looks like a homer, but it's a pop fly to right field.

oddly, i've been playing quite a few autobattlers recently, and i'll restate what i've said before: games that more or less play themselves mesh well with nsfw content. LtL is, at first glance, the best execution of the concept i've played yet. there's very little inventory or stats management to slow the pacing down, and the adjustable game speed is very welcome. the actual gameplay is simplicity itself. pick a route, watch Loi smack monsters with a stick, equip gear with bigger numbers than your old stuff.

that said, this simplicity leaves something to be desired. there is little room for interesting builds here -- maxing damage and action speed make for zero challenge -- and the minimal UI is less forthcoming about your objectives than it should be. i've missed more than a few side quests simply because i couldn't tell what the game was asking me to do.

on top of that, i don't love the implementation of the love meter, which determines if you can fuck enemies on the world map instead of fighting them. it builds far too slowly for my taste given the low-res, low-framerate scene animation and the dearth of enemies with scenes in the late-game. why can't Loi have sex with the sirens or the fishmen in zone 3? why is there only one fuckable non-boss enemy in the final zone?

LtL is technically complete, but it really feels like it could use a few more content passes. what's there isn't enough to stop me from considering the actual gameplay as anything more than padding.

at the end of the day, though, it's short and can be completed in less than an hour, flaws aside. it's just something of an unsatisfying experience.

Unintuitive controls (how do you even equip things? I have 2 weapons and 2 armor in inventory, are they automatically equipped? Do they stack?), no story or explanation of anything, and boring, noninteractive gameplay.

i don't normally go for this type of game, but it's super fun, the ero scenes are also very good, if i had anything to nitpick about it, it's that i wanted more of, it felt like a very short game, i have high hopes for more games like this one form the developer and just in general

    Review for v1.0.0

As others have said, the Loop Hero inspiration is very palpable. But I think this also does things differently enough to stand on its own a bit as well. It's a rogue-lite (Loop Hero) that almost plays more like a linear RPG in a way.

If Loop Hero means nothing to you, let me explain a little. It's essentially an auto-battler. Your character moves automatically along a looped track, encountering enemies and events that pop up based on a looping timer. They randomly drop equipment with various properties and perks with the idea of being able to put together a viable build to progress further and not get your ass beat by tougher enemies.

While there is some RNG involved, the degree of randomness is actually pretty small. The layouts don't change, the quests stay the same, equipment's properties are set, and each area has the same types of enemies that don't grow in strength. This is why I say it plays a little more like an RPG. You progress the game by doing the quests it gives, which usually means kill x thing, collect x item, or defeat x boss. The rewards usually being more equipment, new areas, and of course sex scenes. There's some smaller mechanics I could detail, but most of it is pretty simple to figure out.

One thing that's pretty convenient is that you keep the gold you earn, which lets you buy any of the equipment you unlocked for your next run. You're also given the ability to jump to whatever act you left off/died on, which saves this from being super tedious when you only want to unlock missing scenes or find secrets.

As far as criticism goes, I do wish the sex scenes had a climax animation instead of just being the one loop. They certainly aren't bad, but it would have made them feel more complete. I also think some of the mechanics and quests can be a bit unintuitive, but I beat the game regardless so nothing too bad.

I honestly had a lot of fun with it. Provided you're into games like this, it's probably one of the better takes on a rogue-lite lewd game I've played. The ending and overall story is pretty simple, but it's a nice experience that doesn't overstay its welcome while still having a nice chunk of content to bite into.

Its literally loop hero (Good game btw) but with some H scenes. I enjoyed the game idea but its a little short and kinda confusing if you dont know already how it works, it just gives you a mission and go

    Rate: 4/5
    Scenes: 4/5
    Gameplay: 3.5/5

Good idea but bad implemented. Just boring and without any hints. It's like our beloved Loop Hero but with less features. I don't know what I spected from this one, but I don't like it... :(

Pretty linear game, the game more or less plays itself. Your character runs around on a track and fights random spawns, you get 4 equipment slots and can hold up to 8 items at a time. Fight things to get gold and hopefully rng rewards you with a decent item drop or shop item. Not much to it. H-scenes are forced, no real decisions or consequences to them.

There is some replayability as you keep the gold you end with and can buy anything you've unlocked thus far to start.

The porn is top notch, but the roughish gameplay is the type i never really liked. Maxing out your girl then stating all over when you finally loose with upgraded gear. i guess you could just let the game grind it's self out for an hour while watching breaking bad or something.

Unique game, breath of fresh air. Lots of hentai content, and the best part - its all in sprites. The game also has some strategy elements and decent replayability value. Art itself is excellent and stands out from a lot of generic AI based stuff. Must try for all sprite enjoyers.

It's good at what it 's aiming to do - Loop Hero but there's sex. Pixelated art style is great, complements the H-Content well, the game would benefit from more types of encounters and options but I'd assume the team will add more on that later in development. It's definitely worth finishing whether you're into roguelikes or not , as it also doesn't take that long to finish as of me writing this, not that difficult either, and it's easy to pick up due to how small the actual game is. Would also love to see the sprite on the right change appearance according to the equipped items.
