I used to be one of those people who would always post a save file when someone asked for it, but nowadays I completely understand why some people don't. ;-;
So ermm .. haven't play this since the Maya reset, is she back(in any form) yet? Or we're still stuck with the new one

Maya Prime seems to have survived but is currently contained in a sort of prison (replica of heaven), under AmIOkay's supervision (during Noriko's TSS).
We've also seen alternate Maya Prime during the most recent reset. She interacts with our Ayane and Yumi for a while.
Present day Kumon-mi only has New Maya though.
Edit: Had confused AmIOkay and Long Maya, it is now fixed.

Hmmmm, very interesting information. I had no idea that there was a possibility that Maya Prime had survived and was in a replica of paradise. Could you go into more detail about this, please? Like what information from the game led you to this conclusion. And also, who is Long Maya? What would Noriko's TSS be? Sorry for the thousand questions, it's just that I really don't remember that and I would like to understand more because Maya Prime is my favorite character and I was anxious for her possible return. And thanks for informations![/SPOILER]

All he would have to do for now is leave the state. But given the way things are going, he might want to have his eyes on an island home as a backup plan, just in case. Just make sure that island isn't Australia.

Thank you for all the explanation and detailing everything in an extraordinary way, I was able to understand the whole theory, and it makes a lot of sense. I wasn't very hopeful about Maya Prime's return, but with this theory I got much more excited! So, in short, Maya is trapped in heaven (classroom) with AImOkay. Do you have any idea how she could get out of there? Something related to the scarf of the alternative Maya Prime that Himawari took? Sorry for the thousand questions, I saw that you understand a lot about the story and I wanted to understand it too.

I think I figured out what feels off to me about chapter 4. The chapter feels like that one season of a show where an obscure Youtuber makes a 5-hour long video essay titled: "___'s newest season was filled with the highest highs and lowest lows."
On one hand, some of the best moments in the entire game happens in this chapter, recontextualizing all once thought to be true without making it feel like a retcon.
On the other hand, it really feels like the characters have been on autopilot most of the chapter. For example:
And in cases where a character does do something, it sort of feels rushed. For example:
It really feels like the chapter is building up to something big, but the characters aren't where they need to be emotionally and mentally for it, and there's a fuck ton of characters to write for so it has this weird feeling of simultaneously being long and rushed at the same time. If this all feels shoddily written, that's because it is. It's just an emotional spew as I work out why Chapter 4 feels so weird to me.

Since we know Himawari is going around collecting things and putting thing sin places to make events in the time loop happen I.E Maya's scarf. Does that mean Shota getting shanked is canon to the time loop? Also does that mean Himawari stabs Shota every reset? Also also does that mean the last thing Shota hears is "Business as usual Cheif"?
