Talking about spoilers, I agree completely with Moonflare 's take as a newbie to the thread myself.
I knew Akira's name before it was revealed and the impact wasn't lessened for me at all. Heck, I even vaguely knew about CH3 end and it still hit me like a truck. The purpose and meaning behind that scene with Sekai isn't necessarily the reader learning his name anyways (it's a bonus) but more so the fact that he himself unlocking it and his mind is allowing him to hear it. It's a big narrative shift that points towards him actually growing (for better or worse?)

To me spoilers just aren't that big of a deal, because random single facts and events aren't what make a good story. It's the path it traveled there and the ramifications on the story going forward that are important.
But maybe that's just me being more in tune with the elements of storytelling.

I still try to respect others when I can of course, but like Moonflare said: this is a thread where people who are caught up to current are going to want to be talking and discussing the story, it's a bit selfish to expect everyone else to coddle the newbies everytime they show up when they are not likely to stick around anyways.

The plant in Sensei's living room is Plant #5. (It doesn't have any dialog I think). You can see it in Ami event Important Things when everything goes negative the plant has number 5 on it.

Also replaying chapter 1, it seems the reason Sensei's brain melts during resets is because he remembers all the loops. Maya talks about it and asks him if he is gonna break with thousand years of memories in some event.

Rin's depression was not that bad before the Reset began. Futaba said Rin could recover in a day a few months ago. Maybe, Futaba's body thing got worse over the loops. Futaba is also forgetting her parents cause of the loops.

I have a question. Does each reset have a designated sacrifice? Like we know he has to take something that doesn't belong to him. Like if he did it with four girls before 1st/2nd reset, is one of them specifically the sacrifice or is there no significance to each girl?

I personally am looking forward the most to Chika and Rin having a heart to heart about Akira/themselves. I feel like a lot is about to happen there because A. Chika has no reason not to pursue Rin anymore, and B. Rin is the one person I think can talk Chika down from her craziness about all of this, and C. Chika can give Rin the motivation she needs to finally pursue Akira for real.

Mind you, Rin has tried talking to Chika about Akira seeing other people multiple times throughout the chapters, so I'm interested how that's going to play into it too because Chika was pissed at Yumi for hiding it from her, but maybe that's beside the point with the state of everything.

I want the Kaori to slip up and say she fucked Sensei while she's talking to Tsuneyo. Hopefully this kickstarts Tsuneyo's sexual pursuit of Sensei.

obviously looking forward to Rin's events as well as the invite over events, especially Nodoka's and Molly's since both never fail to entertain me
but moreso just going back to some laid back and fun events after 3 patches of big chain events. I love getting more lore, but I also like not having to wait half a year for new Uta events!

The world doesn't have to go to great lengths to ensure everything is safely hidden until you're ready to consume it dude. If spoilers matter so much to you, take this as a lesson, do the work yourself, play the game and stay out of the thread, that way no one can spoil you. Come in here and expect everyone to go to constant effort just in case a newbie walks in? Grow up dude, ain't no way that's going to fly, and chucking a hissy fit over it isn't going to change anyone's behaviour in that regard, you're just setting yourself up to be pissed off, along with anyone you decide to whine at... you're the one with the problem, you fix it... or just shut up.

Making a habit of throwing around spoilers is not healthy. Also like I said before, why not just say Sensei or MC? That's what I did for 46 days of reading. It takes you LITERALLY 3 seconds to hide information behind a spoiler like this and if you are too lazy to do that with everything, then just hide your entire post behind it. If you are so used to talking to people who have already finished the current version, then just hide everything.
The site gave you the tool needed to hide certain information. I don't agree with the analogy of this being a book discussion club.
How is it POINTLESS to keep using spoilers? That entire segment seems insensitive to the way I see it.
There are ALWAYS gonna be newcomers here with vastly different views on spoilers. No matter what you say, I feel like openly using the mc's name when there are perfectly good alternates is completely unnecessary. Tack on how easy it is to put a spoiler and add in how the game chooses to reveal that information in the first place and you have a reasonable argument.
I am the type of person who plays the game up to the current version, give my reactions, reply to whoever replies to me and then leave. Given how big and good this game is, I kinda expected people to be as anti spoiler with me as they were on day one when I asked questions about what to expect from the game. But sometime information slips through either aimed at me, or posted in the open where a quick glance scrolling through the pages tries to find replies to me or trying to find that one post I found interested is all that it takes to reveal a spoiler and I dunno about you, but that's kind of a shitty experience that could have easily been avoided with an effortless spoiler. If you can't agree with that then we will never agree on this point.

Because guess what, the new update is tomorrow and were going to be discussing it, which means there is going to be spoilers and we would hate for you to come across any more spoilers that you haven't come across yet.

I have been wondering when we will get more Kaori. I believe its been a couple months in game since her last scene and I don't see a new event for her this first half of the year. Lets hope we eventually see her and Akira talk about it but I won't hold my breath.

Pretty sure the plot gets armor again.
While there's still hope, i don't think they'll be discussing the things that have been revealed with her being a "bnb hotel" for the gods and espacially Sekai.

And i got to admit it's a bit tiring that things always go that way.
Someone lately asked what people would do if being inserted into lil with the knowledge we have and some funny ideas came around. Espacially, trying to find things out for once.

That's the gripe i have with the story, or some other stories in general.
They do know stuff is going on, but the casts efforts to find out are almost non existing, even though they have their RAS.
Only one who tried was Nodoka. But she got axed (reading, knifed).
I wonder if that was Sel's point anyway.
Like: "If they try to find out, they can't", with severe consequences. Like, reinforcing the plot's armor.

I think it's somewhat reasonable to spoiler things that just happened that day. It's spoilering things that happened years ago that gets silly.
Really if we did that, how would a newb in the middle of say chapter 2 know if a spoiler contained something they already passed, or something from chapter 3? They'd end up just not reading any posts, which is exactly what everyone else is advising them to do anyway.

Yea.... Unfortunately, that's the nature of a consistently evolving harsh industry that continues even to this day, it tends to leave people behind like that, kinda reminds me how Shenmue 3 was completely outdated even though it released in 2019. Makes me wonder how many companies and people in the late 90s in this industry were left behind like that.

The "Black and White" games were interesting for their time (couldn't beat the last map in B&W2).

Peter Molyneux created the "God Game" genre with "Populous" as far as i know.
He tried to stick to that with his "22 Cans" studios (after Lionhead), but failed badly.
To much catering to some imagined "Mobile Generation" audience. For the younglings it wasn't interesting enough and for the "Old Sports" like me, it was too casual.
