I think it's his strategy to keep the creative juices flowing. Dostoevsky spent the earnings from his books in gambling and booze, and only when he was broke again he wrote. Maybe Sel is kinda doing that? Increasing the sweet number, and getting motivation by watching it go down over time.
Ahem, as an aficionado of Dostoevsky I must kindly remind you gambling and alcoholism was not main driven force for Dostoevsky. Yes he must write for money since he’s almost consistently impoverished for whole year and he suffered in addiction for a while. Her loving second wife helped him get rid of those vices after publishment of C&P that saved him from ruining his life (and somehow being the most symbolic novel of him that filled up with delirium and mysterious conscience, ring any bell?).
Why would he pay someone to make animations? It's not like that would make all of you start paying for the game, so he's just giving up money for nothing.
I mean, if you improve a product people will be more likely to pay into it.

Uhhhh yeah this is a bit embarrassing for you but that's just how tracebacks look for this game. For some reason, Sel's windows userpath is baked into the game - I don't know whether this is a coding error on his end or a ren'py quirk, but this is how they look when the game crashes.

With the first of half of chapter 4 being one year, is the second half going to really take two years or will something new happen with resets? Is Sel just adding more and more events to stretch it out that will just cause additional frustration and confusion?
Edit: Also, which girls still wont be lewdable until chapter 5? So if this stands, more than two more years till they are. Whatcha gonna do if Rin and Yumi take that long? I wonder if we will get a proper Maya memory before then.

There's actually a 4th song, added in this update for this scene. It's locked behind 3000 Ayane Love though so most won't see it and it's just the music, no flag or extra dialogue. This is the second time an absurd amount of that has been needed. URM will let you see it in replays.
Urm calls it no music, but clearly there is music. Makes sense. The song doesn't seem that special tbh. Can't really compete with the mystery girl beach meeting.

If the mod truly allows that, that's pretty weird. I thought it would still give you the choices, and just steer you into the events that give you the choices.
You should probably try to find a save before "No one can hear us" which might hurt, I believe you're in ch2 with that event. And it's single handedly the biggest decision to get wrong unintentionally.
If you do it, I recommend text skipping, unseen text skip off, after choices text skip on and let autovn auto as much as it can

He means use the mod in my signature. Search for the label shrine30 using it and jump, ignore the warning, but make a save before doing it. Also, use a save before the point where you 'missed' it.
