can any generous gamer confirm if the 0.45.0 update has any events with score reqs?

I will take your choice of words to mean that this happy event doesn't have a score requirement. Going into the new update hoping that the happy event is either self contained in the update or based on a past flag like Stomachache.

I've updated to 0.45.0, but I'm not 100% sure that the way I've handled the new Happy event works (it's not really triggered in a way that suits the mod's hints).
Exactly what should appear? In my game I already had the flag to allow for the new event, but didn't have the flag for the completion of the event itself, and nothing appears even after I replayed the latest event chain.

Sorry, I lost power for a few days. I have a new version of the mod that I think works that I'll upload this weekend.
The new Happy event is in Chapter 3 but can only be seen once you've completed an event in 0.45.0. So to see it you have to load an old save from Chapter 3. Also, once you see the new Happy event once, it's marked as completed in all playthroughs.

Wait, you have to play the game multiple times to see all the content? Isn't LiL one of the longest VNs out there?! I just started it, so I only know that it's long by reputation, but that seems like a big ask to make you play the game all over to see everything...
There will be 36 endings or whatever, so yeah, you need to play the game several times for the full expereince, but not none of the routes are finished yet. This one specific event is the only one that this much tricky. There was another where the answer way too early in the game and was given when the chapter 1 was remaded.
37 actually, since I think the dark route will also count as an ending, and will just activate a permanent flag like the one of this happy event in a previous decision to avoid it. But I think the "true" ending is gonna be something like that one Majikoi S route which you could only unlock after seeing ALL the other routes, which unlocked a decision in the introductory chapter of the game.
Oh, I thought that the true and the dark route is in the 36 route, my bad.
This is literally the the third VN what I played and I don't know much about routes or flags, because this is the only one what I still play in the past 3 years. I bought and planned to play many other VN, but LiL put my standards so high, that I don't really want to play anything else like until this finished what I'll feel like that 5 years will be an eternity.
If you truly can't bring yourself to play other VNs that you bought, try playing the LiL-like VNs and the clones that are out there in the time between updates. There's a fair bit of them out there that still update, like Dissonance and Another World.

First, thank you for recommending some more games along this line, the both of you, and for your responses to my message of indignance! (lol) I'm going to have to reserve judgment until I play the game fully, I get that.
I would very highly recommend another game that's done in Koikatsu, currently in development and having just released a new update to F95 today. The game quickly shot up to the upper echelons of my list of favorites: How I Became the Bodyguard of the Saintess! -- it's very much a tropey anime story, but I've enjoyed it so much thus far. I hope you guys do too! Also, I'm really hoping I love LiL. I was heavily on the fence as to whether to play LiL or Out of Touch! first, and I went with this. I do know that both games are unfinished
