From what I understand, MC is a simp, the kind that forgives the girl go no matter how much she screwed him over, even if the girl made multiple attempts on his life.

Just finished Correctional Church,well,there is nothing to rate yet.
Animations are ok,graphics are mostly fine,can't say female characters look attractive tho,but we saw probably 3 lis so far.As of the story,well,nothing yet and cliffhanger didn't make me excited.Overall,let's wait for the next update to see how it goes

P.S. Seems like I actually missed one branch,so I missed one scene

it was honestly one of the biggest v0.1s i have seen. if the dev can put out updates like this at a reasonable pace this could become one of the greats i think because the foundation is good

1.Just found out MorM was banned on f95zone due breaking r7.Like I said dozens of pages ago,the game itself might be good without that freaking loli,but the dev decided to keep her and make her act like she's a kid,so I won't miss it
2.King's Revolt got an update,and according to changelog,it doesn't add any new content,but cuts the old one.Also,there are some minor fixes,but they are not really important
3.Driven by Desire update is out,so..I got nothing to say yet,according to changelog,there are 200 new renders,not that much

I tried this "Scions of the Divine". It is long and boring. Yes, there is setting, there is girls. Couple lewds too. But, man. There is no story. Just boring dialogs without ounce of substance. No real challenge, no troubles, adventure or humor. Nothing of substance. Looks like fanfic about Harry Potter merged with wikipedia in a weird way, and it is not fun way. Not recommend now. Can somebody explain what the fuss about My bully is my lover ? Weak characters and MC. Visuals become better only in latest's updates.

So I played City Devil Restart and was thoroughly impressed by the amount of animations, even more than Realm Invader. But the I went to the creator's patreon page and got worried a little. Last post was on August and on May he reported 64% progress on next update

city devil restart is kinda boring imo, high production value but its just boring. the characters dont have any personality
Same it's long but the mc is not that interesting to read through. He is way too boring and not interesting. Also everything kind of falls into his lap.
NiiChan makes some of the OG polished HS2 games (though original game was HS1 then got remade I think). When I first got into AVNs I actually got recommended their stuff lol.
Honestly at the time I don't think trying to go so hard with the storytelling was a prevalent so I enjoyed it. After years of playing these games and seeing the same things, you realize MBML/Sicae are just typical stories but with a way better presentation (honestly applies to nearly every popular game on here.)
But now even with the warning about it very "anime" I can't get into NiiChan's stuff lol. I tend to spam this word (mostly because these devs force my hand) but it's super tropey even by AVN standards. NiiChan's other game (Sicae FKA Life Changing Choices) also dials the edge up to 10 in combination with that. The recent fuss though is about it having to get rewritten due to censorship.
I think NiiChan does great stuff for HS modding though so they have my respect even if I don't enjoy their storytelling.

To be honest, I have never heard of the game and despite my strong dislike for any form of loli stuff, I got curios how the game has looked that it was even able to being here axed. Only the mod pages are still up. The loli stuff must have been really strong - even for zone standards.

It's seems that loli stuff is something that even SS can't effort to look in the other direction.
I liked the story quite a bit. It's quite a funny game with a bunch of really serious topics. School bullying, coming to terms with the past and forgiveness. At some points the game is getting dark, but despite being story wise deeply intertwined with the Sicae, it reached never the dark level Sicae was head first in.
