a point where your choice ACTUALLY matters.

-Spend less time making collectable cards and lewd boxes and focus more on the actual art for the game and the story, I guarantee you nobody gets hyped for picking up the hundredth card of tentacles crawling down someone's mouth. We get hyped for scenes and good story.

-Finally, please please PLEASE listen to your fans who fund this game with their donations and patreon subs. I don't know about the drama too well but I hear that Gabe prefers to include monster rape because it's her own fetish, rather than listening to the people who keep this game funded and have the MC get more spotlight. Everyone here knows that a dev should always listen to the fans and even if they don't see their criticisms as valid, acknowledge them. Talk to us, at the very least say you plan on doing this, you wanna go in this direction with the game, etc. Please talk to us and don't shut us out when we make valid criticisms.



I made this review because I started playing in November 2021 and I didn't realize how slow the progress was on this game, I wish I didn't play so I could wait for the game to be 100% done and do 1 solid full walkthrough, but that's not possible now. Each update I come back and make an update video where I struggle to recall what even happened in the last and where we are in the story. To top it off, each update video I do either only has 1 new scene, a bunch of new random cards nobody cares about, or enough story content for a 10 minute playthrough. This game will not finish at this rate. I do not wanna see an Hgame that I have in my top 3 die in such an embarrassing way. As of now we're on version 3.14 and I can only give this a 3 star rating. It can easily hit 4 stars if some those negatives get stomped out, some of them being really minor.



Update: It's 12/21/22, the version is now 3.17.

My biggest question has been answered. Gabe told me that SethXZoe works on his own schedule, meaning god only knows when an update will hit with an international scene being added. If you mainly care for artwork, you already know that the international version is the best one, and in all honesty, it's the only style that should be in the game. The problem is going many months without a new scene, and whenever an update does drop it's about 20 minutes worth of main story content and a large part of Gabe's time goes into mini games, and collectibles which should be something they focus on once the game is actually complete imo. I'm dropping the game to a 2 star simply because of the lack of main story progression since 3.14. I truly enjoy the story so I would recommend anyone curious to wait until the game is fully done, and if you're only interested in the artwork then just go to rule 34 and look at it there. Playing through the game just to see the amazing art is not worth it when there are still scenes missing for the international style and the inconsistent international updates.



Update: It's 3/1/2023, the version is now 3.18.

It took 3 months for the next update however I will add 1 star on because Gabe has obviously changed. At the beginning of 2023 Gabe announced that they will finish the game this year, and after that announcement, each weekly update has had more content and is more clear about what they want to do with the game. Whether you believe the game will finish within the year or not, our first update gave us many new pieces of art from the Laquadia scene (best girl btw) and now we just need the main story to progress faster. 70% of my love for this game comes from the art itself and whenever a new scene comes out it's almost always in Sparrow's artstyle which I'm not a big fan of. Waiting many months on end for SethXZoe to update the international version of a scene is painful however it is ALWAYS worth it, he takes a regular scene and makes it magical, and I believe his style is perfect for the game. I hope the next time I update this I have more good things to say, but I definitely believe Gabe is ready to complete this project now.

Update: It's 6/15/23 and we're on version 3.19
I forgot to do an update when it actually came out but I won't be changing the rating whatsoever. Gabe boldly proclaimed that the game would be seeing its finale by the end of this year and halfway through the year we haven't made a single step forward in the story. Instead, we're getting updates to things at random which you would expect to see when the game is actually finished. Level design updates, side quests and triggers, stuff like that is not what I expected when we were told it would be done this year. It's disappointing, and knowing we have 6 months left I believe the ending will be incredibly rushed if it even ends this year. Although the ending might be terrible, the majority of people here are only interested in the art, so let me cover that. There has been no update for SethXZoe's international style in god knows how many months, and it's disappointing that so many artists are commissioned for the game when it should only be him on it. I considered commissioning the guy myself for my own personal art since I love it so much however he's essentially a ghost online, his twitter is abandoned, his Pixiv is abandoned, and that's about it. Gabe announced that several characters will be getting bad endings for the end of the month update which is good and I look forward to since every scene done is a future SethXZoe piece. Bad endings have been lackluster for me personally, since it's basically the ultimate cuck fantasy watching your women get raped in front of you by monsters and disgusting ass beasts and shit and that's not my fetish at all. The only "Bad end" I loved was when Laquadia becomes my woman. I assume these scenes will be fantastic for those who like it though so that's the main reason I'm not deducting 1 star, a scene is a scene after all and at this point my expectations are so low that I'm impressed by the large amount of scenes we have been getting. The game is still good, great story and characters, and it's only amplified more by Seth's art so I do hope that within July or August we get more International scenes because we are LOOOONG overdue for them (Queen Celestia).

Update: It's 11/5/23 and we're on version 3.21. Let me remind you that in January of 2023 Gabe promised the finale of the game at the end of the year. With 2 months left in the year, we've barely made any progress at all in the main story, with probably 20 minutes worth of side quests, some beast scenes have been added (not in SethxZoe's style) and a monster board. Gabe has decided to focus on things such as: Texture revamps, room revamps, layout revamps, and other extremely unimportant minor changes. I have inhaled copium for several years because despite Gabe showing us they are completely distracted I still wanted to believe something would come from the wait. Each time they said they were going to be ready with content I thought maybe this time was the one! I was so wrong. For our next update we will be getting 2 scenes in SethxZoe's international style which I am beyond excited for however I can no longer cut Gabe slack and pretend this game has a future simply because we get incredible art after 8-9 months. At this point I have no clue what is happening anymore in the main story and I would have to start the game over in order to refresh myself on the story. This is truly sad when I actually believe the game has incredible potential. The story is amazing when there actually is one. I just can't tell anymore if Gabe actually cares about this game, I assumed a game with such cool characters and lore would have a creator that is always invested in it, constantly trying to make it better and keep fans on the edge of their seats, but I guess Gabe is not that kind of dev. I am still excited for the 2 scenes, I'm hoping that it's the Queen Celestia and the newest cowprint Laquadia scene, but it will likely be Celestia and Slender Slut. I'm bumping the game down to 2 stars.

Update: Time for the end of the year update, it’s 12/23/23 and we’re now on version 3.22. The promise of releasing the full game by the end of the year was not kept. That’s honestly the only change storywise. If you look in the thread now the majority of people are just asking what the hell they need to do or where they need to go. It takes so long to get main story content that nobody remembers what was happening. This year more time was dedicated to changing and adding textures, buildings, backgrounds, and reworking. The only good thing I can say about this year was the fact that we got the new Laquadia scene at the BEGINNING of 2023 (which was super hot and fantastic), and then with this new update a couple days ago we finally got the Queen Celestia scene in the international version (SethXZoe’s style) which is fucking incredible and surpassed all my expectations. We also got a Cecily scene in his style which was very nice. That being said, as much as I begged for the Celestia scene it doesn’t justify the fact that we have still made basically no progress in the main story. I doubt the declaration that was made at the start of 2023 will ever be brought up again and I’m sure we’re all feeling let down. I will keep the rating at 2 stars still though because I have a tiny shred of hope as well as I need to see the new Laquadia scene in Seth’s style now. That’s it for 2023 yall, a good year for the art, but abysmal for actual content. I pray 2024 is somewhat better.

A interesting game... on one hand I want to applaud it over its interesting and massive design (Seriously, theres literally days of content in this)...

On the other... (Golden Beetle idiocy... If you don't have a guide, use a mod (thankfully one mod makes the grind less idiotic) or cheat, you WILL be screwing yourself spectacularly come chapter 3 (As due to the "Unique" way the game introduces elements... you find out about how to obtain upgrade/unlock tokens (Needed to rank up your noncombat abilities ) about 5 HRS after you had the character at the appopriate lvl of strength to get them (Literally handing you a lvl 60 Char for a light stroll to the end of Chapter 1... before taking him away... spoiler alert, your characters bar him are lvl5-12... so if you don't farm here you just F*cked yourself as you can't unlock shit without literal HRS of lvl grinding...)

The spawn rate for these enemies is also stupidly low (So even if you use a guide unless your modding or cheating your not getting one without at LEAST 15 minutes of grinding)

Regarding story... I actually like whats here, with stuck well written,characters likable and plenty of CG's available (and a SFW version for steam if thats your jam aswell...)

The epitomy of a guide game.... but a well put together one (Just... use the guide and mod if you play through... You will thank me later)

What kind of developer thinks that locking basic gameplay features such as the ABILITY TO SPRINT and FAST TRAVEL behind side missions that can be easily missed because the associated quest giver is hidden somewhere in a labyrinthine city is a good idea?

What kind of developer creates a combat system so unbalanced that if you didn't think to actively grind every enemy in the tutorial level for three hours straight, you will get crushed in the next mandatory combat encounter?

What kind of developer bothers implementing a Mass Effect-esque morality system when the only real effect it has on the campaign is whether or not you see H-scenes?

What kind of developer thinks dedicating all of their time and resources towards bloating the game with hidden unlockables is more important than implementing features that can finally allow players to interact with their party members or, y'know, progress the damn story?!

I don't care how much commissioned smut Gabe has crammed into this ancient-ass RPG Maker engine. The sheer amount of hoops she expects you to jump through without any worthwhile reward is beyond preposterous. Legend of Queen Opala: Origin doesn't deserve your time. It damn well doesn't deserve your money. And for the people who continue to support this schlock...

Imma keep it real with you, chief.

This ain't it.

This game in my opinion is probably one of the highest quality 2D game on here with great gameplay and high quality art. The combat is pretty fun, diverse and can be quite challenging. The overall game length at the moment is at least 15-20 hours if you do everything by my guess and it holds side activities like a good rpg game should and not only focus on the combat. Though the side content mostly involves perverted things or looking for illustrations and not mini-games, except for throwing dices, there are a lot of dice games.



The story is pretty good and I do think that the relationships at least for now for the most part isn’t really there outside of the seemingly love relationship between the MC and Farah + the love/hate relationship between the MC and Laquadia when it comes to love interests for the MC. Though this might just be my own opinion.



Also be aware that the girls in this game world have about x10 the libido of an average man and the unique girls you interact with has about x1000 the libido and are all massive nymphomaniacs so they will all sleep around pretty much. The game also features some extreme proportions when it comes to the characters and the girls you interact with are probably extremely curvy and able to take things inside of them that makes them appear related to Monkey D. Luffy. I mean to give an example the MC has a penis a size that is probably bigger than a baseball bat but even so one of the girls takes a penis the size of a tree log for three days straight without stop and is so bloated with sperm she looks like she’ll explode. But still walks away from it like it was nothing, I swear the girls all secretly ate the gomu gomu no mi fruit and are all secretly succubus’s.



Also, on a side note this is also a world in which all females can give birth to anything pretty much. For instance, if a human woman has sex with a horse, then she can either give birth to another horse or a furry. There is also seemingly no contraception in this world and all the girls gets cum inside of them all the time. So, while there is no pregnancy, at least involving the MC at this game state, most of the girls have or will give birth at some point in the game their just not the MC’s kids.



Now for some cons and pros.



Cons.

First of for some reason I have the feeling that the MC in this game is more of a backseat character then the unique characters. A big reason for this is that while there are 7 MC looks to choose from each unique character has a high-quality picture that can show several different facial expressions while the MC is stuck with a single picture of seemingly lower quality and can do no facial expressions. While I don’t mind it much it becomes glaringly obvious the more you play since the MC’s face shows up the most, I do however understand that the MC has 7 different looks and with the most appearance in the game it’s a lot of work.

Furthermore, there are a lot of times when the MC only gets to watch and even if the girls promise to marry you or be loyal it’s not going to happen far as I can tell. Though the MC is seemingly a voyeur so maybe he likes it. A lot of the time the MC does get the choice however so it’s not all set, though a lot of the times you don’t get a sex scene in the case that the MC either refuses or doesn’t want to watch. This con is mostly for those who don't like sharing their girls since in this game sharing is caring, and well to be honest both the MC and at least most of the girls will at one point sleep around in LoQO games.

It is pretty far between the sex scenes sometimes at times and for quite some time it’s impossible to rewatch them and instead your only choice is that you can watch a pixelated sex scene with sounds of the MC having sex with one of the girls, at first, it’s just one of them though eventually you can get them all. The lines however are pretty much reused and only the girls pixelated form changes depending on who you chose.





Pros

First off, I think the music in the game has a high standard and from my understanding it’s the games own music.

The gameplay as mentioned is fairly varied and brings a lot to the table compared to many other rpg adult games out there. It has a lot of length and its story for the most part is thought out and engaging.

The cast is varied and the interaction between them seems genuine though as its an adult game it’s mostly towards perverted actions. I especially like Farah and Kythe as characters in the game and compared to many other games the MC is not just a silent protagonist and instead has wants, needs and opinions as well and the choices you make throughout the game does seems to impact how the MC reacts and acts at some points. Which at least to me gives the impression that the game is interactive and dynamic and not simply set in stone with how it will play out, even though most of the game at its current point is fairly linear just giving the player even the illusion of a choice is a great example of a good storytelling and game design.

The art as previously mentioned is really high in quality, probably among the best I’ve seen in an adult game and while it is far between them at times, they do for the most part make up for them. There are also different art styles so depending on what you like your free to pick the style you favour.

The game holds quite a bit of fetishes depending on what you like though the main focus is seemingly around oral, anal, paizuri and bestiality/furries at the moment.



Overall I’d say the game is for me a 4.5/5 at this stage but I’ll give it a 5 to round it up

Being someone who played LoQO I + II before I am looking forward to how this game will play out and as a fellow swed.

It is a huge game with a load of content, but I think it doesn't really do justice to either being an RPG or a porn game. It is much to horny for the former and much to sparse for the later.

Don't get me wrong, there is a bunch of stuff to find and hundreds of illustrations, but that's mostly it, illustrations, pictures that vary wildly in both depicted scenes, style and quality. You can find a vanilla blowjob picture right next to a picture of a girl getting fucked by a dozen horses.

I think it also needs to be said that the nature of all the material in the game is very extreme in its proportions. You can see it in the example pictures, but all the girls are half breasts, except for one. As for the MC, he has a cock that is half a leg and just as wide, but manages to have one of the smaller dicks in the game, as the vast majority of pictures and scenes are between women and several beasts, from Orcs and Minotaurs to Dogs and Horses. If you're not into extreme proportions and mostly not playing the active part in the vast majority in the h-content, this might be for you.
The scenes in which the MC is actively participating are very far between, I'd guess that you would easily spend a couple of hours inbetween scenes that actually play out in game instead of being pictures you find laying on the ground. This makes the whole game rather dull in that compartment, as the difference between playing a game or simply looking at the pictures online is the context provided by said game, which this one lacks for most of the time.
Gameplaywise the game is a slog. it is EXTREMELY grindy which expects you to grind every last enemy at least 30 times for a good portion of its illustrations, with several enemies being extremely spongy and taking minutes to defeat, not to speak of some grinding you will have to do to be able to defeat bosses, some of which will also take several tries. This game is not a quick nukige in which you will have rapid fire successes in mostly filler gameplay while you collect h-scenes. This game wants to be treated as a full blown RPG.
My advice would be to cheat the hell out of this game to make it bearable. You can find an enhancement mod for it and with RPG Maker XP you can edit Data-Files to give yourself boosts in Health, Damage etc. You will need it if you want to keep your sanity.

Honestly I wouldn't recommend this game unless you're prepared to play it for months.

Currently the game is pretty average. It follows the spirit of the previous games but feels way more chaotic and unorganised at the time of writting this review.

In terms of gameplay, it's painlful to say the least and the old rpgm xp doesn't help at all.
1) Maps are big and most of them don't have elements or visual signs to help you tell apart areas of interest, combine that with slow walking speed ( if u don't install the improvement mod) and you have a huge time waster when there is no need to.
2) Grindfest. While I don't mind a game being grindy af. I would like at least to have something different to make the whole time waste engaging, having the same exact visuals as they were like 10 years ago with exact same battle mechanics is too much. I mean look at pokemon same shit for an eternity but they make small changes and you still gonna play it.
3) Story, Characters. Overall the strongest point of the game imo. All of them might fit a certain stereotype but their interactions throughout the game and how they are written boost positevely the whole experience and for me makes me invested to learn more about them except kythe, the dev did him dirty poor doggo .
4) CGs, Art. For the amount of time you play the content is low and personally the constant alterations and incosistencies of the art style bothered me a bit for example I really like the muh'tiki in most of her in game cgs, portrait which clearly have a certain artystyle and them boom you go for the photoshoot and it's like a completely different character, immediately breaks the immersion

I want to like it and will give it again a second try with a fresh save once it's over ( hopefully this century) but at the state it is now I wouldn't recommend to try it simply because it's main point is to explore the story and since the story is unfinished it just leaves you with a bad experience, maybe that's why I remember the previous games being awesome and not this one.

So summing up, don't touch it for now, give it a try when it's finished. And if u are not into heavy story/lore games don't touch it at all.

It's been 6 years already and Gabe is just keeping milking this game, you can notice she is using a very ancient rpgmaker build that's because opala origins started in late 2013 and the first playable build got released in 2014.

There are 6 different art style and 2 of them looks like an ass I do not understand why Gabe wastes much of her budget on unnecessary additional art styles when all this budget could simply go to the actual development.

Gameplay is classic rpgmaker style ala walking simulation but without the ability to sprint yeah that's right Gabe thought it would have been really fun for players to walk in a huge ass city without being able to sprint (which can be unlocked from one side quest which you can easily miss if you are not careful) combat is also classic rpgmaker style but here come balance issues where if you do not grind your level on same enemies you will have a bad time to beat bosses, quests explanation is bad and you often need a walkthrough to beat quests, Gabe also loves mazes so expect every city to be a maze with so many houses where you can't do anything.

The story seems to be the strongest part so far it's nothing mind-blowing but it doesn't insult you just a classic betrayal story with a plot so thin even blind man could see through it but again how many of you are here for an actually good story? Right lmao on the positive note if you pick beastman character you also get different dialogues and the story slightly changes there is also a karma system that only affects whether you want to see more sex scenes or not.

Sex well it's classic CG imagines only they are all good but there are only a few sex scenes that include your main character and most of them are only available if you choose renegade path (ala copy-pasted mass effect heroic/renegade karma system) problem is if you let's say let one character to get raped by an army of gnolls that the same character won't even allow you to have sex with her and there is no way to increase her reputation with her unless you use cheats giving how much Gabe earns monthly I find with such budget she could have made properly animated sex scenes instead just throwing most of it at 5 different artists I personally find sex scenes to be disappointing and this game is mostly sex-oriented.

Given how high Gabeswe budget is how long her game is in development and how little has changed over the past 6 years the negative outweighs the positive ones so I'm giving it 2/5 and I do not recommend you to play it, just save edit your save or just use cheat engine because if you expect rich sex-driven game you'll get disappointed, if you expect fun to play the game you will get disappointed if you expect a well-made story then again you will feel disappointed.

If you are looking for a quick fap, better stay away from this game.

The goods thing I could find here is the world building though XP engine feels old.
Story is okay, not amazing not terrible either.

It just pisses me off on porn side.

I don't really mind sharing, swinging or even whoring someone out but the mc barely gets any action here in this game.

For example, a main companion will cheaply fuck everyone else including beasts while the mc needs to grind out rp or do fetch quests just to get a scene with them or they will turn the mc down. MC is pretty much a side guy here.
I eventually decided to see gallery mod to see if it gets any better after some 10hours , it didn't.
Maybe its great if you are into that, otherwise stay away.

I hesitate to call Legend of Queen Opala: Origins a scam as there is an undeniable quality to the game. There are many flaws, but to the author credit, so is a lot of work put into this game and it shows in detail.
However, while the ridiculously slow speed of pretty much anything in the game can be redeemed with cheat engine, the same can not be said about the development process, which - believe it or not - is even slower. We are running up on 6th year since the work on the game began, and it is nowhere near finished. This time period is frankly insulting, and at this point it is pretty obvious the developer is milking this game for all it's worth.
The other big head-scratcher is the decision to involve 5 different artist to make 5 different CG versions, especially when 2 of them are objectively terrible. Why waste money that could be spent on more art for the versions people actually play - nobody is gonna play this game 5 times, no matter how good it is.

That being said there's nothing inherently wrong with the game itself, provided you use cheat engine for the speedhack. My issue is mainly with the developer.

Having so much fun with this gem, have put in so many hours in and am thoroughly enjoying the cast of busty females and almost literally can't wait for more; the fantasy reminds me of an extremely sexualized Tolkien short story which really butters my biscuits. Eagerly awaiting the finish line for this, my new favorite game.

I almost forgot about this series until I seen it on the latest updates thread. Played the first two games and this one doesn't feel much different, style is still the same. Story is semi good, I enjoy playing the useless quests. I don't enjoy it as an adult game tho. Needs to have more focus on the mc in sex scenes, and an existing emotional attachement with the potential love interests. Couldn't care less about some sluts trying to bang everyone including animals.

the art is 11/10 the cgs are amazing and characters very good but oh my god the gameplay is such an unfun slog, its impossible to know where to go and can easily go hours without any scenes. the art is amazing and the writing is good but i hate everything else, i really wish i liked it

This is a good but very flawed game in terms of production and design choices.

I'd like to start off with stating the story and characters are great, the dialogue is just entertaining and you wish an interaction will never end. The art has improved greatly over the years and the sprites are good.

However the way the game is designed feels like its trying to frustrate you as much as possible. For instance you can't sprint at the beginning of the game and most slowly slog your way through the tavern to finally be able to run. The maps are large but also empty in many, very few places have much importance or significant interaction. You can't access the important game features without first going into a tavern/your castle. The game is extremely grindy and even worse you will be forced to hunt down title achievements just to access the important game mechanics which again is very frustrating and dose nothing but add another 10 hour into an already long game.

Overall a good game but shitty design choices hold it back from being fully enjoyable.

i have played LoQO 1 and LoQO 2 and i love those game, this is even better, i like the new places and new characters (especially Mhu'Tiki) and story is so much interesting then previously. So i can't wait when this game has been complited.

This is one of the few games where I legit love the story, dialogue, and gameplay, even without any of the H-elements (which are ALSO top notch.) Loads of little details here and there, unique personable characters you grow attached too, Epic boss battles. It's really just that good.

Pros:
-Story, if you played previous games you will get loads of story from this one
-Art is good, currently not animated but it is still good
-Voice acting, some chars have voice actors which is good
-Open worldish, map is huge and there are lot of stuff to do, from adventure to kinky.
-Various fetishes covers almost everyone's specific likes.

Cons:
-Grind can be troubling if you dont have much time to play the game
-Lack of animation, for me at least at this age we should get more
-RPGM, outdated engine, some people may consider this as a cons.

Overall triple A adult game. Just imagine if some company funded Gabe and staffed the dev side. Endless possibilities. Probably would turn into real legend of a game
