Hello everyone!
We are the Locked Kiss development team. We are looking for a scenario writer-translator (English) for an NSFW game in the visual novel genre (18+). The project is large, so we need someone for a long-term position. Teamwork is essential, and we will discuss ideas together. About the game: Based on the popular Marvel universe and the "Loki" series, the game is a story-driven visual novel in which you will meet and interact with characters with different personalities and abilities. The main character, Loki, must complete tasks to achieve his goal. Requirements for the candidate:

  1. Age 18+
  2. Adequacy, responsibility for the work done.
  3. Proficient written (Ukrainian, russian and English) speech, good style, ability to write texts of various formats.
  4. English B1
  5. Ability to logically explain your decisions in the script.
  6. Negotiation skills. Not afraid of creative disputes. About the scriptwriter-translator's work:
  7. You will need to write a plot that is planned to stretch for more than one year. We have a roughly described world, events that should happen, and characters. You will need to bring everything together. Develop characters' personalities and add vitality to them.
  8. Ability to invent and logically arrange chains of events (branching).
  9. Write dialogs and scenes (including bedroom scenes).
  10. Independently plan a point-based evaluation system (points) for the selected response option from the provided options (details in person).
  11. High-quality translation into literary English.
  12. Adapt the plot depending on the players' reactions (after the game is released).
Writing style:

  1. Accessible, understandable text. Sometimes complex, with the addition of difficult words and phrases.
  2. Don't skimp on adjectives, metaphors, epithets.
  3. "Juicy" text.
  4. Balanced descriptions and character actions. They should be on par with dialogs.
  5. You can use onomatopoeia: boom, ta-da, crack, etc. A plus if:
  6. You know something about Marvel and love Loki.
  7. You have experience playing and writing scenarios for NSFW visual novels.
  8. You have examples of your work.
  9. You have a very rich imagination and lots of ideas.
  10. You are ready for a small test assignment.
The team already includes:

  1. Employer, creator of the idea, also a scriptwriter and programmer.
  2. Renpy and Python programmer.
  3. Character artist (2D).
  4. Background artist (3D).
Already completed:

  1. Patreon profile filled out.
  2. Instagram, Twitter for the project. Discord is also planned.
  3. All character sprites for the demo version have been drawn.
  4. Backgrounds for the demo version have been drawn.
  5. Draft scenarios in English and Russian.
  6. A completed bedroom scene in Russian.
  7. Mini-demo version of the game.
