After playing this game and understanding a few of its mechanics, I'd say it's solid, but confusing. The scope of this game is pretty wide, there are a lot of different things to do, but the game doesn't explain it too well. There is a quest tab that steers you in the right path and a simple map to navigate. My issues lies in how disorganized quests can be, they overlap and aren't given enough instruction. The big + for this game is the animation, it is made by a talented artist, but the issue with that is everything else lacks polish.
Some specific issues I had include unintuitive game design, cringy dialogue, and very fast progression with characters. The "combat" itself is okay until the fight with Orochimaru where you might as well hold spacebar and autobattle since using special attacks will usually result in him dodging or countering. The dialogue as others have said is also pretty stale, they don't make sense and I feel that it's so bad because the developer wanted to show off their art and forgot to develop their characters. This ties in with my issue with character progress as all the characters are dtf as long as you are "Mischevious" enough, which in my opinion is pretty lame for getting immersed into the world.
