VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Locked in Temptation [v1.0a] [Tasty Pics Studio]

Locked in confusion, I finished this one and heres my initial thoughts:


The story: The story started off well but slowly got more and more confusing with each passing day not only that but its the return of the 'Landlady'

The writing: The writing didn't seem bad and it was easy to understand, no mistypes or translation issues

The renders: the renders seemed really good for the most part

The models: good models with good outfits

To summarise: The story slowly became obsolete when huge parts of days would just not have anything in them except maybe 1 or 2 scenes, story seemed lackluster which made the gameplay feel awful.

I didn't know at first that this was a new work by the author of My Pleasure. I found it soon after I opened the game. I remember that the previous work was very good in the early stage, but it became weaker and weaker in the end. It felt like it ended hastily. However, their rendering and milf are my type, very hot. I will continue to try this new work, wish me good luck!

It deserves 3 stars.. It's quite simply and classic go out with aunt and do naughty stuff with some buildup... But something about the models is throwing me off. Feels plasticy and like a doll making it difficult to get into the game

Hmmm. I enjoyed this at first. I thought the game was pretty good and enticing and all that. The models are pretty hot and the action starts pretty quickly. The MC and Mom have a decent arc right up until the boss shows up at the pool. Suddenly the Mom turns into a sorority girl and starts going lesbo.

I thought the characters looked familiar. They were familiar looking because this the same dev who did "My Pleasure". Now way back when I first started playing adult games "My Pleasure" was a game I liked. The problem was the game went no where for ages and when it did the mom who you had been moving forward with at a snails pace suddenly goes lesbo. I never bothered trying to finish the game because there were a number of arcs you couldn't opt out of. The silly dom neighbor. The stupid stalker girl. Bi-curious Mom, etc. This feels the same. I should have known that capt simp would only let the MC get somewhere with his main choice if a second woman gets her way with the LI too. Lesbians seem to be the real focus of his games. Simp garbage is what it is. The Mom and MC at least had some kind of relationship before the stupid threesome. After that all that crap becomes meaningless. Mom is just every simps favorite character-the omni sexual nympho who will do anything. For instance the only reason the Mom is pushing the boundaries with her son is because her female boss is suggesting it. It makes the mom look like an idiot more than anything. In a way the mom is a sub to her boss. Anyway it doesn't work at all for me.

Anyway the art is pretty good. The story is really basic but serviceable. The game is just another lesbo simulator though so I give it a poor rating. I'm sure the game will be highly rated because F95 loves it simp crap especially. Next time I see the devs name I'll pass.

Great game. My compliments to the developer. the best anal scenes. Milfs are above all praise. The project is worthy of support.
Of course, many people may miss the rapid development of events. Many people romanticize porn games too much. But it's at least silly. Porn games are about porn, not about romance.

Good renders but for what, too little content (almost nothing sexual), I think the game would be great if it had content, too bad it doesn't have it, the history feels generic, but I don't think that's a problem, well too bad, I didn't have any expectations and I still get disappointed.

A long long walk among nice women and you end up with... almost nothing?
Extremely disappointing, just when you thought things were heating up, you're faced with the Game Over screen. Wow.
I don't know what more to write about this, save yourself some time and look at the gallery.

This one is bad, it just is a complete mess for my taste. First of all, lots of the story is not explained, at least in the few days, and it has no interest at all, so I ended up skipping it all and going through the walkthrough. Choices matter, which is good, but since the writing and characters is poor, who cares about those choices and their consequences? It's also on the shorter side as a full game, so at least you can get a full playthrough relatively quickly and see the different branches and scenes.

Render quality is mediocre, and I personally expected more from the character models. Animations are there, but pretty basic. I took away the music like I always do. There were some sound effects here and there. And at least in my playthrough I found no bugs or problems.

So, all in all, either skip this one or skip the plot and go directly to the scenes with a gallery unlocker or skipping dialogue and following the included walkthrough.

the story is good and the renders are not to bad as well it plays out just like the devs other VN My Pleasure which btw was awesome incest VN except the ending i hope this one does not end up like the ending of it . but back to this one the story is still young and plenty to add to the story and look forward to in future releases so i will say if you liked or played the Devs other VN and liked it you most likely will like this one the dev is talented and got skill and knows how to tell a story .

PROS:

1. Written well, good structure, reads fluently and not too inflated or filled with long winded conversations.
2. Style is pretty good, the flow of the scenes and overall way the story is told, described and plays out in both visual and written way.
3. Audio is good, music is not bad, has decent mechanisms for fading music out, ambient sounds, done with "class" if I had to describe it in a word.
4. Visually the game looks very good, models look good and small details like blinking eyes are a nice touch.
5. Not much content, at least what I would call good, not in the story sense of the word and sure as hell not in the sexual/adult sense of it either.

CONS:

1. Female LI looks like a bimbo, or a barbie...with some "eastern" (big eyes) and "western" (huge tits) influences. More about this in comments.
2. Filled with lots of cliches and nothing particularly new or interesting.
3. Characters look similar, feels like a cheap out on developing new characters...like they all related somehow
4. Slow burn when it comes to lewd content, the MC doesn't have a GF nor gets any action apart from DIY and a BJ.
5. Interaction with landlady often centers around the MC paying her compliments (most natural choice IMO to get in her good books) which almost feels like there is a pattern to it and this screams lazy, uninteresting and boring/vanilla to me.

FINAL THOUGHTS, OPINIONS & SUGGESTIONS:

• Look we all love tits, well most of us, whats better than big tits? bigger tits? To some sure, but there comes a point when it just becomes totally ridiculous and now its taking the piss, kinda like this game. I mean sure this is all fake and bullshit, but the LI looks human, milfy, in proportion mostly on every level as are other characters...so why the fuck have her tits so big, i mean one boob is bigger than her waist WTF is with that...
• Per above point, this leads to the comment of western and eastern type influences (at least in my mind and not being a bigot or anything, its simply an observation) Too big eyes and too big tits or ass or lips etc, add too to anything and it ends up shit IMO. This character would look great if she had smaller tits and eyes, THE END. I would have preferred she followed the style of the previous game. To be fair, the eyes are not too bad, but the one render of the LI in the car, her eyes are just huge, compare it to the rest of the face and tell me im imagining it...
• Full disclosure, I found it very hard to care about the writing throughout my play through of the current content, I was very put off by the huge tits thing..., if you not a fan either, I would suggest skip this game or grit your teeth and hope for other content and LIs that pique your interest.
• The style and feel is also very reminiscent of the developers previous game and while that was good, I would have opted to try some new things. e.g. the whole come into room, flirt and offer a massage thing is as old as they come and the previous game has massages coming out of your ears...kinda get boring.
• On styles, unless I missed it, but are the "landlady" and her boss related? Why do they look like they could be family? Or is that again just the style...also looks a lot like characters from previous game...bit lazy IMO.
• Per above con point the seduction and flirtatious interaction between the MC and the landlady right off the bat are so obvious that you could just do renders and no dialogue and still see whats going on...there is no anticipation, no hesitation, clearly no imagination that leads to player FRUSTRATION (see what i did there ) But seriously, no inhibitions, no real challenge save for the time grind to see how the story unfolds, more kinetic than interactive. You add boring uninteresting characters to the mix of uninteresting story with flimsy plot...meh...its just sadly NOT GOOD!
• Not much content here and that which is there is pretty dull and bland to my tastes simply because its boring, its done before countless times. You can easily wait several updates before trying this out IMO.
• This game does not really intrigue me to be perfectly honest, its filled with cliches and things that feel cut right out of the previous game, which was good but also vanilla and ultimately boring and not very interesting or really complex. This game seems to follow that same pattern. The LIs having similar eyes and facial features just make it feel even more like there was not really major effort put into making this game. The story and script are not particularly interesting nor are the characters....visually it looks good in a general sense, the same with some other features but its just not enough to warrant a better score than 3.

A promising game that ended abrubtly and left the player wanting more...

Pros:

• The character models are rendered decently
• There is a gallery
• Around 1 hour to complete
• The BGM is really nice, it's unique and not generic
• There are choices that impact what scene(s)/routes you go down
• Sex scenes are animated

Cons:

• The H-scenes are animated but not really fluid
• The plot is weird and the interactions with the characters seem stiff
• I get scared when a frozen model blinks at you
• I still don't understand the point of the game
• The game ends before you figure out what's going on

Conclusion:

There's not a reason not to play this game but there's also no reason to play this game now as there isn't much to this game. I'd play it but temper expectations.

I liked the game. Good picture, normal classic plot for games of this type. Very nice female characters, thanks to the author for maintaining the tradition. An important advantage of the game is that the gameplay is clear and thought out, that is, there is no need for a mod to complete it, which seems to me to be one of the biggest advantages. It is also very good that there are relationship statistics, a very necessary option. In general, I recommend the game and will wait for the continuation. Thanks to the author for his work and the distributor for the distribution. Enjoy the game everyone .
