This thread was created as a heads up for patreons willing to share vars on F95.
What are trackers? How do creators spot you after you share a var?
Trackers are anything inside vars or zip files that can be used to identify the person who shares them publicly (for example on F95), after creators identify the person sharing vars, they ban him/her from their patreon, sometimes they share this person's information with other creators so they can ban him as well. Techniques creators use vary, for example some add .txt file inside vars with the name, number or hash of the patreon, some push vars with different asset preview images, some edit meta.json and add markers ..etc.
As a general rule of thumb, if a creator is sending his vars to each patreon individually like via a discord bot or private messaging then you should be careful before sharing. It's recommended to wait a couple of days before sharing vars you just received from creators. If you want to share vars safely, DM an uploader first, we'll inspect vars and remove any trackers then send vars back to you so you can share them safely.

If you are a patreon and got banned after sharing vars on F95 from any creator not in the list, DM me with the incident and vars you shared or in a reply to this thread.
For dear creators, note that I might have manipulated your trackers a couple of times and thus you banned the wrong person. Regardless, your vars are often leaked first on Asian markets such as metacosmic, vam18, vamshop, keseun ..etc and you don't have a clue because you can't access and buy from these sites unless you are Chinese. In order to understand what's going on and why all your efforts of tracking are pointless, you need to know that resellers on Asian markets go sub to your patreons and then resell these vars on various Asian markets, in the reselling process, they make more profits than you, they don't care about trackers, when you ban them, they just open new accounts to get the new vars and the cycle repeats. Eventually your vars end up on F95 by people that bought them from Asian markets. I often skip checking vars coming from Asian markets and only focus on F95 patreons. So, before taking the blame on F95, go check your vars on Asian markets first, maybe they are on sale!
