Same here, I got tired of Dorm Wars I believe the fourth time around, and the good kid music was one of the things I just couldn't stand honestly, no audio mixing no nothing just raw dogging it, listen I like the band but it needed to fit and it really didn't, not to mention what's the point of a dorm event without a sensei judge?
Anyways a lot of strange decisions been made with Dorm Wars and honestly, I would prefer more individual events happening, but from what I see, there might be more of that within these chains of events so I'm getting slightly hyped, I just hope I'm not getting my hopes up to be heartbroken.

There's only one funny thing in that entire update with the good kid music, Selebus making atrX canon in his game (developer of Lost in You, who got called out for no reason, because both games are there own separate stories and LiY just looks 100x better)

I liked the one that got remixed for Sensei Quest, that was the only one I thought kinda fit some of where it was used. I ended up just playing on mute for most of that Dorm Wars though lol

As long as Sensei's there this time and there's no Nodokathon or whatever we've taken to calling it I'll be happy enough I think

LessonsInDissonance posts one on update day, search for them. I checked they have a 0.47 and a 0.46 save.

I am become sorcerer, thanks for the base file. Updated it so it shows only the song defined as music, and only stops when said song stops or a new one starts playing. Won't show any sound effects, though.
Also, going by what little I understood of the one other file I opened, apparently you can define sound effects to loop until you tell them to stop, like music, and more than one channel for sounds too, I think, but that seems like high level renpy.
EDIT: Backscrolling support added, no promises it won't break if Sel does something.
EDIT 2: Electric Boogalooing into your settings, because I realized it'd show in screenshots and at least I didn't want it.
EDIT 3: Silent edit because apparently something breaks even when it's a default, also I didn't know you could global like that. The second, less heavy, file is the new one, leaving the old one just in case someone understands what's happening.

Going into replays often caused an error you could press ignore to get past. I just added a check to see if that variable was defined before using it.

Need to come up with a proper name for the mod so we can search for it, but I couldn't resist the joke.

I think a lot of people were "traumatized" about what the last dorm war was (which I don't take away from their reason, as it's still in my top 1 of the worst updates) but I think we should give this dorm war a chance, like, the previews are showing that it probably won't be 100% boring so I think we should at least give it a chance.

(I'm commenting on this because I've read several comments from people criticizing it, saying that this update won't have anything interesting.)
