Some of you may wonder why exactly we have discontinued A Very Small Business, and why we will soon relaunch it as My Life with Laura.
Unfortunately, there is no short answer to this question.
Therefore, we start herewith a series of posts to explain our motives and what exactly we plan to accomplish with My Life with Laura.
The latter, of course, we do only as far as we would not spoil you with giving secrets of the plot away.
So, let us start at the beginning.
In the beginning, God said there would be light...
Wrong text! - So once again.
In the beginning, Grabiobot created a game with a promising business model around a nameless protagonist and his girlfriend, Laura.
This protagonist will no longer remain nameless, and already with the next story, he will get a name.
We had briefly thought about allowing you to name the protagonist yourself but eventually decided against it due to a better coherence with the envisioned background. From a technical point of view, it would have been possible with some effort, as well as an individual naming of all female characters of our games, but we are of the opinion that this effort is not worthwhile.
Therefore, we stick to the name we have chosen for him.
However, this will not be the only change the protagonist will undergo.
Since AbyssalEros is on board, a lot has changed for our two main characters.
Among other things, we have begun to give both characters a broad background, to make them more vivid.
Above all, AbyssalEros wanted to make Laura more loveable, because her anger towards the protagonists of AVSB was not entirely comprehensible and her behavior, therefore, seemed a bit too bitchy. You surely remember the demand for the daily removal of the garbage and her refusal to talk to the protagonist when he was not showered.
For this reason, he has already written a prologue that was initially supposed to be released with AVSB 3.2, which outlines how the current situation came about and should explain both Laura's and the protagonist's behavior.
As soon as we really get going with the relaunch, this prologue will be the first you will get to see and read from My Life with Laura. It will show you the flair of the game and why we changed the name of it.
However, we still have a lot of work ahead of us.
Though, you will meet both of them already in the upcoming, naturally very belated, story, which takes place about three years before the beginning of My Life with Laura.
In this story, you will not only experience their first Valentine's Day date with each other and the hot events later in the evening but also learn a lot about both of them, especially about the protagonist, who will then no longer be nameless.
Nevertheless, let us return to the actual changes.
Since we had received some comments on the appearance of the AVSB protagonist, which suggested that he was not very well received, and our own muses did not want to bed with him either, we decided to give him a new look. One that is more attractive for women and at the same time fits in better with the developed background.
And honestly, our muses are so happy with his new appearance that they hardly leave him to us long enough to create some teaser renders for you.
Now we come to what at least the men might be more interested in, let us come to Laura.
Those of you who have been around for some time will know that we were not satisfied with the look of Laura either. Grabiobot had even done a survey on her appearance, but there was no clear result, and so Laura stayed as she was.
Up to now.
AbyssalEros and our muses were especially not pleased with Laura's make-up and breasts. The rest of Laura's appearance, however, was already well received. Therefore, we have limited ourselves to improving only these points of criticism and otherwise kept Laura at her original appearance.
With the achieved result, we are all entirely at peace, and we think that you too will be totally blown away by this new Laura.
However, before we let you have a look at our couple, let us briefly tell you that in future episodes of this series we will deal with some other points, which should explain our motives for the relaunch and show you why we need so damn long for it.

Today we have a little teaser for you regarding our next short novel.
As you all know, we are working hard behind the scenes on the relaunch of AVSB, which will be released as My Life with Laura at some point in the future.
Of course, we cannot really tell you at this time exactly when MLwL will be released, but we promise it will be definitely released.
In order to avoid an unbearably long wait, we are working at the same time on the other two projects of our Trinity of Projects, to supply you nonetheless with naughty stuff in the meantime.
In this way we also make sure, that we will not run into issues during the relaunch, as we will by then have tested all code of the revised engine and all additionally implemented features.
While Grabiobot is busy coding, he also renders the graphics for the next story from our anthology, Lewd Stories of Trinity.
This story, called First Valentine’s Day Date, is a prequel to the events that will happen in My Life with Laura.
In this story, that will play three years before My Life with Laura, we will experience the first Valentine’s day date of our two main characters.
At that time, a few months after they first met, the two were still in university and were immortally in love with each other. And thus, we have the chance to experience how their relationship had been before it will get a crack prior to My Life with Laura.
As we have already introduced our two main characters to you in another post, you may wonder what we will show you today then.
We show you two more characters, which will first appear in FVDD and are much closer related to our two main characters than their first appearance might suggest.
You will, therefore, see both of them again in the future.

The Society of Lust has acquired a photo taken by Laura sometime after the events of First Valentine’s Day Date.
While you can find the original photo later in-game of My Life with Laura somewhere in the house of our two main characters, we will not give away where exactly, so that you have to find that out for yourself, when the time comes.
However, the more pressing question, for now, is what exactly are the implications of what is to be seen in this photo?
Since we are a little bit mean, we only show it to you here, but leave you about its nature in the dark.

Something happened recently in front of the secret base of the Society of Lust, which we do not want to withhold from you.
All members had gathered for an extraordinary orgy, um... meeting, when we heard our security staff being overrun and falling to the ground whimpering.
As we rose in surprise from our activities to see what was going on, we found that we were surrounded by some women who are intimately known to us.
Not a bad situation in itself, since we were just about to start the orgy, um... meeting.
Unfortunately, however, these lovely ladies had not come to play, as their angry faces, their raised banners, and their violent behavior made immediately apparent.
It was evident that we have wronged these women somehow, and so we had to postpone our orgy, – sorry, meeting – until this misunderstanding was settled.
In the end, it appeared that these women were not angry, but somewhat sexually frustrated, as they felt neglected by us in recent times.
In other words, the ladies were demanding more attention.
Thus, we, the Society of Lust, should give them more opportunities to present their lovely charms to you, while we should clarify as soon as possible that they still exist and are not removed from the cast of the relaunch.
After we formally apologized to them and vowed for betterment, they demanded additional satisfaction.
To emphasize this additional request, they turned their raised banners around to revealed different slogans to explicitly sustain their demand.
With an amused and naughty giggle, Farra Triss gave the demanded victim a push and thus AbyssalEros was directly transported into the arms and boobs of the neglected women.
Only hours later did they let go of their completely drained victim; after they had received their needed satisfaction from him.
And anyone who now thinks that his recent stay in hospital is connected with this event is probably quite right.

While Grabiobot is recovering very nicely, I am in contact with him per mobile, we are not lazy at all.
Grabiobot is still getting tired quickly, but alas not as much and as severe as right after his infarct and surgery, therefore, we try to make some small progress behind the scenes.
We actually can not work much on the actual project of First Valentine's Day Date, so we are discussing and outlining basic stuff for the relaunch of our main project, My Life with Laura.
At the moment, we experiment a bit more with the library of Hannah, you soon will see what we are preparing. Please, be patient with us.
I, myself, am using the rest of the time to learn and write.
Some of you know, that I am just recently, with the beginning of my friendship with Grabiobot, back to seriously communicate in the English language again.
I was, aside from some posts at VNDB and Patreon, not used to write English anymore since my past University days. Therefore, I am honing my skills like crazy each and every day to give you all a better reading experience in English.
For that, I have bought in the recent weeks a hell of a lot of grammar books and other books that should help me to hone my English proficiency back to their original level.
Moreover, I thrive to become even better, to be able to write someday my stories directly in English with the same skill I am used to in German.
As I cannot show you how I am actually learning, I have taken a photo of some of the books I have bought recently.
Also, I am writing several episodes and stories that will be later part of My Life with Laura or Lewd Stories of Trinity.
I cannot give you too many details about the stuff I write for My Life with Laura, but I can give you more information about one of the stories I am writing for Lewd Stories of Trinity.
Actually, it is a follow-up to the upcoming story, First Valentine's Day Date.
This story has the working title ‘The Graduation Party’, and it naturally describes the experience of our couple on that eve and night.
It has a lot of sexy action and provides a lot of information about several important characters along our couple. So far, the story has 3.926 words in German and is still not done; I am expecting, that it will reach something eventually around 10.000 words.
Compared with the upcoming story, it will be approximately twice as long, as First Valentine's Day Date has roughly under 5.500 words in German and a bit over that in English, while Love in the Clouds above Trinity had only 2.200 words in English.

Zoey is always aware of her surroundings, and she hardly seems to miss a detail. Lately, she appears to have developed an interest in how Hannah's sexual stimuli affect a certain new male in the library.
