That being said, with what we now know, she kind of has to be back by the start of Chapter 5, right? I expect they'll break out of her wish world before the dark route (hence the changed rules) and certainly before the purity routes, and I don't see how we can get closure on her world if she isn't around.
One can only hope, otherwise I don't see us having enough time to hit plot points that have been hinted at in the past. I'm really hoping her purity route is just her being able to enjoy herself instead of having all of her backstory explained there.

To be honest, isn't this is how Sensei was in all the chapters? Chapter 1 Rin was asking sensei how everyone likes him without him making an effort. Chapter 4 Sensei complains to Uta how he gets away with everything and no consequence for his horrible actions.

Depressingly, I don't think we've advanced much in the understanding of Nao-chan. But from this research maybe someone can go further, or we just have to wait and see.
I think Himawari is on "aunt Ami"'s side, there is an old event where she appears beside 3 or 4 Ami clones, and she says she likes "aunt Ami" and probably knows she is actually "big sister Ami".
Just don't know what exactly she gains from it, probably there are some hidden clues on "her world".
