RPGM - Completed - Lilith in Nightmare! [v4.1] [circle-tekua]

The animations are relatively decent and similar to Captive Alstroemeria which was my first circle-tekua game. The rpg system is quite addicting and rewarding as well. Although, the story is pretty far-fetched/cliche and sorta lost interest after chapter 3-2...

Some h-scenes were also unappealing to me.

I liked the gameplay with the 2 types of combat, don't know if it's rpgm, but the open world combat gives vibes of it's about to be really really good but falls a little bit short in that aspect. The succubus battles i would prefer that they gave more exp to be honest so it would be better to farm succubus fights instead of open world enemies and run from this second type of fights.

Early game can be more polished, as what i did was ignore every porn aspect of the game to enjoy beating the shit up of the bosses (LOL), so in that aspect was really fun, if it were for that, i would give it 5 stars (You can almost do boss rush if you ignore ALL the porn content), but that's a big problem if you try to just jerk off (Even tho you have the gallery fully unlockable at the start. But where is the essence)

In general a fun game, just lacks uncensoring so i can see those pussies in 240p and a little bit of polish with the balancing.

One of my favorite H games of all time. It's got a good mixture of ARPG fodder killing to grind levels and fun succubus H battles, along with optional level drain content for unique items and scenes. Animated sex scenes is awesome, and heightens the experience so much further than other games of its' type, though I shed a tear every night because of the mosaic censorship. Despite it though, I still find this game to be one of the most addicting and enjoyable RPGM experiences that H games have to offer. The story is not overbearing, simple, and adds to the experience without fully killing my boner. All the succubi are fun and unique, and from what I hear, many of them are continuations from other circle-tekua games, so you can go play those afterwards if you like them in here.

I highly recommend playing with the "difficult succubus battles" option turned on, and with the male MC. This ensures you get the most content and the most enjoyable experience, in my opinion. If you're not the type to enjoy gameplay and just want to rush through it and enjoy the sex, there's several options that make the game braindead easy. Also, I encourage players to push through the game's chapters rather than grind levels early. The further into the game you get, the easier it is to cap out at level 99. In the post-game, I could go from level 0 to 99 in a matter of like 20 minutes.

Lilith in Nightmare is a game I have came to and came back to many, many times over the last few years. I personally find it to be my favorite out of the three games I've played from this developer. In my opinion, this is a must-play for basically anybody, I can't recommend it enough.

The art and animation are good, and the two different combat styles are interesting, but the difficulty is so brutal that it distracts from the sexual content. Also, the energy drain mechanic means that you have to grind levels to make up for the levels you lost, which is a chore. I got as far as chapter 4, but I'm dropping the game because I'm just not enjoying it.

Art is okay, animations are nice, but balancing is total shit and tons of grind. You keep shooting at small mobs through narrow pathways with a bunch of turns in them for a bit of exp, in order to give your levels to NPCs, so you can grind more.
Then I hit some weird minigame where I have to dodge enemies and run past them in a narrow gap, if they touch you you lose like 1/6 of your life as your screen gets taken away, and then they touch you again instantly and repeat it because for some reason there's no cooldown for that in this section. Also invisible traps that disable your ability to temporarily KO enemies until you move enough, meaning that if there's an enemy in front of you on a 1 tile wide path you're just dead as the horde of unkillable zombies succubi close off your escape from behind. It's just beyond frustrating.
There's a shop but it sells nothing useful, not that you'd have much money to buy any of it anyways as the cheapest stuff costs 1k and you get like 100 per mob you kill. The map has randomly spawning sparkles that basically give better stuff than the shop anyways though (although it's random) so you're in an interesting position where you don't have money to buy much of anything, and there not being enough interesting things to spend money on.
There's no tactics in actual battle either, it's literally which element body part attack does the most damage, then spam that while healing every 2 turns. Oh you get a warning the enemy is charging up an attack, too bad you have literally 0 counterplay to deal with it, not even a defend button. You just tank it to the face and hope the RNG rolls high enough (I mean that literally, it rolls it in front of you and if you score below the threshold you eat like 1/2 of your health in damage, if you score above it does 0).
Other reviews are saying to use the item that cheats and bypasses the game, but if you're doing that, that kind of says something about how bad the game is doesn't it?

Game:
There are two aspects to the game; a top-down action rpg, like Zelda, and the art-heavy turn-based sex-battle thing that probably caught your eye.

Tips:
You can unlock everything in the gallery at the start of the game, from a fresh save, by simply entering it and selecting the option. It's in the first room after the first tutorial battle, which is itself skippable. So, fear not, for your perennial millennial worries of having everything given to you has already been allayed! Bust your nuts, my weak willed sons.

When easy mode is presented, you won't miss it, the game will ask you if horror, or jump-scares or some other crap, bothers you; saying NO will put you in a dark room where you can only see in an annoyingly small radius around yourself, while YES just lights up the room as normal. It isn't obvious that this is the choice you're making when you first make it but it was the largest impact for me.

Review:
Solid game; Great art, a functioning gameplay loop, a sufficiently complex UI, decent audio, and revealed mechanics (dice rolls).

Generally, the story is pointless for me in a porn game but this one doesn't have your eyes bleeding at adolescent humor or dated references. All dialogue, including those in animated scenes, skip when you press the commands (CTRL + Z) and forwards the scene properly, thankfully.

I kept encountering a bug where my display in the window would freeze up. I could still hear my inputs registering but the display wasn't refreshing. I learned to save often and so should you. (Tends to happen when I switch focus from the game)

There is too much grind without the easy mode items so use them.

Good game, definitely enough content for a few good faps. The power loss mechanics are fun; a little shallow, but there's enough there to paint a fappable picture of the situation.
The story is actually a real story, with actual emotions. At least toward the end.
All told, highly worth.

Finally, a step into the modern world of... RPG Maker MV! (well, by this point, MZ already existed, and now we also have Unite.... still, a jump of at 2 engine versions is a welcome change!). This one has a bit of a lesser focus on in-combat Level Drain mechanics, although it retains plenty of such mechanics outside of combat. The game is more of a continuous story with various areas to explore, battles on-map, this time using Projectiles instead of physical touch (hold "D" button to strafe! that might help to keep in mind), and a number of different events that can lead to H-Scenes and the Battle Fuck fights. Also, from this game onwards, literally all the animations are done in Live2D, there's not even an Idle CG that's not animated! Everything becomes all the hotter as a result! There are even a few Shrunk Vore scenes, too!
For story, you are a person stuck in a dream dimension, and your general goal is to try to defeat the cause of this circumstance of yours, the eponymous Succubus Lilith. Meanwhile, you'll find reoccurring characters from past games, and even some people from the outside world (outside of the Dream, that is). Funny antics and shenanigans ensue, including finding the strong Blonde Succubus again, the OP Sheep, and other threats along the way (even Torte and her sister!).

It's fun!

I like how the battle system is integrated with the story, puzzle, and seamlessly transition to H-scene.
The world is also fun and the reaction Npc have made them feel alive, not to mention the equipment description enhance the joke.

But honestly it felt lacking within some aspect, mainly the stakes.
While the story capture whimsical feeling of adventure, there's not really any urgency because of that, any enemy can't be taken seriously, even the hospital level doesn't capture the feeling it's going for (Silent Hill)

Full discretion, if you have a poor performance system like mine; prepare to save a lot.

I find it similar both quality of the game other than sexual content to another game called " the world a robot girl dreamed of".
Usually i dont like rpg games unless they re well made and this is enough well made.
Takes around 5-8 hours to finish? 10.
You can also grind a lot and make the game way easier.

This is my favorite sex game ever. I love the characters (especially Charlotte <3) and I loved the story. Maybe I'm high but it reminded me a bit of To The Moon.
I played the game with the item that makes you oneshot enemies in the overworld, it had made the game much more enjoyable. The sex battles with the succubi are top tier. First of all, are animated, something that isn't usual. Then the quality is very high and the character designs are very nice (especially Charlotte <3). Every fight was memorable and it is a true "battle sex" game, since you don't just get femdommed when you lose, but you can use sexual attacks too.
I think that I'd play this game even if it didn't have sex at all, just for the story, even if the sex part is one of the best I've ever found in a game in this forum. Thanks to this game I started liking RPG maker games.
Absolutely try it if you can (don't download the compressed version because the animations are noticeably compressed, obviously)

If you're having trouble with artifacting and/or a black screen when an animated scene starts going, play it in compatibility mode (right click the exe file, go to properties, tick in the box for compatibility mode).

Great game. Good animations and the game isn't boring to play. You have overworld combat (a top-down shooter) and succubus combat (more like the standard rpg combat). The succubus combat is all animated, as are the attacks. The separate combats were a good design choice as it prevents it from getting stale and keeps overworld movement fluid.

There is a bit of grinding in this game as you must drain your levels to certain succubi if you wish to access some scenes/features/equipment. There are aids to move this process along faster but it still gets a little repetitive. Draining levels of course, weakens you, so you spend some time after the drain to get back up to speed. Also, it doesn't tell you what characters you'll see any benefit from, so you can end up wasting levels. I didn't quite get sick of doing this by the end of the game, but do be aware there is some grind.

The story is pretty meh to be honest. I found it hard to be invested.

Gameplay is the most important feature to me for games on this site. This game delivers and has great animations to boot. Thus, easily 5/5.

its wholesome, the story is fun, you get rewarded for grinding running around and overall this gem is filled with content.
every character has multiple sex scenes, its a battle fuck game, well balanced.

overall i can just recommend this game to *anyone*. It is really just that good.

Really fun RPGM game with some really nice animation. Face off in sex battles with a variety of hot Succubi cuties. Quite short but very sweet, def worth some time as long as you can deal with RPGM engine.

it's advertised as a battle RPG but the battle consists of fondling, there is no sword swinging or anything.
if you can make the logic leap that you are attacking girls by touching their boobs and the girl's goal is to make you cum, i guess it makes sense, but i feel this is an awkward implementation

Possibly my favourite game on here, went and bought it afterwards and others should too, came for the femdom, stayed for the story.
A nice builder on the previous games in the universe too.

Does a few things different with combat than other RPG Maker games.

solid game, yet i dont think its good enough to be 5/5 in all 16 votes until now, not even karryns prison (which i think is one of the best if not the best) got this scoring, so i'll be the first 4/5.

This is easily my favorite game. The animations are perfect and pretty unique. The game itself has plenty of content and the grinding isn't hard at all, just takes some getting used to (the combat controls are a little awkward, but it's ok). This is one of the only RPG maker games I've seen which offer non-turn based combat (for non-boss battles) and it's amazing. The plot is pretty good too, although I do admit it's a bit hard to follow at times. It definitely helps that the translations are immaculate and it's hard to even find a grammatical error. Overall, this game is easily my favorite h-game in general and RPG game.

Amazing. You can feel the effort being put into it. Quality is great. It is pretty well-animated. Scenes are nice, a decent amount. Characters are cute. There is some depth to the story, length is fine, but I would have liked more. A little bit comical at times.
Overall a great experience.

Too bad it's censored, but that it how it is with Japanese games.
