itch io repost(you can check it out anyway if you want to see patreon/discord links)

About the game
Unspoken Words is an emotional slow-burn Visual Novel, where every choice you make has lasting consequences. Whether it's a small, seemingly insignificant decision or a life-altering one, everything matters. The game combines elements of romance, mystery, light humor, and much more, making for an unforgettable narrative experience.
Synopsis

You are a 20-year-old protagonist who has just graduated from high school in the UK. After 12 years, you return to your hometown of Longbay, ready to start the next chapter of your life: college. However, as you return to familiar streets, you silently hope to mend a long-broken friendship—the one you left behind with your childhood friend. You vanished without a word, and now you're back, hoping to fix the mistakes of your past.

At first, everything seems perfect, but soon, you'll realize that you're part of a much bigger puzzle. Your actions will influence not only your relationships with the women around you but also events that could change everything. Join the protagonist as he uncovers the truth behind what happened years ago and shapes his future back in his hometown.
Key Features
  • Emotional Storytelling: Immerse yourself in a deep narrative that blends romance, mystery, and drama.
  • Choices Matter: Every decision you make will affect the story, with both small moments and big turning points.
  • Character Development: Build meaningful relationships with the characters, each with their own backgrounds and personalities.
  • Mystery & Suspense: Unravel the truth behind the protagonist’s past and the secrets hidden in Longbay.
  • Light Humor: While the game is emotionally intense, there's always room for a laugh or two to balance things out.

Female characters look boring. Even if you are aiming for a more realistic approach, at least try to make them look unique. It feels like developers don't acknowledge existing of thousands other HS games.

Renders looks ok not great but not bad either, i dont mind slow burn but not a fan of branches because of decision, i'd rather have a kinda linear storyline like Eternum or Ripples, good character development and strong plot than a stupid multiply branches.

Anyone remember any hs games where one of lis or side girls are either psycho or have some mental issues/depression?I have in mind Riley from Ripples
Toxicity from ILS. Character is Shelley... She has some kind of medicated BD, but given the setting of the game she has been out of meds for quite some time and is having some symptoms during the latest chapters. Still ongoing...

Also, first timer here... Nice list, and it looks pretty much spot on, except I must admit I was shocked to see both Now&Then and Deadmoon Survival so low in the list. Those are some weaknesses of mine, and even if they are not S games next to Eternum, id give them both a solid A at the very least...

In fact, for me the only reason they might not be S games right now is because:
- N&T is a bit outdated at this point, it was a masterpiece but visually it might have not aged too well being HS1 and the first game of the developer.
- Darkmoon had a crazy development cycle, being abandoned for many months, and it just got completed recently but with the story cut short of what it should had been, feeling somewhat rushed.

That probably was the main point when I was adding it,but I'm not sure if it gets better lately because last time I played it was probably early 2022,tbh,I can't even remember what it was about. Will replay it someday:unsure:

Afair, the biggest issue for me was, building relationships with mc's mom and sis at the beginning. Also can't remember what exactly it was,but I still remember it was something I disliked:unsure:Can't say visuals are impressive as well, but they are clearly not bad.
As of ILSP,I really want to try out Toxicity again, haven't touched since 0.2 update

branches because of decision
Let's be honest, most of games like that will survive a few updates at best :HideThePain:
Not to mention, majority of devs of those upcoming games usually spend at least a year to make a linear story, with the branching,we would probably move like 100 renders in any direction every update

Then a replay is overdue for you. The Directors Cut dropped on 2024 and added a much more polished ending, and while not a full visual overhaul, it at the very least addressed too some of the most glaring early game visual oddities. It can be easily seen how the dev progressed with their rendering skill through the game

Well, its a incest heavy game, so it's not for everyone for sure. If thats not your cup of tea, then it's clearly not going to get any better by playing it further. Also, the game originally featured some zombie sex and way darker endings (ie. game over screens when things went sideways). Maybe it was that what alienated you? If this is it, you might be want to replay it too, as the Dev removed that segments of the game.

It progressed a lot, and features just one character that fits more or less perfectly the request you did a couple of pages back about a LI dealing with deppresion/mental health. But its still on the midgame, (ch 11 I believe, from about 22-24 expected)

Sounds promising

It wasn't about incest itself,I meant more like the way of building, remember a scene where mc's sister asked her mother to show her how to shave bikini zone, like, exactly showing, just asking wasn't enough, but it's an avn logic in the end
