If you check the script, you can actually notice that the day counter went up by nine. So more than a Sunday, the entirety of the next week was also skipped.
And this also means that the memory redacting/soft reset didn't just happen at the beach, since Ami and Niki aren't aware that Sensei has been gone for more than the weekend. I wonder if Sekai got up to any shit in the meantime.
Actually, I've been thinking about that specific instance of AmIOkay saying "imagine the look on Maya's face when she finally slips" and, now that we know what slip means, that can actually confirm that Maya's alive.

Either she wasn't factory reset, or the factory reset itself means a different thing. Recall that when she was gone, she popped as an egg = she shifted somewhere else. What we can interpret is that, rather than being gone, Maya Prime was gone somewhere else (to the replica of heaven).

Additionally, who else is with her waiting at the place she slips to? AmIOkay! To see her face when she slips.

It's possible this has happened to Maya alone, or that it happens to everyone (see other Futaba stuck on that other plane). Maybe factory resetting doesn't erase anything, but rather transports the individual to another plane while installing a backup on Kumon-mi. This would also make sense with the fact that NAO can recall everything using the Wishing Well, well, she can do it because nothing was erased in the first place.

Basically, Maya can definitely be saved as she simply slipped somewhere, and maybe everyone can too.
It's Long Maya/YouDidIt talking about Maya slipping, not AmIOkay.

The way Maya Prime disappeared reminds me of how Ami did the same during the second reset when Wires melted her organs or whatever, though in that case there's no popping sound. And while Ami thinks she's dying, she also says "I'm not ready to leave yet" (in hex) and her last words are "Goodbye. For now." So maybe she was aware that she was about to slip rather than literally die?

We were already sure that Maya P was in a different place. The idea that she was taken or removed via the same method (of "transportation") that lets Akira or others move between planes is interesting, though. Doesn't totally explain how they're then reset, there probably needs to be another mechanism to "apply" their "saved state" or rebuild when factory reset. I think Maya P's circumstances are at least semi-unique. We don't have precedent for the same exact thing happening to others (effectively jailed,) and we do have evidence that it was done to her, because of her unique existence, and through specific actions. I think there's an easy analogy for her current state, too.
When you delete something from your hard drive, it's actually still there. It just doesn't have any pointers to the data. It exists on the hard drive, but effectively not in whatever folder/game/program it was in. Basically in the void, where you need a recovery tool to find. That is, until it gets overwritten with new data, and it's destroyed. It's an analogy, so not 1 to 1.

Remember there is something different about Ami when reset times come around. I wouldn't be surprised if she can't Slip or anything like that because she's more integrated into the simulation rather than being a free agent.

Fingers crossed it's not "stomachache" with Chinami.
Damn, I hope not. Stomachache is awful because Io knows what she’s asking for — and we know she is going to hate it. Which she does. But Chinami? No. Please no.

I think we’re getting her death. Which he’s been making us dread for years. Bastard.

I had a though and maybe this might be wrong, but I'll throw it out here so people can try to theoryze about this.

Sana is a sacrifice to HOPE, maybe even an angel of HOPE in the making, maybe if Akira had spread his light into her, it would give some power to HOPE and possible have him with enough power to interrupt Pareidolia's spring, and that is why Pareidolia interrupts them.

You know, it's kinda funny Yumi tries to insult Akira by saying he has a micro dick, see, that's a total gamble, she has no idea if it's small, big, or average, and it's a really bad bet to make, looking at a standard bell curve sampling she's picked a point on the graph that has one of the lowest odds of being right and an almost guaranteed chance of being dickslapped by the true size. I dunno, Yumi is pretty good at insults, and this one, whilst fitting her personality, is actually a pretty dumb insult to use, especially when there are so many other insults she can throw at him that are either obviously right or highly likely to be. I can't wait for her to finally see Big Penis™ and wear the face of the typical cock shocked woman.

Yeah, I’m with you and everyone else who thinks it’s related to Chinami’s death. It all lines up perfectly:

- Would seamlessly blend in with the inevitable Yumi and Chika drama in the next update.
- Will no doubt evoke a strong emotional reaction from the audience.
- Said death would occur in the update right before the next reset, so Chinami would be back after it happens (unless some weird ass twist occurs where she’s actually gone for a little while).

It just makes sense.

Do you think you could just be wrong though? Please? Thanks.

What if the Akira that was giving her all those detentions did have a micro dick. This is just grande sensei.

She has though, unless people have gone the other path for the Nodoka blackmail. She's seen Nodoka giving him a blowjob, and even though she tried not to look, I'm pretty sure she saw something since she comments on his face as Nodoka makes him cum on a later conversation (or how he grabbed her head or something to that effect).

Oh yeah... didn't she call him a microdick again in this update though?

Another instance of POP is in Chapter 2, Spotless Mind. In fact it happened twice. First after he read Niki's letters and we had to complete that survey by USER2/Calm, and then the second POP during memory retrieval where we see wizard Sensei and Niki.

Now that I replayed Spotless Mind, I also remembered this is one of Calm's survey questions

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

So in reality he is asking how often Sensei Slips ?

Also I'm not sure if the pop sound is really as significant as the Slip clue. We have seen other characters pop in and out of existence with different sound effects like the "blue screen of death" sound or the static ssssssssssss sound. Maybe Selebus just decided to use the Pop effect in this ocassion

No! No touch Chinami! Chinami is safe and sound!
(not actually angry with you)
Not to be overly grim, but considering the alternative, she might be safer dead.

Edit: Oh, and not to have a post just for this, I also recall that when Chika's mother is watching her house from the frame, she slips back into the picture when she's satisfied the house is alive again. Sana claims her brother talks to her, and given ghost Sekai being real (confirmed by the Niki event), it might be that Chika's mother and Sana's brother also are.
