Yup, imagine what this thread would look like without the FAQ, it's bad enough with one.
I always thought people were (for the most part) able to work out basic things, or failing that, try to puzzle them out.
Sadly, considering how many people seem to be unable to work out how the search function of this site works, I have to re-estimate the average intelligence level of people visiting the site frequently.

I miss the days of gaming when we didn't have have forums, guides etc, just a person, the game and their brain, where sometimes we would try to work out how to advance, sometimes for days, or if we became truly desperate, we bought a gaming magazine that if we were lucky, might have a guide included.

people need to experiment and learn, something that sadly is becoming more and more rare as people have answers at their fingertips.
Personally, I miss the days when people didn't ask for saves. Like my dude, if you wanted to just skip to the porn with no regards to story, there's Rule34. Ditto for dudes that complain about the lack of animated scenes.

What do you mean? All we had to do back then was give our electronics a good slap or two and they'd cooperate just fine. :ROFLMAO:
Wrong, in those times you needed to know the command prompt for your OS to boot the system. E-v-e-r-y single time you turn on the pc. Well... nowadays it's not the big deal, and my memory is hazy but as a child it stressed me like you wouldn't believe.

The internet definitely removed that charm of experiencing games, being absolutely clueless but immersing yourself into it (my best of that personally was probably the old RE, Silent Hill and MGS games, BG&E, FFX, SMT games, the original Fallout, Elder Scrolls and Might and Magic games... Etc. Good times ), but now most are just looking at a YouTube guide or post every few minutes that they end up spending more time searching online or asking people than actually playing the game... It doesn't help with the low attention span nowadays either due to quick dopamine hit media and algorithms.

Though obviously everyone can still avoid that if they insist. Like, the first time I played the Dark Souls trilogy, outside of a few Vaati lore vids, I swore to not search even once anything related to the game. I stuggled a hell of a lot, but it when everything clicked it became something quite special :coffee: ... Though then again, maybe I just didn't care since I got too immersed that I forgot :KEK:, unlike with Stardew Valley where I got tempted since the game is extremely overwhelming at a certain point without the wiki. So I guess it depends.

Ain't no choice nowadays but to accept that the workforce is also full of the same people, clients asking things over email and the person asking me about what they should reply to that person.

Somehow, they have it in their minds that it's not okay to ask probing questions, when they should because there's no way I would know what THAT person is talking about.

Although AI games are more abundant, there are still many that are being developed by hand, very good,

For example:

-

-

-

-

-

And of course the Monochrome remake.

Here I base it on my tastes (Simulation games with beautiful art ) , but I'm sure that there are many more of other genres.
Thank you for the recommendation hopefully the development goes well

Inusuku said that release of monochrome remake will be in 2025.
All arts are already done by another artist ( who did some arts for fantasy too)
Now only script and scenario is left to do.
But shouldn't arts be made after scenario is finished ?

Last time they had a scenario they didn't like it after playing through it.

Just finished the whole game and its DLC in around 170 days.

Man... For a sis-con game, its tug my heart a bit, and honestly gotten too attached to the characters. The DLC itself actually convinced me to pick up Sister Travel as my next game to play. But I'm definitely going to miss Yui, Kasumi and Yukari when I do. Haha

Oof, just 100% the whole thing myself, 259 days, all powers and scenes included.
Came for the imouto (hehehe ( ͡• ͜ʖ ͡• ) ), stayed for the plot.

I wonder what changes will the official version have.
