Since I finished New Horizon and you are a fan of it. Don't you see the problem in how all lewd scenes are started. Girl just say "Lets have some fun" and MC goes "Ok". Only one logically possible scene was when Miharu and MC were drunk. Rest was super spontaneous.

At this point,I don't really pay attention to this,it's a basic avn logic.But I need to replay it tho,was nearly a year since my last playthrough

When I tried it had a very bad translation and a plot they didn't make sense to me (possibly because of the translation?).

The intro to the game didn't align at all with the rest of the game (typical sanbox school grind). And judging from the thread things still aren't explained (over 2 years now.)

Also I hated Ethereum virtual reality stuff more the all then New Horizon fantasy story has to offer.

It was done so bad that it doesn't really matter. Instead of going to the Mars in spaceship game just brings you to a themed luna park and ask you to believe in it. New Horizon don't try to fool you and picking a scale acceptable for action anime story. And worst part is ignoring the MMO experience many people had and how it doesn't match with Ethereum.

I just played Wild Cats, and wow—it’s fantastic. All the characters are interesting and attractive, and the story is solid. I got annoyed with the MC at times, but that’s expected, and I liked that the MC actually has a personality. Definitely one of the better games I’ve played recently.

Yeah. Developer is talented writer. You only get something similar in good manga/manhwa. Let's hope he didn't mess up with upcoming even.

I double it. Wild Cats is one of the few that i actually bothered to go in thread, commend and rate 5/5. And now regularly checking for announces and leaks.

You are tellin a long story about "special" boy who gets "revelation of powers" and instantly gets bunch of new "similar" frendz and starts makin frenship magic and shiet. And you describe it like you writing an article in Wikipedia. Stating facts, describing lore. Bland, no feelings, no challenges, all troubles solves themselves instantly and actually are no troubles, just a new page on wiki. Boring. And tits wont save it.

So, you can check out Wild Cats too, to see what i meaning and expected from MC and his adventures in AVN. It just has to be more thrilling, and nothing for sertain for any moment. You have none of that at the moment. Do more troubles, make MC more suffer. Like, really struggle, not to get saved after couple of lines about being ambushed.

But that's a completely different kind of story... Mine is a power fantasy and clearly stated as such. Despite that fact, real troubles will come eventually. I can't just throw the biggest hardships at you right from the start as that would be poor writing. Also, that's a very poor description of the story thus far. Makes me question if you actually read everything or just skipped through and selectively read certain dialogues.

You also have to keep in mind that Ch. 1 is setting the stage for everything to come. It's to introduce the characters and the world that people will be unfamiliar with, that has a different set of rules from most fantasy worlds. So yeah, I spent a lot of time on lore and producing facts for players to learn more about the world.

I'll take what you're saying under advisement, but I'll continue in the direction I'm going, since the story is what most people like about it so far.

Well, you do you, i just explained my scorin. Since you asked. I like immediate and constant troubles and adventures in story. In all kinds of genres. I don't like long and plain "buildups" and filler dialogs on the level "howdy-imfine-you-wikipage"

I really wish you well, and will check out again how you doing in a half-year or so. I liked idea and some of your girls, after all.

P.S. in "PowerFantasy" i rated "SuperHuman" (nonHS, but still), "Companion Of Darkness", "Inanna Revenge" And "Eternum" pretty high. They have their faults too, but i enjoyed them.

That's a lot of expectations to be met for a initial release (even though you did make a rather large release) lol. But damn how you gonna be like.... Download and play this game because this is how I WANT the game to be. I get it...people have there own preference, I'm no different. But let the man do him.

That's completely fine, I don't expect to please everyone. Ch. 1 already sets up multiple huge threats that are coming, so there will be troubles to face. I'd like to also note that there is very few filler dialogues, pretty much all of it has some kind of relevance to a character, the world, or a character plot.

Thank you for the well wishes and sharing your perspective. The Harry Potter comparison is still wild to me, but it was good for a chuckle, I guess.

I was glad to see the Dev didn't overly react and stuck with the same personalities for the characters and kept the slow-burn pacing in 0.2.

0.3 is going to be a banger, I trust!

For some reason the majority (or perhaps a vocal minority) of F95 users don't understand the concept of character development.

They want characters to have no realistic flaws from the moment they're introduced.

That said I just caught up on Wild Cats thanks to you guys. I enjoyed it, interesting premise and good dialogue. Sometimes the dev gets a little lazy and does some internal monologues but generally keeps things conversational and knows "show don't tell".

Renders definitely have issues but most devs have weird renders until a few versions in so I won't hold that against them.

With so many powers, gangs, and whatnot (not that any of that is inherently bad), it's good to have a newer nice slice a life with nothing supernatural attached.

Cultivation Companions looks interesting. we were just talking about how there should be more xianxia novels. i am not sure about the artstyle from the screenshots but i will check it out. 3gb for a first release is a lot so either the dev doesn't know how to compress or its a ton of content.

I think it's about creating interesting journey without too much lewd stuff at the beginning. And you need skills for that. Otherwise people will get bored.

Characters need to be interesting enough so you care to watch their development in relationship.
