Chika got held back, while Rin "bumped up"/skipped ahead. Rin should probably be in Middle school/Junior high.

This would make nearly every girl in their grade around a year older than Rin, and up to a year younger than Chika. With Chika close to two years older than Rin.

In other words: Rika probably cockblocked her 14 year old.

Not me. Her talk with Rin was the most enjoyoble event for me in that update. She jumped multiple tiers in one update. And i don't mind her not reading other messages too.

Ami deletes all of your incriminating photos/texts before giving back your phone. I know the game still lets you access them but, canonically, there is nothing for Rika to find.

If you trade nudes there's a whole scene where you have to access your computer and remotely download your photos of Niki from it onto your phone for the trade.

This is also why I was disappointed Rika didn't find the nude Otoha sent you because I felt it was the perfect setup for it.

You died --> Maya contracts with a lesser god to bring you back --> higher god gets mad at Maya for fucking with fate and punishes her with resets --> The resets change the girls memories but their affection for sensei does not reset --> Maya has to watch you fuck all of her friends while suffering --> You earn the favor of higher god (during one of the puzzle events) --> Higher god loosens his punishment on Maya --> You lose favor of higher god (happens sometime after said puzzle event) --> higher god starts fucking your shit up again --> You are here.

The point is that the girls being smitten with you is part of the punishment for Maya. This is also why the girls can't kill themselves because it would be one less person to make Maya miserable.

As far as the girls attitudes towards Sensei goes my assumption at the moment is just that the god God knows how many cycles of reformatting has affected their perception and some of their previous experiences and impressions bleed through - which is kind of how Maya describes things early on with her hard drive analogy and which we kind of see to an extent with Yumi who seemingly recollects more and conflates her prior Sensei experiences with current Sensei.

I do really like the idea that the whole thing is just an elaborate punishment for Maya though lol I don't think that's the case at the moment but I can see it.

Well yes it is, but there’s bound to be better opportunities later is what I meant by that. Plus we have actual stakes involved in it now that Rika found the messages, which adds more suspense at the end of the day.

Edit: Even were that not the case, one of Selebus things is playing with what you can and cannot see - as evidenced by the previous event (which cannot be seen fully at replay). Even though I dislike this approach, I doubt he'd carelessly allow the player to see every cellphone message if Akira didn't have them anymore, without a reason.

I was hyped up for Wakana events sensei's talk with Maki. Right now he can talk about his trauma with Sekai without running away or blackout.

His talk with Wakana would be interesting because:
-Wakana knows about his trauma
-Wakana knows about the cause of trauma
-Wakana knows about the connection between Ami and Sekai (i don't remember if she made any comment about Ami's outburst in the classroom)

With all these knowledge her talk with him would be more than just "sorry for you, you are a good person at heart, hope you get better" and more about Sekai, apart from Sensei's memories/delusions.

Soooo... 0.50 would be more about girls from the Akira's past like Maya, Niki, Noriko and Ami. Maya, Ayane and Yumi kinda have connection through RAS, but I think Yumi is more connected with Yuki events rather than RAS thing.

I didn't save the old 0.49 roadmap though. IIRC, there were Ami events and someone's else. But I would like to see what will happen with Rin and Io here... Imagine seeing their event titles pink.

I meaaaaaaaaaaaaan even in the latest update you can still talk to Ayane about Maya Prime via the rooftop picture. If you're trying to say the dev wouldn't make a mistake like that my answer is: He 100% would.

In Taint the Sapling you are explicitly told Ami wipes everything and I'd say any inconsistency that arise from that are because the dev got lazy. If you want an in universe explanation: The Uta picture gets resent any time you delete it.

I'm confused by this post.

You can "talk" to Ayane about Maya Prime because it's a conversation that was supposed to be had then. So is every other message, you can review them as it was when the conversation was supposed to have happened - this is by design. You're not talking to Ayane about this now, as neither are you talking to Makoto about her putting a dildo in her mouth right now either. Regardless, this has nothing to do with Ami wiping things or not.

And in Taint the Sapling "you are explicitly told that Ami wipes everything" and that Akira put it all back.

Yeah, that is something I'm looking forward to as well; seeing how the other adults fine out about Akira and the order they find out. There will likely be a big difference with reactions in hearing about his relationship with Sekai first over his relationship with the girls.

Although I guess it would just be Maki, Yuki, Rika, Imani, and Wakana. Since Sara, Haruka, Tsubasa and Osako. And judging by that group, the others might not freak out as much as we would think.
