He has said before that people shouldn't play it just to get their rocks off, so the hypocrisy of him totally gooning out to it himself would be right in character for him.

I mean, this isn't really the kind of game you fire up for the sole purpose of cranking it. Not that there aren't sexy parts of the game, but a good majority of them are supremely fucked up or under circumstances that would likely distract (normal) folks from the lewd part of it.
I think there's a much higher chance of Sel getting off reading his script.

Up until now I haven't done that during LIL, honestly I never considered LIL a game for that, and I didn't even think about doing it, maybe that will change when a scene with Maya happens, but well, unfortunately it seems that all sex with her will be off-screen ;-;
Yumiko literally translates to Yumi's child. So... who has the dick here for that to happen?
*That's also why, for a time, people figured Himawari's name would be Hanako = flowerchild. Which Shiori wouldn't make fun of, because it's a very common Japanese name.
In the last update, things got really strange when adult Sana was alone with Sensei. Her whole demeanor changes and she hints at knowing things she shouldn't. She asks pointed open-ended questions to get him thinking about uncomfortable truths, and yet she keeps smiling the whole time. She toys with him, giving only a trickle of information when she clearly could tell him more.
Does that sound like anyone else we know? How about if I show you a visual comparison?
While it sounds tinfoil, my best guess is that it wasn't Sana saying these things, it was Tsubasa speaking through her. That leaves big questions of how and why, but first let's take a more detailed look at the weird things she says.
Some of these oddities are better explained if it's Tsubasa talking, but would she really be able to speak through Sana? I think the idea is less ridiculous than it seems on the surface, even if we don't know the specifics of how it happened.

Didn't Himawari say she needed Tsubasa for her plans or something? Could it be possible... Himawari didn't make a mistake in sending them to her wish world? I dunno, this stuff is all a bit beyond me, but you bringing up Tsubasa reminded me of what was said to her on the couch, though i can't remember the details or imagine how that'd play out...

I like this theory.
I also thought it was odd that Sana, of all characters, seemed so in tune with what is happening to Akira, and I agree, the hints were quite obvious that it wasn't coincidental but rather deliberate.
I just figured it was more about Sana being an adult by now and having connected certain dots in those 15 years that passed, maybe foreshadowing some character development that is yet to come after her crazy whore phase.
I completely missed the Tsubasa similarities, but now that you presented them, they do seem too convenient to not be deliberately placed there by Sel.
Don't get me wrong, I still think Sel might be a little too far up his own ass to have a full overview of all the idioms the characters use, the typical poses etc. and might just reuse them in certain scenes on a whim because it feels right. But yeah, in this particular case it seems too fitting.
The other weird adult Sana you mentioned might also simply be how Sana is when not being overtaken by another entity. Or an adult Sana from another world/timeline that grew up differently, i.e. not with a reasonable and sane Akira who had a rather healthy relationship with her best friend.
The only gripe that I have with this theory is: Why now? If Tsubasa had this power all along, why has she never taken over someone else before?
Unless she has?
Come to think of it, do we even know why Himawari is able to do it? Can Shiori do the same?
We still don't know how Tsubasa knows of the custodians and how exactly she came in contact with them prior to Himawari. She does give off "I secretly know much more than y'all think and will cause a huge plot twist eventually" vibes, so I personally wouldn't be surprised if some of what you wrote turned out to be true or at least point into the right direction.

This was/is my thinking too. If you assume that she came to understand more about her blackouts/hallucinations/etc. and also that she came to know at some point that it was something she had in common with Akira that exchange kind of makes sense, and Sel would wanna keep it vague and kinda cryptic if that's the case.
I don't think Tsubasa has any powers like that right now personally but the vibe and visual similarity is quite interesting
When Sana said "A cat got your tongue?" for a split second I thought it might be Paredollia in disguise, but I don't think that would make sense. The dialogue, the way of saying it, seemed more like it was Tsubasa speaking than Sana, but that slight suspicion still lingered in my mind.
