Hard disagree. I love Karin and will defend her with my life. She’s too pure for this world.
Could she use more development, though? Absolutely. But recent events have already begun to do just that, wouldn’t you say? At the very least, it’s a start. All we can do now is see where it all leads.

It’s more like Ayane and Kirin will stay parallel instead of losing friendship. In fact, Kirin will remain a “bad and distant friend” to Ayane (Disappointing Everyone), but would still try to bond through their family issues. Nothing else happened off screen that made the two routes rejoin; it’s because its relevancy to the main story structure has always been minimal since the beginning.
tldr: they don't "suddenly stop hanging out" regardless of player choices. They weren't doing that from the beginning and they don't have reasons to engage later on if things between them never transpired.

So far the robot's name only matters if you name it "1998 classic roller coaster tycoon" or whatever that even was called. When she starts shilling the game, Akira comments on it can she's happy at the shared obsession.
