Man now I'm wondering about Yumi and Nodoka, just how the hell would that be like?
By the way if it was instead side cast, I'd go for Chinami and Tsukasa, Chinami would definitely start Chinami Corp while Tsukasa will get parental attention she needs by Chika.

Assuming the Moon is Sekai or a representation of her, which might be why Ami wants to bring the Moon back

(if not very into theorizing, I recommend skipping this one)

I've mentioned this before, but bringing the moon back makes even more sense if Sekai initially never died. Her death would be related to reset stuff, by having Maya exist, which would in turn make her die. So, while it could be "impossible" to change the real world, it would be more possible to change/change back what was altered by the fake world in the first place.

Okay I am totally at a loss...I just finished the final necessary event (Karin, If Only) according to wiki and cannot get "There is Nothing" as part of the first Christmas chain/events. Ive tried using a save analyzer guide tool from reddit and it is no help at all and the weirdest part is, I tried completely deleting the game folders and copying my saves to a diff backup folder and reinstalling...but when I extract the new installation and run it for the first time (before even transferring my saves over) it automatically has ALL of my old saves somehow. Are the saves not actually kept in the save folder?

IIRC there are other saves at: "C:\Users\"Your Username"\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Test2-1577602671

Edit: I'm now confused on the timeline and it's possible that the kiss comes before the blackmailing, but the blackmailing can definitily come before the handjob if you refuse it.

This takes place after the beachtrip, so yes, I was initially correct. The blackmail happens before the first kiss. The blackmail also happens after she gives you a handjob, but that's missable without straying from green path, so it's debatable.

Yumi was/is one of the more "realistic" characters to me, although somewhat exaggerated. I Always saw a lot of subtlety in the way she was written that you could easily overlook in the earlier chapters if you only saw her only as the token tsundere. Whether or not that was entirely me projecting things onto her, I guess I can't say for sure. But I suppose everyone's answers will just depend on what girls resonated with them the most. Because there is nothing more "realistic" then your own experiences.

I knew like 5 girls that'd flirt with Teachers, Drug Dealers, and Police, to get what they wanted, growing up. They'd also typically have boyfriends on top of that.

That doesn't really equate imo. Obviously this discussion is lighthearted as we're just debating made up characters, so I'm not taking this seriously as it all just boils down to Selebus. However, I think the issue is not that girls wouldn't do this, but that she goes from 0 to 100 out of nowhere. This makes sense inside the resets, but not really in real life. While certainly possible to hit on a teacher for personal gain, to straight up flash him while having no experience whatsoever in sexual matters is uncanny. To go from that to sexual assault and blackmail is even more so.

Aside from that, and giving my two cents: I agree that Futaba is one of the most realistic ones, but rather than Kirin, I'd add Otoha to the mix.

In fact, for all my distaste of her, she behaves exactly like a common teenager. In what world wouldn't she develop a crush on Niki and "shoot her shot", as the youngsters say, given the chance? Rin, for all I love her, puts herself time and time again in a position to be taken advantage of, and that's what Otoha does. As, sadly, a lot would in her situation. "A girl is throwing herself at me, while the one I want doesn't even see me, and I can use this person to get some experience to maybe have a better shot at Niki? Count me in". I wasn't always a mature old goth chick, and I don't know if in Otoha's position (and mainly age) I'd have acted differently. Well, I never cheated on a partner, so probably not that, but for all the rest, I don't know. So yeah, I think she's very realistic.

Anyways, I understand that Kirin displays traits of a normal teenage girl but most teenage girls, don't quote me on this since I never been one, try to deal with their desires in more of a method that fits their environment, in which case kirin doesn't fit any of those categories, she's written to be a female pervert to contrast her vanilla sister; if maybe there was more backstory on their family, there would be a better foundation for this discussion, but as of right now, if we're talking about realistic teenagers with this game, I believe it could be Futaba, and Otoha although I dread having to admit it.

Otoha has a completely ordinary home, is treated like a prince and crushed on by mostly everyone, is loved by virtually everyone (until the Rin stuff), and has virtually the most famous Idol giving her vocal lessons. Basically nothing has gone wrong for her, her entire life.

She's like a Mary Sue self insert by a teenage girl. I wouldn't be that surprised if she showed up with a vampire boyfriend from canada, then had to save prom from the rich girls or something.

Kirin seems like just a typical girl with a sister that makes her feel inferior, to me. I think you're underestimating just how irrational humans can be when they aren't happy with their lives, and want to be "enough" for someone.

I'd also consider Chika, Rin, and Yumi more realistic than Otoha, tbh. Chika is basically just my mother, except more stable lol.

Edit: let's also not forget that Otoha is basically a prodigy, that even the top Idol around sees potential in.

Edit 2: Actually Yumi is kind of fairy tale-ish as well. Even ignoring the Yakuza Princess stuff, the fact she's actually not given in to prostitution or drugs, is admirable as fuck. Basically every Yumi (male and female) I've known has, well, made Yuki look good.
