I suggest you playing version without mods and reading FAQ before playing
after that choose between Kagura or unofficial translated one , download it and play.
After you finish game + dlc content you can experiment with mods
mods and things like cheat engine can break game in many ways and you don't really need them to enjoy game unless you want quick fap or you already completed game once , this game is meant for those who enjoy more slow approach.

there are some similar games , but they aren't really same level as this one.
there is old sister monochrome , but Inusuku ( developer ) is making remake of it. Once released it might be even better than this game(Monochrome Fantasy)
Should be released at the end of this year if we are lucky.... all art is already ready , so only story and programming left.
Just remember to check on Inusuku sometimes.

Inusuku (developer) working on remake older game similar with this one, wait release in the end of year. Some other developer just start working in game with similar artstyle and mechanics

If you not sure ,download both and play 15 minutes of each to compare translation differences.
There is pros and cons in each one.
Is the Steam version a downgraded one? I couldn't choose Politics at the start, and there's no adult content at all.

What are you referring to in this image? If you mean weird font then its either because of incompatible locale or because of Kaguras trash font choice.
Suggestion: Use the fan translated version. Also make sure you use either ja_JP.UTF-8 or en_US locale.
Hey I was wondering where to get the apk(eng translation) since the mega links are no longer working. I have installed one from platinmods but most of the ui are Japanese and it's almost impossible to play properly without a translator but even with one the text(specifically the Kanji) are hard to translate because of how small they are. In the mean time I'll keep digging for any apks with working links.
