Does Makoto remember her attempt? I know she gets a flashback of it during one of the latest resets but otherwise it seems that she totally forgot about it after the reset she attempted before, only getting a whim of it till the later reset.
Does she think it was a dream, or does she remember?
I have a hard time putting this into words so forgive me if it's confusing.

The problem is you're skipping the epic updates. Last updates was the halloween / reset. This update is the christmas / aftermath of reset / maybe wizard content starting.
Next month is merely sexual progress with someone who hasn't been sexualized (unless Sel sells hard and gives Maki another scene) and animations so maybe new dorm / invite sex scenes.

No need to change your mind, she's obviously a very good girl, to a fault even. I just don't tend to like timid girls (and the "devoted wife" trope overall); being an introvert myself I like girls that don't let me be in my comfort zone 24/7.
And apart of finding her a boring character in this VN, she has the problem that she reminds me too much of my first gf (well, she wasn't that hot obviously) who was very nice but... wouldn't work out and didn't end well (all my fault).
Over here, making pasta and meatballs is dead easy. I'm sure there is some equally easy alternative over there. Or just order food outside? I dunno about this. I guess I'm just that much more competent than the mc who is older.
I have no intention of stopping it. It's a bit more work but it's a nice distraction. Whoever posted it earlier were onto something. The game is already quite long, not sure if I will need a break but that depends what else I would be doing I guess.

I'm probably gonna play the next update but depending on how much content is there (Which does look like a fair bit) That's when I'll have a better idea if I want to wait or just play it monthly with everyone, there are some games on here I play every update cause it gives enough content for me to enjoy and others I leave for 3 or 4 updates to cook and fill my appetite and avoid cliffhangers.
I must not be far enough into the game to get this impression and I'm not getting the impression his nearly as horrible as I was told he is. Bad, sure, but it could be a lot worse. Some of the things he says occasionally are quite vile tho. And now that I think about it, his incredible lack of selflessness.

despite the usual emotional whiplash with how the game is structured, the headpats are just inherently funny and are a very nice break from the rollercoaster of going from crying in sadness and crying in fear

Does headpats do anything more than one line after 10 headpats. I thought it was a few funny lines, but seeing everyone praises it im not sure.

I really don't want to fan the NTR debate flames. They don't need it.
But I've been thinking about what you said here. And I can completely see your point. As my own anecdote showed, when your SO cheats, the gender of the person they're cheating with is irrelevant. If it feels like a betrayal, it's going to feel like a betrayal.
There are a number of reasons why I don't think infidelity/betrayal/NTR/netorare/whatever applies to this game. Mainly, this is a harem game, and Akira comes into the bizarre world of Kumon-mi very genre savvy. He consciously approaches the first days of gameplay as a garden variety fuck-em-all school eroge. All the girls are his girls. As are all the grown women. And, as you pointed out, he tells Ami early on that the idea of her and Maya bumping uglies gets him excited.
As I said above, I don't know that he'd particularly enjoy the rape scene in the most recent update, but hey, he's fucked up. He might. This is the guy who—if we decide that the green path is the true path—played "Stomachache" through to the end.
So while I see your point, I'm going to respectfully disagree.
Mind, I also recognize that there are players for whom that rape scene—more than "Stomachache," more than "Lavender's Green," more than many other deeply disturbing scenes—crosses a line they won't. So I suppose adding an NTR flag to this thread might make sense.
But because there's no real consensus about what that flag actually signifies, I'm not sure who it would help.
On another subject—what Ami knows or doesn't—I just replayed the first h scene in the bath for the first time since the revisions. I have a hard time seeing the Ami in that scene as having done this thousands of times. I get that she's capable of playing her youth and innocence to the hilt, and I recognize that by the later chapters there's definitely way more going on inside that twin-tailed head than meets the eye, but really? I can't see it there. The awkwardness and shyness seem too genuine, and not aimed at turning on Akira.
Which in my mind lends creedence to the idea that in later scenes Ami is possessed by Sekai or by some other entity—that that's who torture rapes Maya, for example.
Am I missing something?

You’ll unlock a girl’s pajamas outfit in the menu as soon as you pat them to orgasm and unavoidably break your left click button. Never saw anyone praising it though; this shit is asinine with a barely worthwhile result.
This is also my theory, but I think that, just like how Akira gets dropped into his body each reset, I think Ami also does that, though at varying points in time each reset, and before that, it's just base Ami.
