Not if they're turkish, then you'd get baklava. As to their background, yeah, they're supposed to non-western european, but as they're third/fourth generation, I'm not really pinning it down deliberately. Mediterranean, central Asian, Latin-American, it could be any one.

I agree, those girls are kinda ugly, but they have a certain appeal to them. Maybe it's 'cause the renders look decent.

Hmm, not quite what I was hoping for, but may also what I was hoping for, as I really wanted to go for a somewhat homely look.

First Contact was great. Do I need all 3 patches?

hey folks..do not judge on the graphics(i actually kind of like them) this is FUCKING GOOD..even the little details like the font matching the personality of the character..the dev has put some thought and work into this..its well written and very polished...definitely try it before you pass judgement on a couple preview shots.

Yeah, I guess I'm more familiar with the European types, I don't really know how an average Mayan descendant looks like.

Anyway, compared to many other games, these models are actually looking like humans. You know, proportions are within normal limits. No bubble- or shrunken heads, 30% longer legs or 100-300% larger breasts than an average human has and so on.
At least on one of the preview pics is quite a beauty, actually.

Word to the wise: this game contains:
No stat grinds or minigames.
No magical artifacts, stimulating potions or sleeping pills (although it starts out with a bit of a bender).
No hidden camera's, hacked laptops or cracked cellphones.
No photomodel characters straight out of an asset bundle.

Well, this is refreshing. This looks very interesting (Mr. Bond) they aren't classic beauties, but more...realistic? Approachable? Achievable? Slightly not out-of-my-league? 'Nooge.

Also, I actually Lol'd at "wards", "caregiver", and "guardian" *snicker* What are we, Porn Batman?

ok..finished the available content...this has to go down as one of the best first releases i've ever played...if the dev can maintain this level of quality writing renders and overall story this will be up there with the best of the best..only 1 release so too early to rate it..but so far its saying 5 stars to me..lol..after a couple minutes of play..you really start to appreciate and love the look of the dames...its so fresh..its not the same old game with a different title..

Crap. Well, it is doing some wonky transforms of about 4 4k pngs on top of a few full hd ones, but it seemed to behave well on my tests. I'll test some more thanks for the heads-up.

It doesn’t fall into any instant simplistic gratification and that’s for sure. I’ll give it a go and keep an open mind.
