That I understand, and it is not that it won't make sense; it's just something unfavorable and narratively weak for me. Up until a certain point in Ch3, a good portion of the game revolved around Sense being nameless and him rolling with his name being just Sensei because he couldn't do otherwise in the isekai he got reincarnated into. In addition to that, there have been girls who unbelievably did not know his name some time before they either heard it from someone else or started knowing out of nowhere (namely, Futaba and Imani). Because of this, I am stringent when it comes to "who knows, and has the game demonstrated how someone knows". TLDR is that because how this game started, I semi-dislike the idea of his name becoming a common knowledge simply because people talk off-screen.

You know, it reminded me the recent talk in this thread about how we shouldn't use AKIRA when we talk about Sensei.
Once we learnt his name we start using it more and more until it become a common knowledge amongst regulars.
The same can be said about characters in the game. Once they learnt his name it stopped being a secret, so they started using his name as something normal, despite the fact that his name was secretive for the rest of the game.

I liked how this was once treated almost like a forbidden knowledge; it often felt like a special advancement in Sensei's relationship with a certain girl when the name was revealed. But it would appear that either I have been massively misjudging its importance the whole time, or Selly stopped caring about being thorough in this particular aspect and start littering his name like free candies.

I've been quite frustrated that the name thing went from important to just barely or not even noteworthy. I was looking forward to every reaction about learning it. A fellow reader observed that while progging the game this was the kind of update you'd blast through and be ready for more, yet now we must cruelly wait. That is pretty insightful. I almost brought it up. The same way they outright named her Ami Prime. The problem was there was a third thing I noticed too, but then I did some mass decrypting stuff and at the end forgot the third point. That entire sex scene kinda read like he was poking the fanbase a little, I wouldn't say outright mocking it.

But I also don't know if the Lilcord uses the same names there or not, or if it was a f95 specific poke.

It was both. Niki has definitely said the name you chose a bunch of times because at least one scene references your name with others, and you see times where the game censored her dialogue because he wasn't ready for it.

Noriko has mentioned saying both names infrequently and is surprised 'he' never heard it.

Maya made it a point to not say his name.

Chika has been trying to find out his name for a year.

The KK asset used for Akira's bedroom is an extremely present asset in KK, sooooooooo many other AVN's use it, it's practically the default bedroom for the MC most of the time. One thing that has always bugged the ever living hell out of me though is how the the blanket is 3/4's on the floor, no one ever changes that, so is it simply unchangeable? A static asset that no one has made an edit for a mod or something?
