No sweat; that 'abandoned' label spreads so much confusion. It happens quite often a game isn't actually abandoned at all. When it's clear a dev is still working on it, a different label should be used IMO.

Recently found this thread while trying to learn more about HS... all it did was distract me I can't stop trying all the games LOL

This thread is great though. Regardless of if people agree with OP's opinions or not, it really helps with discovery. Especially since the new tag system isn't implemented yet.

• My Heart's Type Paradise, though still in it's infancy just came on to the scene.
• FurrHouse also has a futa protag option
• God's Call iirc the futas go by males pronouns in that game.
• There's also anything by Icarus Media.

Has it been that long already? Sheesh... It does sound quite unlikely when you list the details out like that. I would say add a community feature to add tags to existing projects, but that would come with its own problems.

They could just add a role for a bunch of people to help with tagging, or set up some sort of voting system for tags like on sadpanda. Also, the longer it takes the more games will have to be tagged; they could also do the lazy thing and only tag new/ongoing releases.

btw,I read that post now and that's exactly how they want to release this

All tags will be able to be marked as 'optional/avoidable', and tags will also have an optional 'context' input, where uploaders and developers can provide any additional context for that tag, which will be shown to users when they hover over the tag on the content page.

We will also be introducing a tag suggestion feature, so the community can aid in retagging existing content. This will work as follows:

• There'll be a dedicated tab where users can suggest a tag. During that process you'll select the tag from the list, upon selection it'll show the definition, you'll then be able to say that its "optional/avoidable" and give your reasoning/explanation on why it should be added.
• Also on that dedicated tab, there will be a list of all the tags previously suggested for that content, and give users the option to +1 those suggestions
• An uploader/moderator can then approve a suggestion to get it added to the thread.
• Anyone who abuses the suggestion system will be blocked from using it, we'll also implement age/post minimum counts in order to help prevent abuse
