I do not hate her. I don't find her actions worth of disliking. Though I do not like her as well. I have totally neutral opinion about Otoha, since I never was interested in her story. She's just like Futaba for me: just exists somewhere.

I agree with you on that, compared to most other characters in lil, Otoha just feels bland.

Okay I am totally at a loss...I just finished the final necessary event (Karin, If Only) according to wiki and cannot get "There is Nothing" as part of the first Christmas chain/events. Ive tried using a save analyzer guide tool from reddit and it is no help at all and the weirdest part is, I tried completely deleting the game folders and copying my saves to a diff backup folder and reinstalling...but when I extract the new installation and run it for the first time (before even transferring my saves over) it automatically has ALL of my old saves somehow. Are the saves not actually kept in the save folder?

Throw your save over here. Renpy makes local backups of saves you have to delete both.

For her toxic relationship with Rin?

Took advantage of Rin to "experiment",
Lies about homophobic parents to avoid having to make Rin more official in her life, making her easier to dump,
Cheats on Rin,
Was manipulative and controlling of Rin (Dissaproving her friendship with Chika, also p sure this was just manipulation),
Was writing a fucking love note to Niki while dating Rin.

Rin is an angel, and Otoha abused it for personal gain.

100% the same, during most of the game I was neutral to Otoha, wasn't very interesting and while I could see a kilometer away what would happen between her and Rin it didn't change my opinion on her, did make me make sure that I stayed directly on the good homie path and comfort Rin as much as the code would allow me.

Pink events are lust events that you have not completed. Go to Sara, have her call you Husband for a neat moment and then get ready for the first reset puzzle.

Omfg thank you, I swear I tried vising Sara like 3 times and nothing was happening so I assumed I already had that part done. Hopefully this is it, I will look for the guide mod. Appreciate the help

It's purely a limitation of Sel as a programmer. It'd be possible to hide them, but it would take a lot of foresight and refactoring and it really isn't worth it. They already appear in the main / side girls menus and it'd take about as much work to hide them there too.

Autovn has hidden the portraits of the characters so it is possible to do that at least. Perhaps I can check in on autovn and see if it's possible on their end to hide it there.

feel like im definitely in the small percent of players that actually like otoha. like yeah it was shitty how she did rin but lets not act like some of the other characters aren't equally as bad. i mean sensei is lying to basically everyone. yumi bullied someone into genuinely hating themself. Rin led sensei on after the Chika rejection before deciding to throw him aside for Otoha. Molly forced a kiss on Rin, the list goes on and on but everyone has this huge hate boner for Otoha. the difference between otoha and the other characters is at least she is self aware shes a bad person but doesn't hide it anymore

I don't hate her--though she definitely didn't do right by our best bud Rin. She's an example of what my kids call "pretty privilege." She's cute and moderately talented and so things have generally come her way. I think the whole Niki thing is going to continue to kick her in the teeth, and I don't think that's a bad thing for her as a person. 'Cause she's not much of a person at this point.

One thing that occurs to me: she's one of the few characters who isn't struggling with some major trauma or mental challenge--that we're aware of. I mean, she might be sociopathic, but I don't think so. I think she's just... not very nice.
