VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Lewd Idol Project [Final] [Toffer Team]

I can't really say Lewd Idol Project is a bad game, but I can't find myself to get interested in it either. The MC cries way too much and whines too much for me to have any interest in her and her story, and the stuff happening around her isn't more interesting either.

Technically the game is fine, with beautiful 2D anime-style art, and a decent sound, with some of the conversations even being voice acted.

But that, unfortunately, was not enough for me, and I've left the game pretty soon. 3,5/10

TL;DR = interesting idea, sometimes it will make you laugh. Unfortunately very short.

+ Girl wants to have a success as idol, but she fails at doing it normal way... so she decided to follow really perverted (female) manager and do it the lewd way. Basically she starts being idol that will slowly turn into (softcore?) porn actress.
+ Story is sometimes so ridiculous that it will make you laugh. I really enjoyed it.
+ Her manager is really perverted so expect of lot of yuri (lesbian) action.
+ Game has also a lot meme and culture references. Once again it will make you laugh. Example: I lol'ed at mention of starting OnlySimps account (OnlyFans, duh).

Art: 4/5
+ Main heroine is very cute.
+ Sex scenes are usually interesting.
- Art has usually high quality. But there is an exception: female genitals. They look really simple compared to rest of body.

Gameplay 2/5
+ This is pretty straighforward VN with choices.
- Unfortunately choices usually dont matter. Its mostly just some flavour text.
- The game has some minigames, but they feel pointless. You have option to play minigames, but only thing you can obtain are images of some "GACHA figurines"... I dont get the point of those games.
- Sadly the game is too short. (this is only volume 1!!!). The story is basically just 2 photoshoots, 1 karaoke training and few sex scenes. Thats not much.

To sum it up:
Interesting story, sometimes so ridiculous it will make you laugh. But its too short. I want more!
Beware that this game is just so called "Volume 1". It will end really soon.

Good art and fun characters. Some audio voice acting but not fully voiced. The lack of gross farting sex sound effects is always appreciated. Cute moans during the sex scenes helps sell them. A bit short but worth the 7$ price tag. Good Yuri titles are rare and this one is up there.

The story is well written and does not degrade into long multipage ramblings and keeps the action coming with plenty of sex scenes.

However it does suffer from the pointless choices that most of these renpy games have. It has a few very simple mini games that are completely irrelevant to the game. One for getting plushies and one strip karoke. Neither succeeding or loosing has any effect on the story.
