Right, I forgot you couldn't visit Maya in the shrine anymore (BRING HER BACK SEL) I really wanna be able to see her there again. At this point, any event where Akira spends time with Maya and not in a negative way, whether it be lewd or not, is a win for me.

Here's what i do, when i download the update-only patch i open the folder before merging it with the main one, if there is new music i give it a skim listen and if anything has lyrics, i swap it out for something else from LiL that's similar in tone but without lyrics, just make copies of that better track then copy+paste rename it to the lyrical song and replace it. Then, whilst you play, you never even know what was swapped and can fully immerse yourself in the update. Good update, but honestly, fuck Selly and his dumbass music choices since Good Kid... he was pretty damn good with music until that update.

Her pocket dimension is rather small and might be hidden from corporation, considering she is a rule-breaker and can possibly know where to hide it from gods' gaze.
But what made me uncomfortable is a huge fucking Moon. Did someone notice it? After all it would mean a huge entity (whoever represents itself as a White Moon) found Terminal 23 and to extension Himawari's little world amusing, since the entity didn't react at all. This could lead to a disaster where Himawari could possibly disappear for real because of hee being an anomaly born by anomaly.
Or the White Moon can be... Himawari herself, an actual Himawari, not her copy in that world. But I have no proofs to any of my words.
That's what I am talking about. Hima-chan's existence is just an anomaly... Well, if we exclude obvious time-travel stuff, which is an anomaly in 99% of fiction stories.
But again, even if Himawari is a wish just like Maya... It doesn't mean they're not real at this point. They made of flesh and blood, they have feelings. Sensei made the same point after all.
Yes! I'm going to stay with this headcanon/theory that Himawari is the wish made by Ayane.
After all, what Ayane wants the most? A happy family, loving daughter with Akira. Alas, it couldn't be possible in Terminal 23 (or whatever this world called), which is why she possibly wish for her child to be born outside of this hell. So Himawari became a manifestation of what Ayane's PERFECT daughter would look like, yet she's not from this world. She just popped into existence just like Maya, but unlike Maya she popped outside of Kumon-Me and Terminal 23 in general.

So is "Our Akira" Akira 1, 2, or >3?
Akira 1 is ostensibly OG "Real World". People who live in the worlds who are not specifically created by the wish seem to be considered "Real People" along with the inhabitants of the OG world. OG world people seem to have a "higher status" then the "normal people" of all the other worlds given how Himawari speaks about them. Regardless, the wish world generated people seem to count as "real" in that wishes can be granted.
Since we now have hard evidence the Himawari is a real flesh and blood daughter, doesn't her definition of who's "normal people" mean that she can come from a world created by a wish?
If she originates from a wish world, wouldn't that make her existence as a "real person" (whose own wish is also demonstrably shown to work without any surprise) be true no matter how far down the rabbit hole she comes from?
With that in mind, the world really IS breaking because of Maya. "Our Maya" is Maya 2 from World 3 (Our current broken world).
Maya 1 was created as a Wish by World 1 "OG" Akira, which brings with it by default a new world (World 2). Everyone outside of Maya 1 is considered a "real Person" whose wish can be granted. Maya 1's Akira commits suicide, and she wished for the repeating Freshman year world the game is set in. Our World, World 3.
This should not be possible, given Maya 1 is a wish given form and not a "Real Person". However, since Maya 1's love/wish was so strong it somehow worked breaking the laws of reality. This is what gives the world its unstable nature.
Maya Prime (Maya 2) building belief of Sensei being the ACTUAL Sensei throughout Act 1 pushes her mind to the breaking point. She's insanely hopeful/certain that it really is him after receiving the scarf, but also immediately calls herself "the unluckiest girl in the world".
I think she always knew exactly why she was the unluckiest girl in the world.
Prime Maya (Maya 2) knew it was a wish world. She lied to us the whole time to a greater extent then we thought. Parallel timeline Maya admitted to experimenting with girls and various relationships in the parallel timeline whereas our Maya said differently. Parallel Maya also pointed out a handful of Prime Maya's other half-truths/lies. Everything deeply related to the nature of the world that was learned from Prime Maya has to be looked at with doubt in mind.
She knew that her Sensei's were always going to be imitations with varying imperfections. It seems whatever went wrong in Himawari's timeline caused Sensei's "soul" to "become available" and by pure chance manifested in the the Prime Maya wish world.
She finally got what she truly wished for, her real Akira. He now existed in her personal infinite world. She had only known for millions of years nothing but disappointment "fake" Akira's. Her codependency and jealousy skyrockets.
We see this essentially in most everything she does and says, always half truths and withholding information that parallel Maya freely passes with. Prime Maya and Parallel Maya both readily admit to being capable of sociopathic decisions/sacrifices, what's a lie here and there to them?
Prime Maya's (Maya 2) story of Vega and Altair is just a less sad version of her existence. At least Altair and Vega got to see each other once a year. Prime Maya (Maya 2) had literally zero hope/interactions with the "Real" Akira save for her memories of (ostensibly) Akira 2 that came from Maya 1's world.
But this is where I reach an impasse.
Both Prime Maya and Himawari seem to claim "Our Akira" as the "real" one to them. Prime Maya's "real" Akira would have to be the same as OG Maya's Akira right? That would infer our Akira is Akira 2. However, if that's true, how does Aoyama timeline exist? Himawari claims in no uncertain terms to be the real flesh and blood daughter of "Our Akira". But wouldn't that be Akira 2 as well?
How can we be both the Akira that leaves with Ayane, and the Akira that commits suicide in Maya 1's world?

Side Note
I've read a lot of criticism of the writing here, not all unwarranted, for Chapter 4. We get indecisive Akira being sadder and more apathetic then ever, and you can certainly feel the "pause" in the plot progression.
But being able to play through a lot of those seemingly irrelevant and/or plodding events in 1 go instead of waiting each month for the next update gave me an entirely different impression, as I started with .51 and was lucky to skip the waiting.
I can absolutely see them as "frivolous" if I read Chapter 4 in more drip feed fashion. That gets really frustrating after a while, as anyone who was apart of the JJK leaks during peak 236 days can tell ya.
After 2 playthroughs, I think updates like this one give all the benefit of the doubt thats needed. So what if the lore gets a little squirrely. So what if it seems slow. If it gives us more character moments like this update I'm all for it.
This update hit like a ton of bricks. It gave tremendous plot progression and some of the saddest scenes (Himawari resets Akira and Ayane) in compensation for some of the happiest (Entirety of first part of the update).
This is easily a top 3 event chain in the game no matter how you look at it, its self evident.
All and all this was an absolute banger. From character moments to plot progression, I cant think of a more deeply relevent update.

Not an anomaly, but a really surprising conjunction of event, yes.
Still, I get what you're saying. It doesn't feel right. And if I don't give my hope into a wish from Ayane, this is absolutely possible. Even my «perfect-meter» was about to burst during that update! Just like with Ami.

I'm not gonna hurt my head trying to theorycraft with the rest of the lunatics in here (though I will absolutely lurk and read their theories), but that was probably the best update the game has ever had.
It was a good update. There are a lot of new lore and a lot of new questions.

Bro forgot Ayane is literally the only RAS member who always tried to find an exit out of the loop and who is always proactive in the main events. Meanwhile Ami always slowing down the plot by wanting to keep Akira depressed as fuck and NOT wanting to leave the timeloop.
