I wonder if that cat has any symbolic meaning? Is the same cat standing next to the tree with the lights, is it not?
It's the same model used throughout a bunch of random events. What it means, no one knows. Maya has been referred to as a stray cat but that's about the only kind of connection that's been made.
I've more or less consciously asked myself if Akira's archetype is something you see irl.
There are charming people who can pull mad pussy but none of them act like Akira IRL. There better be some external force making Akira irresistible, because the only other explanation is that's what Sel thinks women want...
Knowing that I will soon be caught up to the current version is depressing yet relieving as it means I can finally start catching up on other avn's, go hard on a non adult game and probably find an easier time going to sleep properly, although that's debatable. The biggest problems is that the memory issues I have with the game will amplify by time and I will get disconnected with the story and it would be hard to say if I'm really willing to sit through another 70-80 days worth of old chapters minus things I don't want to sit through again just to memorize the story. I would need to quit playing when I caught up and return like 6-8 years later when the game might have finished. Lets hope the dev doesn't burn out or something, because I can't imagine the kind of work he does with this game is something just anyone could do as annoying as that might be. Takes a certain kind of mind to pull something like this off, and quite a bit of bravery too.
You should stick around for 0.48 at least (Releases on the 1st). It'll finish off the invite events you'll just be able to reach, someone new should make sex progress since everyone in it but Maki is basically a sensei virgin, and Uta and Yumi have 3 events which usually means big chains (Tsuneyo kind of does too since she got a single event last update, could easily pair onto that one). After that it's basically a two month gap until 0.49 good time to take a break.
After that, you'll have to see if you have the same reactions others here have had where they can't settle for the worse written AVN's now that they've tasted this one.
Burnout is unlikely, Sel does a very good job pacing themselves, planning far ahead and taking breaks. More likely to piss off his money in some way, probably in pursuit of chasing more money.
p.s I managed to grind everything in Sensei Quest btw. Compared to the affection grind at the start of the game I didn't think this would be so easy. I was actually able to reliably automate it even on a somewhat potato pc.
