This strikes me as kind of a testing-the-waters release. One person doing the art and programming naturally wants to start small, and as far as games go it doesn't get much smaller than this.

I dunno. If it were me, I might consider having two or three releases like this ready before trying to spin up interest with a Patreon. I mean, on one hand this is one finished game, which is probably more finished games than a whole lot of groups get through. On the other hand, it doesn't do much to set up expectations going forward. I mean, it's a basic little icon-grabber, and probably the art assets took the longest to generate I'm guessing. It's not VERY far removed from a sample game from a tutorial.

Still, it's up to the dev to decide when they do or don't flip the Patreon switch. It looks like they have at least some development done on their next project, so if they have a steady stream of content from that to trickle out to their Patrons they can probably keep interest up. I hope they don't intend to be a house that generates a lot of disappointing basic-gameplay-then-you-get-a-porn games, because their art style is kinda neat and I have a weakness for animal ear people, although the :3 gets a little weird if it's overused.

I think everyone who is complaining that its bland and boring and lacks content needs to know that this was a submission for a lewd jam on itch.io and those contests only give people a month to make and submit a game. So really, it isn't too bad for something that was likely made in a couple of weeks as a quick thing, especially when most submissions are usually shitposts because most people don't have enough time to do something expansive in a month. The jam page for it also states that this game was submitted 4 hours before the deadline so I would bet they started relatively late since it almost didn't make it in.

For what it is, a very simple platformer, it's not that bad. Also going off their patreon and itch.io this game is pretty much their jump into becoming a developer so might be good to keep an eye on this name and what they might have in store for the future. Although I will say, even though some people are being too harsh on this considering its more of a quickie type game, 16 bucks on their patreon for access to project downloads is a little fucked, so we'll see how far they actually get considering the lack of decent rewards on patreon.

This is super fucking adorable and chill, oh my goodness.
The ending could've just been her sitting down and having tea and a cut to black, I loved the silly music loop and the art and colours.
Only shame is it's only one level but if this is a test release for a bigger project I'd love to support the maker.

That's not really a reason to give it one star either, you gotta rate it for what it is and what it is honestly is just a quickie. If you rated it for what it is instead of comparing it to something that's meant to be a multiple hour investment then it's not as bad as you say it is. Nobody is saying this game deserves 5 stars because its the next Legend of Queen Opala or some junk, people give it a good rating because it looks nice and has a quick simple concept. The pixel art is cute, the idea is simple, only takes like 5 minutes and the file size is small. I fail to see what the issue is.

I see where people are coming at with only one scene available and people want more but it makes sense considering its a quick game made in a few weeks. It was clearly never meant to be anything bigger than a quick practice game and it should be judged for that, and I think it did well in that regard. Platforming felt nice, the porn was alright, and the pixel art is great.

The only thing bothering me is her "glide" action, it's frustrating, I prefer "double jump" or something else

That's some good context. It shows that the dev is able to work within a rigid timeframe, which is really better than just finishing a game to begin with. I usually have somewhat mixed feelings on the game jam things--lots of neat little games tend to pop up from them, but they're by necessity little and sorta end up feeling like teases. I mean, that's not the intention of the game jam thing at all, I know, but it's kind of a product of the necessity of a game being developed in a tiny timeframe.

You gotta have some issue to not realise what it is, and for what it is it's really good.
I'm saying this assuming you're coming off of 99999 horribly unfinished projects in Patreon and it's understandable you'd be upset.
But this is A/ Not a Patreon project and B/ A tiny thing someone made for fun, it's finished like the tag says [Completed] because it's meant to be a single level.
You're making yourself angry so you can complain about it and that's sad.
There's better things to do as a hobby, man.

Probably the main fact that you and everyone else keeps overlooking. It was made in less than a month for a contest so they were kind of forced to make it short and sweet to enter it properly. You know, as it was intended to be? All you people seem to overlook the fact that it was literally never meant to be a full 20 level game or something like that.

It is as it is intended to be in both length and content.

There is literally nothing wrong with a game being short if its intended to be short. Its not like this is a game with 30 minutes to an hour of platforming with only a single scene as a reward. You literally complete it in five minutes and there's nothing wrong with that. The developer can expand upon it if they so choose, such as the dev for

is doing, but that doesn't change the fact that it is as it is intended and you people keep comparing it to full multi month/year developed games.

Man, I hope this dev does more. Expands on this game, even. I adore the character, the art style- almost everything about this game, other than the seriously disappointing lack of content. Here's to hoping this is just a barebones test of a bigger future project along these lines. (With spritesex, I sincerely hope) As it is, it was cute, funny, charming, and had a lot of promise, but I found myself very let down at the end.

I really don't understand why you'd be so angry at this and why anyone would rate it 5 stars in the first place. When it clearly doesn't offer anything noteworthy. Its just not a good game and that is okay, the dev can always improve.
Also its not like this whole thing falls apart over night over some bad ratings. The sprite art is good, he or she can even animate. Just add a couple of more levels, make a few obstacles, since its a H game add some animated H scenes and there you go a decent game. Easily worth 3 or even 4 stars. But how it is now there is nothing there, if I could give it 0 stars I would have done so to be honest.

Yeah well the point is that the game is just a single level, it's barely even a game.
People are judging it off their own expectations that they'd get a 30 level super campaign of some sort and rating it badly because of their own assumptions not being met, this is partly the fault of the OP not being clear enough that it is a single level.
It's a fairly long and varied level though, with lots of hidden nooks and crannies, good music, and good art.
Rate it what you want but rate it for what it is, not what you want out of it, it was never meant to be more than that.
For being a single level and not trying to be anything more than it is it's 5 star worthy, if you're gonna be that childish about it make your own 30 level game in a month and rate it 5 stars.
If anything this'll discourage the author from doing any more work because of the hacks that play the game forcing their expectations on the work and getting angry when they're not met, despite there being no real incentive to begin with for the author to even make the game other than learning to code for a fun contest.

He made a patreon page and it doesn't matter how much time he put into this. If its not fun, its not fun. There are no big expectations to this, even if it is just one level and only supposed to be a tech demo, there is simply nothing there that makes it interesting, let alone good.
Not to mention that he does call it a "full" game but if that is the complete full game, well sorry but its not good and completely lacking. Not only that it finishes fairly quickly but also since there is nothing there that makes it a game. Doesn't matter what kind of expectations there are.
I can play a round of Chess on the easiest difficulty against the AI and have more fun than playing this. Maybe I swap out the figures on the board with anime chicks and there you go Hentai Chess. More entertaining than this.
If he just wants to learn how to code, good for him I guess. Maybe the code of the game is a true marvel of this day and age. Its still a boring "game." If you can even call that a game.

I dont think you understand what "Full" means, it means its complete, not that its the next GTA game.
