Definetely worth playing.

Animations is good, not excelent, but there's plenty of them so i would give it an 8/10
Story is also very well done, even for a game you could say that the characters behave like normal people and it is not just, you talked to me twice, i shall hace your babies. 9/10
There's plenty of endings, so the branching is also very well done.

My advice for playimg the game would be, play it and act however you prefer and see where that leads you. If you get curious about all the scenes just download the gallery hack.

Living with Temptation is a good adult game, even if most of the time it feels more like "Living with Grinding".

The premise is so simple and atemporal it works wonderfully, movies and novels have been made about the same premise, and in this genre without any restrictions, it is fully exploited.
Despite having a working narrative going on, the game´s mechanics hurt it a lot, slowing the tempo.

They all look good, natural, there´s no oversized bobas here (at least not on my opinion).
Character develpment is sloooow like anything else on this game.
MC is a blank slate for the player to interact with the game, and his fate depends on your desicions.

Mechanics: 2 Resting Bananas out of 5
Honestly, I would prefered to play some minigames than the endless carnival of grinding this game offers, holy sh*it, how can somebody take 1 hour to take out the trash?.
Whole In-game weeks will fly before your eyes way before you can even see a tiddy, no joke.
You have a lot of patience? you will get rewarded no doubt, but you will need to invest a lot of time clicking like a maniac to reach the gold.
Also, this may be the first adult game runing on unity engine I have ever played, so I dont know if the lack of visual options is a standard or not, but having only fullscreen and that other borderless window feels weird.

There´s plenty of content, renders look good, you get to decide the angles and positions of the action, a lot of fetishes are covered.
But again, you need to work hard to get to the good stuff, or cheat your way in, thats why I give the 4/5 rating.

This game offers 16 endings, I managed to get 1, and i´ll leave it there, too much grind to my taste, but I need to give credit to the Dev for working it that hard, getting everybody happy is almost impossible, but trying hard to deliver something to everyone is always respectable and admirable.
Got ending 16 and it felt rewarding, at the end I was tired of Tracy and felt awesome applying the "DiCaprio method".

Living with Temptation is A Game, if you are used to online games you´ll feel right at home playing this, because you´ll need to grind hard to get to the good stuff.
We, normal people, who like to spend our evenings doing more than work, might find ourselves tired after a while.

Good visuals, great premise, but grindy as hell and even with cheats its slow moving to make progress. I'm also a bit disappointed that they've added more LIs, but not really developed them. I feel like they didn't quite put enough in for each girl, and adding even more to the main LIs would have worked a bit better. I'd love to have an ending where I knock up Keiko and depending on Tracy's stance, divorce or a troupe ensue. It could certainly be the author's taste, but I find it odd there's so many NTR endings, yet partial or full harem endings are few to non-existent. Would love to see them polish up the sequel to this level of quality.

I don't know why but this redux was kind of stale for me. It takes the original and gives it a cheap makeover filled with cliches. I'd much rather see the LOP team expand LWT 2 instead of filling this story up with a bunch of uneeded content.

This game is smoking hot trash. Even in story mode it's like confusing grindy bullshit. If you have serious brain damage then this is the game for you. I can't imagine how anyone "plays" through this shit. They must speed 100 hours just clicking on random dialogue options to unlock the games different endings. This badly needs a quest system and some kind of fucking hints about what you need to do do unlock scenes and endings.

This one is an LOP classic for me. It's one of their few games that has any sort of replay value. The classic nanny story is well executed, and has good options. The redux also is a nice upgrade, well worth checking out, too.

The gameplay is more like 2 stars. There's a lot of unnecessary redundancy and stat building.

The fact that you control the storyline with your choices makes the game much more satisfying to play.

Nice story and characters and i don´t think it is a bad "click to progress" game.
With every click you get a litle progress, maybe in the wrong direction, but something will happen.
Very bad, as allways all LOP games, are the save system.
All in all a "very nice to have" one.

Great game and probably the best LOP game as a remake of the original. Since it is a remake of the original the bar is a little lower as the good repeatable sex scenes didn't become present until the Wife Gone Wilder expansion.

The great things about this remake though are that they simplified the system towards improving your characters looks, esteem, and charisma so that it's not a grind like it was in the original. They've improved the scene quality and just made everything look better.

As a remake of the original I'd say it's a solid 5/5. They have plans on adding the Wife Gone Wilder expansion as part of the remake with improved scenes and with newer scenes and they also plan on adding a 3rd expansion later with all brand new scenes. If you're not satisfied due to the low "action" content right now it's sure to improve later.

One of the best LoP games returns. Some of the annoying features removed. Nothing revolutionally new in terms of content. Waiting to see if same can be done for the 2nd part of the series. With a general trend on reworks / remasters would a pleasure to see LoP revisit some of its best series.

Living with temptation (final version) is a nice game but the execution is a bit rough around the edges. First, there is a certain degree of farming in the game, but it is fair to say that it is reasonable, doesn't demand hours on end. The story advances in a peculiar way in which you end up repeating events until something happens different and a unique scene takes place. Endings are also a bit abrupt, sometimes they happen when it is least expected, which is a bit strange (and sometimes even unfair, I got one of the marriage broken endings because I spent too much money on gifts for the nanny when actually, the money had been on my looks and on gifts for my wife). So, not the most appealing story, not the worst either, it has its interesting moments.

Render quality is pretty decent. Animations are a bit in the middle of the pack, not the best, not the worst. And as far as sounds go, I had to turn them off as music was being quite off-putting.

All in all, a pretty decent game which has the added bonus of being complete. 6/10

This and Starless were my first and only porno games (back in 2014-15) until I found this site during the Corona Plague. I want to give it 5/5 just for the nostalgia. However, seeing as it's a remake and has just released, retaining the grind exactly like in the original is a very bad decision, which is what the -1 is for. It's not immersive or justified, it's just annoying.

Apart from that though, it's excellent. The story complements the porno and vice versa. It was probably, originally, intended for couples, which is why the characters are sorta believable and not overly servicing male fantasies. It's also why the 'kinks' are restricted to the stuff ordinary couples might want to try out, or more commonly fantasise about trying out. As such, none of it is very kinky or extreme.

The updated 4k renders and anims are obviously miles better than the originals, while preserving that old-school sprite-on-background look. Can't complain.

I really want to rate this 5/5 but I can't get past hiding the h-scenes behind time investment into clicking. Don't care if it's supposed to be faithful to the original, it's a turn-off.

PS - gotta add though, the grind is not as bad as some folks are making it out to be. Max your fitness asap, which will automatically increase your max energy. Then max out the rest of the stats. You need 15-20 minutes of grinding/speed-clicking without rewards before it gets simpler/easier and you can start having sex with the wife.

EDIT: changed to 5/5 because @Aziien posted an awesome cheat mod that gets rid of stat grinding, tho you still need to play through the game a few times (with the available routes) to unlock the gallery scenes.

Edit: With this new update, I take my words back. This new WGW update has good amount of content and is strongly recommended for existing fans of LWT. New players might not like the grinding in this game. And grinding is the main reason I am deducting a star.

Below is my old review before the WGW update.

I will write this review from two point of views. One who is a fan of the original game and two who is unfamiliar with LOP games.

Fan's point of view: I was a big fan of the original game, heck I even spent money on lopgold to play the original, dlc, part 2 and part 2's dlc. And all I can say is, the Redux is an absolute wastage of time. I have played this version for hours and I can say that there are no significant upgrade or added content in this version of this game. It still has the same old endings, and the added sex scenes are simply not worth it. There are no other fetishes added in this game and unfortunately I will never play any LOPGold games in the future because I think they are the failed "Blockbuster" of the porn games repeating the same gameplay formula from past 10 years.

From someone else's POV who is new to lopgold: I am pretty sure you must have played AWAM or JOHN or any top games here in F95Zone. If so then you have been spoiled by the good quality VNs . Because these VNs are miles ahead of any LOPGold games. In short, this game is a grindfest which will bore you to death.

LOPGold is dead for me. And trust me I tried my best to like this game.

Nice to see that in over a decade, LoP made barely any progress.
The gameplay is as shallow as a puddle, the writing is barebones and mediocre, the sex scenes are boring and uninspired. But hey, the models look better than the original flash game.

Glad to see a classic revamped. This was part of peak LOP games, so good to see them return to their roots. Can't wait to see what improvements and additions they add. Both Tracy and Lisa are bombshells. And any lack of depth is made up for in sex appeal. Less grind means more of what we came for. Good gameplay with a porn game may have been a pipe dream, at least in the way this genre first approached it, but that doesn't mean the scenes weren't golden as well as the character design.

Ok the only other review is, no offense, not well done. Yes you have to click, click click, if spend too much money you lose. Congratulations you explained a ton of video games.

TL;DR One of the foundations for what has now become the porn game genre, and one of the best pieces from LOP. Two shiny but gorgeous women, slowly begin to want to MC, after he puts effort into his life. While the stat grind is present, with a bit of thought and planning (it's a game) it becomes clear how to proceed (With some mistakes made the first go). A must play for anyone who wants to see where games like Milfy city, Big Brother, and all the rest spiritually came from and a SHOULD PLAY for anyone who likes solid renders, and the freedom to fail.

EXTRA: The story checks, it's actually (For a porn game) realistic. You were cool, handsome, ambitious guy who got married young, then let yourself go, unsurprisingly no ones attracted to you like that. You workout, work on your career, and put effort into your appearance and women begin to take notice, this is all prompted from a hot young woman entering your house.

This game is old, but LOP was one of the first groups to make some next level renders and was one of the foundations for successful porn games. This was one of their best. Yes you can't mindlessly play through it, you need to balance stats, and YOUR WIFE WARNS YOU NOT TO SPEND TOO MUCH. After all your a broke ass writer and it's her money, not to mention your spending it on fucking your au pair....

The gameplay can get dull, its the tendency in any stat grind game, hence why they did away with it in the sequel, but that's a product of its time. Compared to some games it's not even that bad. The models are nice, if not a bit shiny and the scenes are fun. The NTR is completely optional, and you have to make a conscious decision to let it happen. "But my au pair sucks and fucks her boyfriend" that's not ntr that's normal and it stops once you get with her.

The slow build to all out sex with both characters is nice and not terribly paced with the money mechanic being the most annoying, but honestly once you get half way through you have it down pat, at which point restarting isn't the worst idea (you may have fucked up some decisions by now). The biggest hump is the first act, where no one likes you and your essentially a dickless loser. However, this will change within around 30 minutes, at which point enjoy slowly seeing the women around you take interest.

It's by no means a 5 star, though at the time it WAS, despite this I couldn't rate it lower than 3 stars, and gave it a bonus purely for personal preference and what it did for porn games. Funnily while less stat grinding in the second sounds nice, I actually find it feeling to quick and more like a VN, this has a porn GAME feel to it.

Klick, klick, klick and another klick. And all of a sudden it ends. Why? I bought too many gifts for my Wife. Realy? I can't recommend this Game. Better play another one, there enough others here........
