Yup, but....Selebus made it public on Oct 2. I know, that's not the usual schedule, but it's right there on the SubscribeStar page. Anyway, it's now 2 weeks since the subscriber release on Oct 1, so hoping today's the day.
I used to have a non-mod version of the game updated on a different machine so I could play it when it was released (I've been a subscriber for years) but that machine bit the dust.

Ah, that makes sense. I've always just gone to the SubscribeStar page. Can't wait for Halloween, even though things always go horribly horribly wrong!

I understand your confusion from the way Selebus said "everyone" at the top, but 0.44.0 still hasn't been made public. If you look at the page while logged out of SS, you'll see that that post is locked for non-subscribers. It should go public in the next couple of days.

I guess I should add, there's no real reason to wait for the 0.44.0 version of the mod. The most recent update is just a long chain of events. There is a Happy Event hidden in Sensei Quest, but the other LiL thread would likely be more helpful for that than this mod will be.

i rely on this mod a lot so i appreciate the upkeep and dedication for it and HOPE it continues until the end of the VN.

So then, are you suggesting that one play v. 0.43.0 with your mod, get to the end, & then upgrade & transfer our save to the new version without the mod? If you're going to be skipping this one until a 0.45.0 or however, it would be nice to know so I'm not holding off on playing for no reason

I'm suggesting that you play 0.44.0 with the 0.43.0 version of the mod installed. I don't plan to skip a 0.44.0 release, but there are times (like this update) when the mod doesn't really seem necessary.So then, are you suggesting that one play v. 0.43.0 with your mod, get to the end, & then upgrade & transfer our save to the new version without the mod? Oh, wow, thank you! I didn't even realize you could play 0.44.0 with the 0.43.0 mod -- I've always been discouraged from using out-of-date mods.
To be fair its hard to know if there is a need for it. Its not like its blatantly stated anywhere what events you might miss doing things out of order anywhere but this mod. Its not unreasonable to want to know if the update will come just to be sure nothing is missed.
