Hey guys question: Do i need to start a new game to find the new transformation consumable items? i pasted an old save to try the newest version and Ralph's Shack just sells me the same old stuff so yeah, what do i do?
New game for the new transformative items to appear?
Just try to enchant the old transformative items to unlock new species?
Look for another NPC that sells the new transformative items? (if so please tell me where)
just yeah, wanna try a bear or shark character but can't find the items to transform anywhere.
Try waiting until the next in-game day, so that the shops trigger their daily restocks.

I have been transferring my saves forward from version to version ever since I started playing, and the new additions have been showing up properly.
I just went and double-checked for the bear/shark TF items specifically, and Ralph does sell me Honey Bread and Tuna Sashimi.

Thankyou it worked perfectly!

Yes it is. That's what I did for mine.
But there is some coding necessary to tell the game how to differenciate your race from another (what are the requirements to make a human turn to your race : ex Mine needs a naga tail, cowl, scales etc..) and to code the effects of your race's drinks
Hum, but is still just changing "content", not really new coding, or at least I can always look at something similar...
Thanks for answering, will take a look to see what I can do, seems fun!

I guess some people are. I think we are at a point where basically any decision from Inno gets people riled up because something isn't there or not the way they wanted.
Absolutely.
But also, it's the modern internet mindset. Complain about what others do, but don't actually do anything yourself *sad shrug*

In any case, I think that Inno's detractors are mostly just tired of her excuses. Had she be more constant, people wouldn't be so pissed off.
I'm not detractor, I'm fine with whatever she do with HER game.
Note: lots of these detractors appeared on her blog like a pest, right after her game was highlighted on Fenoxo's site.
While Fen itself seems to be a cool cat, 90% of his site followers (and some of the devs) are a variety of sour douchebags. The game Cloud 9 (I think that's the name, it's in here) is developed by some of Fen's staff, and they're probably the cool 10%, the rest... ugh.

Personally, I kinda sympathize (word?) with Inno... I practically see the exact same excuses and arguments I did yeeears ago lol.

But, to be harsh, she really needs to pull up her game (literally speaking).
The worst and best thing somebody said to me, was from a comic book writer:
"man, you can draw like hell, but when it takes months to complete a couple pages, all your skill loses it's value".
I felt back then like I was punched in the guts -despite feeling a bit proud lol-, but at the same time it was a great advice that made me set on track.

I would give the same advice to Inno:
stop the excuses of "I'm not satisfyed" or "I'm not comfortable enough". Just say "I'm not in the mood/I'm sick/problems in RL and there will be no update this week", and be less perfectionist, the game is not in a stage that need flawless polished content.
Nobody would complain about Nyan's quest (regardless if I like it or not) having placeholders with small descriptions (like Rat's Warrens), but is pretty evident that everyone complains about spending two years in the same over/done/explored city.

To be really silly:
a phalanx advances and moves ti'll the end, then they go back to finish off the wounded :p

I mean, I don't care about this too and I like your statement about the placeholders. But I am tired of some people constantly moaning about every little shit they don't like.
The argument against placeholder would be that sometimes temporary solutions can be the most permanent ones.
Bah!
Why bother?
Most comments like that are just from small, insignificant people, trying to vent off their frustrations.
Keep the interesting comments, and constructive critics, ignore the rest.
(quote from a Magic The Gathering cardgame: "If its weak, kill itor ignore it. Otherwise you're honoring it". Now, aside of the weak part, you get what I mean lol)

I should mention, I'm not even super hard following this game or upset or anything, I just find the situation interesting.
*snip*
I liked your comment, and agree with most of it except:

Some Devs are douchebags, and can get by with it.
Or, instead of douchebags, they're pretty petty or can't take a critic (a real critic, constructive and precise, without any trolling intention)... and still can be successful.
Once the game is established, you can be a total jerk, and it'll only make you more popular.
Inno is at that point. If out of the blue, she decides to start being nasty, her followers will laugh and applaud, and more trolls will come looking to pick a fight, which will actually just attract more people.

The thing is, I really doubt she is doing it on purpose.
Or yes, she's doing it. But not because she's a a malevolent machiavelic villain.
Some people simply can't say "no".
Look at earlier posts in her blog, and you'll see that back then, when she was actualy reading adn answering, everything that people asked it was somehow implemented, or she tried.
I think that's what's happening now: somebody says "I want more boring-overdone catgirl stuff"* and she goes with it. Somebody says there aren't enough girly dresses, and she adds more.

She simply can't say "no more extras, I need to move forward".

Also, there's actually a syndrome which I don't recall the name, that basically makes you miss deadlines, times, etc. (no kidding!)
Note how she always expects this and that done in this or that time -probably because she actually can-, but somehow there's always something delaying the thing.
Again, I practically see everything she does as a reflection of what I did in my youth.
(no, I'm not a internet weirdo with some sort of porn/infatuation with her lol.
I really mean it, out of empathy)

Memes aside, my thoughts are as follows.

What is the language that she is using and why is it taking ridiculously long in refactoring the existing code? Is she rewriting it? Is it not knowing how to continue the story? Is it the problem with not understanding the existing code since she claims that she's a beginner?

People are starting to see that Inno's just winging the whole process. The whole situation is just interesting and baffling at the same time. It can't be that releases that contains patches with minimal content over the past 2 years take so long. I have no issues with Inno going at it on his/her own and more power to him/her. However, if this is going to take so long I think it's time to actually seek help and don't blindside the people that actually pay. It just ain't right.

As there been any info if it will be re-added?

Cuz I really liked having the ability of having customized companions
You can still customise your Elemental companion. Much more easily than most NPCs.

I personally go for a Fire Elemental Catte-boi who I've named "Teaser the Firecat". TBH, a Earth Elemental is probably more optimised, but I like the name.

Apparently, having to code every scene accounting for, "What if the MC has a companion?" was making things take too long. Which would be a lot more plausible if development of new content hadn't screeched to a complete stop once Inno implemented this change.

LT players: Expects development will pick up speed after companions are dropped.

Inno: Subvert expectations

This! I said the same thing in my review: What the game is most lacking is content, not engine features. And it's been like that for years. The two other major flaws are the sex interface and the complete lack of item-balancing. So my advice would be:

1. Fix the sex-UI. Right now it's like trying to fly a fighter jet with gameboy controls. One simple way to make it "good enough" would be, to move all positioning-control into a seperate and custom button-bar, that uses icons to quickly switch positions and assign actors. This alone would remove a lot of clutter from the standard button-pad, while making position-changes fast and easy. Yes, it still wouldn't be perfect, but likely good enough, and it should be doable in one month.

2. Go through all the clothing-items and give them some simple consistent stats. Doesn't need to be perfect: You can use simple rule thumb logic, like "Thongs and other minimal pieces of clothing get 1 physical resistance. Stuff like gloves get 2 and large pieces like jackets and coats get 3-4". Use similiar rules of thumb for other stats. Again: It wouldn't be perfect, but far better than now, and it could done and tested in just a single week.

3. Now stop working on the engine, bodyparts and items and crap! Just assume "This is what i got to work with, now how can build a world and story from those parts?". No, no going back and making custom code for everything: Take the building blocks you have and make a fucking game with it!

Yeah its call the Spoony syndrome (Only real Gs will get this reference) It means he is "taking his time" taking your money. This game will never get new areas, the main quest will never continue, and simps will lose their money.

yeah the "simps" are into not mainstream content so this is what they have unfortunately. go play degrees of lewdity by vrelnir, girl life by Kevin smarts and the tfgamesite
also the word simp has lost all meaning to me

would it be possible to mod condoms so they break based off a percentage chance rather than cum capacity? At the moment the condom mechanic seems pointless as some characters will always break them while others never will, I was wanting it so generic have a 10% chance and stallions have a 1% chance to break regardless of volume contained.

You can still have a elemental, but I very much doubt companions will make it back in the game. It added a ton of extra writing that was needed and was a hinder to developing new quests and scenarios. It's a bit disappointing but understandable.

The game just overall doesn't seem balanced for companions either. The summons become OP way too fast. I imagine the companions were similar. Well, even the single player combat wasn't balanced, but at least it was manageable.

I can always shoo randoms til' my kids are the ones left in this domain, yes that can be a good plan too
I'm saying that this will make the game run really slow.

I'm not saying don't do it though. Let us know if you can actually fill every Dominion tile with offspring. I know I'd be impressed.
