Hello everyone!
This morning i decided to launch the thread for my project: Libertalia. It's the very beginning so no visual to share, i'm currently writing the story and working on the game concepts. I want to share with you my work but also find people to work with. I can't do all alone, especially art and animation where i don't have the skills.

About the project
Libertalia tell the story of a spatial colony, created by Ida, with the goal to have a safe place for people who just want to live freely, in an anarchist system, based on sexual liberty and built as a sex park.
I have main lines for a long story, who'll be cut in chapters. The first one take place in a spaceship, owned by the galactic federation, with the goal to deliver crystal orbs who allows the creation of gravity controlled areas. Ida appears in the ship and have to discover her own way through a hierarchical and paternalist system. The story will take you in a fun and luscious futurist world, where enchantment is blend with technology. I want to talk about a lot of subjects, like sexual liberty, consent, anarchy, tolerance between species and genders, hypocrism about a federal system who condemn sex liberty but allow a sex park in an hidden place. So the story is not only a lewd game but also a deep experience. And fap after all, be confident.
You'll find a lot of sex theme but, of course, no illegal things, no furry, not to much fetichism and absolutely no violence/non-consent acts because i'm not in tune with that. There'll be a little of domination and sexual business, especially at the at the beginning because it's the main subject of the game, how to allow sexual liberty with common consent and how to create a system who can protect people who want this liberty?
For technical choices it's, for the moment, a 3D isometric game, with a style like dofus, full of colors. I want to avoid the futurist/scifi/sad scifi we can see too often.I'm a big fan of art-nouveau and art-déco so maybe something in this type of visual representation can be very fine and original. For the sex scene i see 2D visual novel screens with animations perhaps. During the game we'll have an HUD and integrated dialog popups like FFtactics or Vagrant Story, but in a fully integrated and logical concept. As a webdesigner i'm really focus on user experience and logical design.
In my project, there'll not be asiatic visual novel style or daz 3D, not because i don't like it but because i need to propose something different, it's my way of working. And there's already plenty of these games. I also think lewd game is in a big changing period with better games, better story and a global opening on different styles.
About me
I created a first studio for the creation of a non-lewd game but i want to begin with the lewd one and find partners and go further as a team. I'm a former cad designer but i also worked as a webdesigner/graphist. I worked mainly in industry and i finished my career in project management. But stress and ADHD break my health and know i'm currently in lame jobs. So i'm very serious about my project, i have a lot of ideas and concepts, XP to manage them but i'm not a skilled artist and need support for programming. I have bases on python and knew very well HTML/CSS/JS, a little less PHP (wordpress...). I use a lot blender and begin to be natural with its use.
For the project i began to learn Unity few months ago but the last events on it i don't want anymore to continue with unity. I'm currently learning Godot who is very good but i'm also looking since few days on UPBGE (resurrection of the blender game engine) and don't know yet which one used. I'm hyped by UPBGE because i really love blender and have only one software for all the work is a huge advantage.
So for the software, it'll be at last Blender for modeling and animations, i hope it's efficient enough to do all, otherwise it's Godot.
Like i said, i search for partners so if you're interested by my project you can contact me here (for the moment). I'll make update of this thread to let you understand the story and concepts. I see it as a future fulljob (i hope and work for that) but i also need a cool and stressless working ambiance, so i need a team in tune with me. I'm french so i prefer work with people who also speak french but i can do it in english if not. I understand and talk a little spanish but i'm rusty and have to practice. My french preference is mostly because i think we work better when we have the same language and for the remuneration it's easier if we are in the same country and the same legal system, but it's not mandatory.
It can be cool to work with beginners like me, i just want serious people with a cool mindset.
I'm used to be well-organized and so the project will be. I prefer to lose time at the beginning to optimize working methods and be sure of the story and the art. If that part is ok, after it's easier, in all jobs the same.
For my job i'll take environment modeling, writting, game logics, game interface and the management/social side. My first goal is to make a demo with the beginning of the game and a full presentation of all the project, and with that create a Patreon or others system to find financial support and allow us to work fully on the project. And revenue will be shared between each members of the team.
