... I'm not actually the oldest active poster in this thread, am I? Say it ain't so.
We're close

I see you have been in the HHG thread first.
That game was the reason i created my account, because i wanted to see what other people did with KK.
Shame Komi is a lazy ass,... or worse.

Also wtf will happen in fall?

nothing everything falls but me. We'll literally see the world on fire as the gods have to flee TERMINAL 23 because it went over its expiration date (is my best guess based on the last two updates - since Yasu describes this happened in the past, and when Nao-chan is introduced, narrator talks about how its being born into a fading world).

Edit: also, if you take another look at "Miserably ever after", you'll see the entities talking about how for the first time in years the clocks have corrected themselves (to an extent). Yasu has once remarked how (from HOPE's perspective) Spring and Fall have been taken from them. For we to have Fall again would mean that the clocks wouldn't half correct themselves, it would mean that everything would become more normal than it has been for a long time. All seasons, time passing correctly - now imagine the disaster this would mean for every character in the loop.

Does it mean all memories start to resurface? Does it mean that the bad parts of them that were slipped and locked away come back? And what happens to an everyday life in the last days of a dying world when everyone remembers every horrible thing done to them over a thousand years? That's all not even considering the four parts of a god becoming one again.

There was some narrative significance to giving us the option to say no during Stomach Ache. I think it was to show that Sensei had full agency in the choice. No Gods or blackouts forcing it to happen.

I do still worry about all the branching paths in this game like you said. It's limiting and hard to maintaine. Ami, Io, Sara, and Haruka have the most drastic deviations. I can't imagine someone like Haruka will have a satisfying story arc in BOTH paths.
But you see, that is the problem. There is just one path. The perfect example for that is ayane and kirin. Their friendship ended either way, just in the non blackmail route it did end without any reason.

And the way Sel does handle them they are quite easy to maintain, because every big choice you do, will always have the same outcome for the mainstory. There is no branching here. And that is good, because it makes it easier for him to keep a monthly release. And that is bad, because the choices never really matter as much as they should be.

Oh thank fuck, I'm not the resident old fart after all.
You might still be older than me

My first post here seems to be Sep 9, 2020. Complaining about the annoying Ch1 Happy scene where you had to go home. Because of course.
You know, you people really should have reminded me while i was still writing that post... now it's kinda too late.

You guys all talking about being old by having posted in dec 28 2020, and, on the opposite end, we have just recently found out that DeSkel probably was having sleepovers along Yumis and Tsuneyos in pre-school by then :ROFLMAO:

(still shocked by how young he is, when I'm so old I was goth before they built the first cathedral)

Oh come'on you brought forth that date for a reason, like Nodoka did (did she? was it that event? confirmed!).
Hint: It's mentioned on other ocassions

Mabye additionally it's even a girls birthday? Didn't look.

I still stick by my season theory. Also wtf will happen in fall?
In theory:

Out of the entities that we know of:
  • HOPE wants to fix things
  • Wire god/USER2 wants to maintain order
  • Pareidolia wants to sing/fuck around
  • and The World Itself (possibly the main Sekai) seems to just want to watch everyone suffer, I guess, lmao.
Nao seems to want to watch, at least, Sensei dance, but implied it's half divine and doesn't want to use Sensei, while not blaming others for doing so.

Assuming that Fall is the World's season, it doesn't seem like things will go well. It was excited for Makoto to find out her father was gone, which she found out in her Chapter 3 'Whispers of the World' Event...then it seemed to torment her afterwards:

So, that's the kind of entity it seems to be.

May have also slaughtered Yumi in Reset 5 (maybe Tsuneyo?), and Ami in Reset 6 (and maybe someone else based off Makoto's texts).

Or, something entirely different is going on and going to happen.

that was the day of the sleepover, cause I'm so immersed in the lore of this game that even when I'm trying to make a joke it becomes an informative piece of theorycraft lol

Tsuneyo just mentioned the 28th of december 2020 to Yumi out of her ass. I guess it was a Tojo Ramen event.
Confirmed: Tsuneyo Event "Ramen Girl".
At the very end.

[...] well, yes. That's what I said, Tsuneyo is referring to the day of the sleepover, which was on dec 28 2020, which is also the name of that event.

She mentions this to Yumi because Tsuneyo retains memories in form of dreams, that was revealed when she takes Molly to the amusement park and later is joined by Akira. She mentions this to Yumi because Yumi was also there, hence she was trying to confirm that was a real memory by asking another person involved.

The date dec 28 2020 is important to us since that first event because it placed the entire LiL timeline in the year 2020 (aka the year the resets started). If the resets started on the day dec 28 is still unclear.

That's also no one's birthday (that I recall), although it sits in the middle between Kaori's and Maya's.

I don't remember when seasons change - is it with every reset? And is guaranteed that the next season will be fall if it does change? If not, maybe fall = ch5 = dark route?
Seasons change every two resets. But that could be because Spring and Fall were gone = thus, when it should have shifted to Spring and Fall, Winter and Summer just kept going for one reset longer.

Selebus mentioned that there is one more chapter after this one, and only then we get to the dark route (which would technically count as chapter 6, in his words). I base this off of a screenshot shared here in the thread, someone with discord access might look it up for you if there's such a need.

Typically every 2 Resets, and every Chapter, there's a seasonal change.

Chapter 1 is in Summer. After Reset 2 (There is Nothing), it becomes Winter and Chapter 2. After Reset 4 (A Life of Prizes), it became Summer again and Chapter 3. After Reset 6 (Times New Roman), it became Spring, and Chapter 4.

Presumably, after Reset 8, it'll become Fall (or maybe Summer or Winter. It's not guaranteed as far I recall). Reset 7 seems to be coming up, but we'll see.

Oh... and with sekai's heart inside of Kaori. Who does remember the timeline of events of akira teaching maya and noriko and the accident that killed sekai? Is there a shared time when sekai was still around and akira already giving lessons in love to maya?
