Life of holly is ever changing, with there always being one update at the end of every month and it's either on this game or Warlock of Lust that he is currently working on as of writing this review. While it certainly sucks that the development is slow, but it's understandable given how this doesn't really pay the bills and it's one person who is making everything. He even made the engine for this game.
Now as for the game, it's an amazing 3D experience putting you in a sims like experience where as Holly, you try to work your way through the world in various careers as being a nun, massager, waitress and more all while having some fun with everyone around in lots of different positions. All of this is happening while you meet various people that you can help out, like your elderly neighbour or the homeless guy down the street in addition ending up in very odd situations like becoming a cowgirl.
With Jake, the story is way more simplistic where it's his job to impregnate everyone but he has to work his way up the tiers to get higher class women. There is an interesting side story with him where he ends up meeting a rich businessman after ending up on local news, where he asks him to be with his daughter.
Now for the + and -
+ Great stories, with one being overly simplistic and gets to the point, and another giving just slightly more backstory
+3D environment where you can interact with everyone
+lots of various locations
+World environment where everyone does something different at various hours, ex. clubs opening up at night, stores working during the day, schools, open during school hours
+ Lots of various positions that you can try, with at least 20-30 minimum
+This is based off of Velesk's own engine he made from scratch which means he could do anything in it
- The models need a bit more detail, it's not necessary but it certainly would be nice, they look closer to sims 1
- It's a bummer that there is only one update a month, but Velesk is always consistent and does always give a good portion of content monthly
- For those looking for more story, this isn't the place, it's nothing like his previous work like his completed game Total Seduction or the other game he is currently working on at the time of writing this review Warlock of Lust
-A bit too grindy for my taste, although for those that donate a dollar, he does give cheat codes to skip the grind
Overall, if you can look past the graphics, this game is on the path to being excellent and fitting in that role of simplistic story 3D games.
